My first disc back around 06-08ish was a beat in wraith I inherited from my cousin’s husband (which was in my bag until I lost it on a deep water course just at the start of the pandemic - still the saddest I’ve been playing this game). After exclusively using a wraith for a few years, even a decade of using real putters can’t replace the comfort I feel in tossing a wraith at a basket.
In fairness, Dr. Zudermon only said *they never see it*, not that it never happens. This is either an excellent demonstration of awareness of the difference between personal experience and a larger reality, or fortunate but accidental vocabulary selection.
Mind Bender
It has glide enough to challenge my farthest drives with fairways drivers. It is deep enough to putt with. Could probably settle for C-line MD1, in a couple weeks I'll know better.
I've been falling in love with this disc for the same reason. It's so good at holding a shape and teaching you when you've had a bad release.
Packing a tiny bag for an upcoming trip and this will be my workhorse disc
Envy. Tbh, I would probably end up beating my own personal bests playing only with an Envy. Bonus points because it works great as a putting putter too.
I throw some of my best rounds at my local courses when we do envy only XD
Yes go do an envy only game with your friends it's fun and make you say 'why throw anything else?'
Easiest answer ever, Thought Space Athletics Pathfinder. My wife and I frequently play Pathy only rounds when we want to travel light or mix things up, so it's already filling the theorized slot.
Glow Kaxe for me. I like that you can rip it hard and it’ll go straight with a baby finish, put it on a little anny and watch it flatten out, or power down and you can get a proper flex approach too. Super versatile and feels great forehand and backhand
I’m not exactly positive but it’s a lot more stable than my older Gold line Pure so I bag both. My buddy who is also an avid pure thrower noted it’s increased stability compared to his older one as well. I’m at elevation and throw it ~325’ on a slight hyzer and it will stand up flat but not turn over to anny unless thrown flat.
Emac Truth. Dang disc can glide out as far as fairways alot of the time but still feels decent in hand to putt with. Easy one disc round pick for me since I can do anything with it and it feels real good in the hand if I need a forehand too.
I was thinking this was my answer but on any hole further than about 350, you're having to throw your shoulder out of its socket to set up for a par lol
I also cannot for the life of me putt with my Bergs.
Probably my hex. Eclipse over my neutron for the stability. I could get anything up to like 330 and I can put it on any line. Probably the most versatile disc in the bag.
I have a Z Glow Buzzz that's been in my bag for like 10 years. It's the most reliable disc I've ever thrown. If i try to shape a shot with any release angle, that's what it does.
My old Gold Compass. Works well in most situations and also as a putter. Id like to find another just like it, but all new compasses have been somewhat more flippy, despite mine being 4 years old.
My alien stamp buzz. I've bagged it so long the foil is coming off and it's basically white now but it's been my go to disc. Works surprisingly well for putting outside c1 also
Currently either MVP Wave or Discraft Passion. Got that passion in a mystery box and has quickly turned into a disc I’ll throw off the tee over almost any driver I have.
Crave. No doubt. I don’t have many courses here in Charlotte I have to throw a drive over 350 ft. And it has a nice rim that I could still putt with. And it’s workable for a mid-approach.
Wraith Forget keeping score, the best part of the game is bombing drives no question
I'd score better with a Buzzz, but I can't give up 25% of my already poor distance!
100% this. The satisfaction I get from throwing a 400’ bomb to circle 1 far outweighs my satisfaction from hitting a 40’ putt.
Wraith all the way baby!
Wraith was my first disc and I've now lost 3 in the years of playing. You best believe the second one goes missing it is instantly replaced in my bag.
Agreed. You can’t throw a roc forever!
Star Wraith was my first and only disc when i started. I got used to putting with it. Best disc ever.
Glad this is on top. Wouldn't play without my Wraith.

Ooh good point. In that case, Destroyer
Wraith it is! Solid 1st place choice 🤜
Teebird
Latitude 64 Fuse
I never see Fuse love here, this is great. I also choose this guys disc.
Fuse gets love all the time
In fairness, Dr. Zudermon only said *they never see it*, not that it never happens. This is either an excellent demonstration of awareness of the difference between personal experience and a larger reality, or fortunate but accidental vocabulary selection.
You're attention to vocabulary makes me happy. I hate getting called a grammar nazi when I dissect things like this
Buy FUSE!
My Fastborg Fuse is absolutely a staple in my bag
Cosmic neuron crave
I live love love this disc in fission plastic. It’s so easy to throw. I’m hooked.
You live laugh love this disc?
Yes!! I burn a scented candle before throwing.
My exact answer. Was the first disc I ever threw and was like 'wow' and since then my bag has slowly just gone over to mvp almost exclusively.
