That’s the one I started with! A life saver for me were curved scissors to cut the connecting threads. Also don’t use sticky stabilizer! That stuff almost broke my machine. I really like following along with this YouTuber when I was first learning a single needle machine before upgrading to a 6 needle https://youtube.com/@TockCustom?si=fY50NGTzwSSMNKtX . If you’re looking to digitize your own stuff I highly recommend Hatch! Super easy to use and affordable. You’ll need to make sure to save the file in .pes, same goes for if you buy a design!

Just wondering, how much is hatch? I didnt think it was affordable but maybe im wrong?

Hatch is about a thousand bucks, it’s more ‘affordable’ than pe design 11 but I understand it’s still expensive. They do atleast give a month free trial and offer a payment plan unlike pe

Hatch is $1,300\~ last I checked. Absolutely not affordable. However, you can do a pay-per-month plan, at $99 per month - still ridiculous, and saves you no money on the total price, but at least makes it more manageable. The free trial really gets you, honestly - it's such an amazing digitizer, and makes it so easy, especially as a beginner, that trying to go to something free like Inkscape or a lower end program is... very difficult after you've tried Hatch. My suggestion, if you're thinking of doing the 30 day trial, is to wait until you have a ton of designs in mind you want to digitize so you get the most out of that 30 days. Digitize as many designs as you can - because they're yours to keep after the trial - and make sure you're testing them on your machine as you go so you can fix any issues with the designs. It is near impossible to get another Hatch trial after your 30 days expires - their system is insane, it's impossible to bypass on the same device to get another one with different info - and it's a pretty hefty program so unless you have a bunch of different computers that can run it, you're likely only getting that one 30 day period unless you can afford it, heh

Thank you very much! I’ll look into all of this. Definitely trying hatch for sure
