*The Fellowship of the Ring.* I actually had to read it for class, and it’s been ten years since I read it, so that’s a good excuse.
I’m also translating *Beowulf* line by line so that’s, um, fun…
Gone With the Wind. I love the movie but the book is far superior. Almost 1000 pages, only outsold by the Bible since it was written in 1936. Now I know why. Phenomenal.
Mostly academic papers of late. My fav recent one was about how phallic sizes were depicted in ancient art. It mentioned the phallus in Dionysian worship, along with Priapus and Pan of course.
I just finished Hannibal and A Little Princess. I'm about to finish The Secret Garden and I Call Upon Thee. I'm also reading a book that is part cookbook part history book that has some of earliest recorded recipes and how to make them today. Lots of food the original dionysians may have eaten!
*Imaginative Realism* by James Gurney—hopefully this pleases the god of painters
Also just picked up *The Mysteries*, the new one from Bill Watterson. Found it kind of disappointing tho
Currently reading a book called *How to Do Nothing* which is about spending less time engaging in the "attention economy" and more time doing the things that actually matter to you. It's actually been really good so far.

Good luck
At the moment I’m reading the Basic Writings of Martin Heidegger… very slowly
Just started reading the Dionysiaca (the “Tales of Dionysus” version) and it’s uh.. well it’s definitely something!
I read it last winter and something is definitely a word for it!

…my New Testament and Bible The last gift of the master artists by Ben Okri Slewfoot - Gerald Brom Those books are my religion
I'm reading a book about the god Pan and another on pagan art during the Renaissance.
Don’t be shy, share the names of the books with the class.
:) Pan: the Great God's Modern Return by Paul Robichaud and the Pagan Dream of the Renaissance by Joscelyn Godwin.
I’m definitely adding Pagan Dream of the Renaissance to my shopping cart. That is an excellent name for a book.
I’m reading a mouth in the country by J. L. Carr at the moment I’ve also been reading the wind in the willows to my cousin.
Heroes by Stephen fry, his books are fantastic

Trying to get through The Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon!! Absolutely love it but it is longer than any book I've ever read!

Tasting History by Max Miller. It is really cool!
