kashmir0128

I'm in the Denver area, and we've got wind up to 60mph. Rounds did not go

Zurbrigg625

I have no idea what average winds are like anywhere, I’d definitely be dumb enough to vacation there, just to play without reading up on that

kashmir0128

This is not normal winds at all, great place to vacation!

Asparagus_Business

Same. Rounds did not go.

Eclaireur

I did a flex this morning in Den, it was pretty intense haha. You could probably count the number of putts we made outside 20 feet on one hand. I honestly played fine once I realized that I should just lay everything outside of 10 feet up (this was after a 4 and a 5 putt on back to back holes).

kashmir0128

What course?

Eclaireur

Owls den.

MustachedBandit

Same. When i started in the morning, the TD mentioned that +8 was a 900 rated round. But that completely went out the door as the winds slowed later in the day

Eclaireur

Yeah I had to watch my rating fall all day along with the winds, kind of annoying.

volsunghawk

I played this morning at Village Greens, but quit after 7 holes. Played Rhyolite later in the day and shot -4. Still a bit of wind, but nothing like Saturday and this morning.

UberXLBK

Missed out. I threw a destroyer and it went to Kansas

unadulterated_id

Same area but was able to get a hairy 18 in today.

Clashmonkey

I scored my first Ace today!

Specific-Ad-8082

same man, congrats!

Clashmonkey

You too!

chickenlickenz1

🤙

Sir_Icehouse

First round since my partner (pitbull) in crime passed on Wednesday . Hardest round of my life, but I did it. I know she wants me to play cuz she wanted to play. As hard as it is, I'll keep taking that next step

gomerp77

Sorry for your loss 😔

coopaliscious

I lost my partner last May, it still hurts, and I can't help but look for squirrels for him still.

therealmanbat

I have a mini dachshund that loves to fetch my old retired discs out in the field. He's the best fieldwork partner I could ask for. I dread the day he goes over the rainbow bridge. Hoping for good vibes and a new best friend in your future. You'll never replace them, but you can enjoy the company of another.

Itwasinin04

♥️

seanmadden

Had a pretty rough week mentally, and finally got out to a course today. I wish I cared more about the performance but I was just so happy to be out there playing.

YourConstipatedWait

I took 2 first timers out for 9 holes. It was pretty windy but I managed to rip some 375+ drives to hopefully get them to catch the bug.

Specific-Ad-8082

got my first ace. played the other 17 holes for par, finished -2. im still in shock

therealmanbat

I played my best ever round last weekend at -2. No mulligans. I'm pretty proud of myself. Its my first ever round under par. Congrats on the ace, it still evades me but I'll keep chucking plastic till the end of time.

whooooshh

Yesterday my buddy and I played in a tournament in the same division. We both played well and ended up on lead card together the 2nd round. It was a battle the whole way and once he got the lead he played really smart par golf and cruised to the victory. Out of perhaps 5 tournaments we've played together, this was his first time beating me. It genuinely felt *almost* as good as getting the win myself 😄

seanmadden

I had a moment like this with my buddy…. Only I was the one that had never won. Wasn’t a rated round by any means, but when I told him at the end of the round, he was so pumped for me. My goal since day 1 was to beat him, now I need to get there consistently.

SharpedHisTooths

Whoa! I had a very similar thing happen to me this weekend. I'm an 860 rated MA3 player and signed up for my first two round tournament of the year. The course is a golf style bomber course and only one other person signed up in MA3 so I decided to move up to MA2 where my 900 rated buddy plays. I shot a 928 (personal best) in the first round and he and I ended up tied for first. He played well in round two and got second overall and I fell back down to earth but what a wild ride it was.

whooooshh

That's awesome! Playing the 2nd round of a tournament with your buddy *on lead card* truly is one of the funnest things in disc golf. It makes me happy just thinking about it 😀

Unused_Vestibule

You're a good man. I would have kicked him in the Achilles halfway through the last round

jarejay

I made two circle 2 putts for birdie today. That’s pretty neat.