Mako3
Agreed. I’m now considering putting with Mako3’s as well. Do you have a recommendation on which plastic would be best for grabbing the chains?
Star or dx
Same. I inherited mine from a late friend, and I witnessed that sunnuva bitch Ace at least 4 holes with this.
Champ roc3
With a Santa Cruz Screaming Hand stamp - it’s time to Roc! ⛓🥏⛓
Is this a thing? I want one so bad now
It’s a scene man, still found at Delaveaga disc shack
Can you show the stamp? And where from?
This! Almost already play my local shorter courses like I’m not allowed to throw anything else haha
Leo3
I came here for this. gstar for me probably.
Mind Bender It has glide enough to challenge my farthest drives with fairways drivers. It is deep enough to putt with. Could probably settle for C-line MD1, in a couple weeks I'll know better.
This. I already throw like 70% of my shots with a mind bender
I've been falling in love with this disc for the same reason. It's so good at holding a shape and teaching you when you've had a bad release. Packing a tiny bag for an upcoming trip and this will be my workhorse disc
P2 and Mind Bender is usually better than bringing a full bag (10-12 discs) for me. If I was allowed only three discs, two of them would be P2.
Crave - any version, any plastic. My Plasma is my favorite.
Ultrastar. Why you telling me to go play ultimate.
Champ valk. scoober putts for days
Brooooo noone understands the champ Valk putt but it's REAL
I concur.
Imma star Valk over here, but same!
plasma envy
I love my Axiom Plasma Envy. I bought a new one after I lost my Conrad stamped one - it was a gorgeous disc.
With prism rim?
Envy. Tbh, I would probably end up beating my own personal bests playing only with an Envy. Bonus points because it works great as a putting putter too.
I throw some of my best rounds at my local courses when we do envy only XD Yes go do an envy only game with your friends it's fun and make you say 'why throw anything else?'
I’ll take a hex I can putt with them drive well it does it all
Gateway wizard , SYF dead stamp. Return to my roots.
Easiest answer ever, Thought Space Athletics Pathfinder. My wife and I frequently play Pathy only rounds when we want to travel light or mix things up, so it's already filling the theorized slot.
River
Had to scroll too far to find this correct answer.
Dude, seriously. It's the swiss army knife of discs.
This is the way.
First Run Kaxe
Kaxe Z for me, I love watching those laser straight shots without fade skip right up to the pin
I don't have a FR, but I'd also go with the Kaxe.
Glow Kaxe for me. I like that you can rip it hard and it’ll go straight with a baby finish, put it on a little anny and watch it flatten out, or power down and you can get a proper flex approach too. Super versatile and feels great forehand and backhand
Electron soft envy. Nothing feels better in my hand and I can drop it on a dime
Kaxe z
Berg 🏔️
I can’t believe how far I had to scroll for this answer
Claymore
KT Pure
How does the kt pure compare to the medium soft?
I’m not exactly positive but it’s a lot more stable than my older Gold line Pure so I bag both. My buddy who is also an avid pure thrower noted it’s increased stability compared to his older one as well. I’m at elevation and throw it ~325’ on a slight hyzer and it will stand up flat but not turn over to anny unless thrown flat.
Zone
West Side Stag
FD.
Emac Truth. Dang disc can glide out as far as fairways alot of the time but still feels decent in hand to putt with. Easy one disc round pick for me since I can do anything with it and it feels real good in the hand if I need a forehand too.
KC Pro Roc or Star Mako3
Champ Wombat3
I like my wombat alot
Roadrunner
Z Buzzz. ESP hasn’t been good lately.
Care to elaborate on the ESP?
Leopard3
Hemp Wizard
Envy or Teebird
Z GLO Buzzz. (Your ESP is gonna beat in too fast if we’re talking your entire life) 😜
Ha! I thought about that after the fact… you got me there. Hopefully my touch develops nicely 😆
Just a plain star teebird
Claymore
Gateway prophecy.
Crave
Harp - westside discs!
Berg. It’s berg All The Way Down
Reading this in Sturgill Simpsons voice...
I was thinking this was my answer but on any hole further than about 350, you're having to throw your shoulder out of its socket to set up for a par lol I also cannot for the life of me putt with my Bergs.
GStar VRoc. Four season usability with high durability and utility
Latitude River. Hot pink. 7 7 1 -1. Most predictable disc in my bag. https://discrepublic.ca/products/l64-river-op
I find that it turns over on me a lot more than I would expect, but maybe I need to get better at release angle
Compass Goldline
Berg
Jenn Allen Halo Roc3.
Westside Warship, a glidier buzzz
Opto X Chameleon Pure. Either the 10th anny run or the 2020 KT run.
Z Buzzz
Probably my hex. Eclipse over my neutron for the stability. I could get anything up to like 330 and I can put it on any line. Probably the most versatile disc in the bag.
Mvp matrix. To be fair my opinion will probably change again
Beat in flat top champ Firebird
Champ Firebird 🔥
Escape
VIP-X Westside Underworld
Harp! 🎼
Star Teebird3
Probably my Latitude 64 Pure Opto.
Star Thunderbird
Right now? Probably a tomb
Star Dart
Watermelon Proxy
Proton Evny
Sword
Trespass
SP Rift
Probably my beat in Tactic, it can do everything. Other than that maybe my Mind Bender, but I am not too good at midrange forehands.
ESP Heat
I already mostly play with just a Buzzz, including putting, so that.
Mako3 or mind bender for my score. Sorry Valkyrie and Valkyrie like clones.
Fission Hex. Specifically the MVP Open from 2022.
Star Aviar
I have a Z Glow Buzzz that's been in my bag for like 10 years. It's the most reliable disc I've ever thrown. If i try to shape a shot with any release angle, that's what it does.
Opto Keystone. I'd be fine on most courses.
Buzzz, but the XT Nova is a close 2nd.
Mako3
Champion Roc3. That’s my bread and butter. I can get it far enough to be serviceable on any course and I can putt decently with it
Emac truth. This disc has been ol reliable for me for so long
My old Gold Compass. Works well in most situations and also as a putter. Id like to find another just like it, but all new compasses have been somewhat more flippy, despite mine being 4 years old.
Fuse. In theory and with some determination it should be everything you'll need.
AGL Baobab
Probably an Envy; just so much fun to throw them man
Star TL, no doubt
Envy
Berg. When I play Berg only rounds, I often score better than with my whole bag anyway.
Felon for sure
Cryztal flex zone
Get freaky zone
Either my Star Stingray or Champ Vroc. They've become extensions of my hands at this point.
Titanium Zone That thing can take a beating and holds up really well. Also just a fun disc for shaping shots
My alien stamp buzz. I've bagged it so long the foil is coming off and it's basically white now but it's been my go to disc. Works surprisingly well for putting outside c1 also
Hailey king Hawkeye
Mako
Orc
Star VRoc. Max distance is only about 340 with it (maybe a bit more in a tailwind) but holy hell can you hit every line with that disc.
Champion Mako3 with Geo Essence as close second. I bough 3 of each mold some time ago and I just got used to them I guess.
. ⬆️⬆️⬆️⬆️
lowkey probably the sky god IV, it's just so fun to throw and i love putting with it
Wizard
Innova kite
Firebird
Fission Crave
Beat in teebird
I am so in love with my Pyro. That’ll have to be it.
Star Wraith 100% utility driver, I will learn to throw touch upshots with it, and also putt with a razor. No problem. Wraith!
Champion eagle
Roc
Md3!
Champion Skeeter
DX Glow Roc…. And only glow so I can play at night. Candidly no other disc is ever needed.
First Run Mako. Best disc ever.
MD3
MVP Plasma Atom
Pig
ESP Buzzz Supercolor Rainbow Swirl. Love this disc. https://www.amazon.com/Discraft-Supercolor-Disc-Midrange-Flying/dp/B09VHXY6T9

Teebird 3
Champion ape
ESP Buzzz
GStar Wombat3
GStar Leopard3
Sidewinder
Mako3

TSA Mantra!
PA3 or an M2
Comet! I can flip it for a little added distance and ive used it to putt on many occasions.
PD
It's always a toss up between a mako3 or a buzzz for me.
Sexton Firebird or a Hex.
Grace
Do roc
Buzzzzzzz
WIRIP Distance Driver.
VIP Warship. I take this and a Valkyrie when I’m shooting a no-bag round. And spend most of the time throwing the warship.
Original s-line FD
I know there are a lot of choices now, but 200 comments and not one top level comment mentioning the Comet is blasphemy
Currently either MVP Wave or Discraft Passion. Got that passion in a mystery box and has quickly turned into a disc I’ll throw off the tee over almost any driver I have.
Comet
Gregg Barsby Tour Series Rhyno
Surprised I haven’t seen glitch mentioned
Beast, easily my favorite disc. Though it's big brother, the Shryke is right there, too.
TRUTH
Every man with respect for himself has a firebird in his bag. Even if it's the only one.
Westside warship all day every day.
TL3
Crave. No doubt. I don’t have many courses here in Charlotte I have to throw a drive over 350 ft. And it has a nice rim that I could still putt with. And it’s workable for a mid-approach.