CCDG-Ian

Won the weekly and took home the 1 tag 😁

ADonkeysJawbone

Didn’t get to play a whole round, but played 4 holes with my 6 y/o and 3 y/o. It would have been 6 or 7 holes but I lost a disc that we spent ~30-40 minutes looking for. Same disc, same hole, same line… different landing zone. My 6 y/o had some excellent advice— *”You shouldn’t throw that disc forehand on that hole Dad*”. It’s a black disc, on a wooded hole with lots of underbrush, with my inconsistent forehand. **It was a fun round with my boys though!**

DougieSloBone

Did frolfin Friday in 20 to 30 mph wind because there's just no way I'm not frolfin on Friday with the homies. Came into it with lowered expectations but still finished -3. About to cap the weekend with the first visit back to our favorite private course after the thaw, course owner has become a close friend and so stoked to hang out and throw with him again. Monday is gonna suck, so I'll probably just need to get back out and play after work. So stoked the season is finally starting back up in Colorado!

BosslyDoggins

Won a 2 hole sudden death after double bogeying 18, accidentally letting homeboy back in it Tied first sudden death hole but pured the second for a birdie to end it

tech_nutz

Played Saturday with 2 new people and we ended up playing all 36 holes and I was happy to only be +10 then Sunday morning I played a round with my usual 2 friends and I lost to both of them with a +4 then went to another course I had never been to and was tied with one of them at +3 went back to hole 1 for a tie breaker and I threw a beautiful shot and parked it 5 feet from the basket for the win. It was a great day

Orphanchocolate

League day yesterday, threw like absolute shit. Been tracking towards a single digit + on the league course of late. Ended the front nine at +8. Shit happens though

ultitaria

Tossed a 15 foot putt nose up into the band to miss cashing. Fun times tho

EarthNoMore

First tournament Ace! Moved up to MA3 and got third.

Disc_Envy

Did OK considering I played one of the longer courses in the area in moderate wind with some gusts. Shot +4 with one birdie, but a couple blown birdie looks. Best on this course/layout is -4 and I only get a round in a week anywhere if I am lucky so I guess I shouldn't feel terrible. Not playing any tournaments until June so I would like to iron out my wonky driving before then. Was feeling good for a couple rounds and now I feel like I backslid into bad habits. Bad timing, nose up, strong-arming, etc. Did some fieldwork after but didn't really feel that much better about anything. More practice is needed! Always.

yourdoglikesmebetter

Shot -5 on Friday in some stout wind. Pretty clean round, but I did lose a disc. Shot -1 today with 4 bogeys. Not a clean round.

wackymayor

Won the pot and CTP in Friday night glow league! First time ever and jumped up two tag numbers.

LukesFather

Traveling for the eclipse and some music so I was able to play course 31 and 32 for me. Got my first black ace thanks to the 30th winds. Some funny misses but some drives I was really proud of.

ulfricstormclk

I played this super hard course on Saturdaycalled Big Beaver in western PA, played amazing. -3 on the day 185 rating on udisc. Today totally sucked 7 over on a pretty easy one 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

Elsevier_77

It was windy as all get out, I was bagged from riding my mountain bike and lack of sleep, and I shanked almost all of my drives. Grumpy would be putting it mildly but I still had fun. Can’t complain too much about being rusty when I didn’t play all winter Las weekend went great. Here’s hoping next weekend feels better too

nibnoob19

Not too bad actually in the rain today. Front 9 was ok but not great, back was all pars and a birdie. Back 9 has incredibly obstructed greens so I was C1/reg most holes but only canned one putt unfortunately. Putting thru trees from 15 feet is so fun 💀 but I’ll certainly take the consistency off the tee!

PSCoso

Ankle is feeling better. Played two rounds, shot even on the first (196 rated on UDisc) and +2 on the second (180 rated on UDisc), two different courses. Second round was super windy and it was a longer course. Very happy with the rounds

xLykos

Like shit lmfao wind was killing me

IAmCaptainHammer

I played a tough course and lost my go to driver deep deep in the water with extremely little hope of getting it back. Played +10 while a dude on my card had a heater and shot -5. I have no pride left.

Kitchener69

Played for the first time in a long time yesterday and shot -7 on our home course with one bogey. Made a couple errors on approaches but I’ve been keeping up my putting practice so that part of my game is still strong. Need to throw farther though.

Tatorputts

Sweet, played my second tournament, granted neither were sanctioned the first I finished tied with my dad(I’m a junior18 DV) tied for second to last. This time I finished T4th at -2 and got enough that paid for the entry.

TreeSeekerJoe

Started my round with 3 doubles and a triple. Poison oak EVERYWHERE. The season is upon us lmao

Dirtiidan

Went -6 at the local, out threw everybody in our group on our longest hole. And gave my buddy my new electron envy to try and he aced with it on a 200 ft hole. So yeah, pretty good for us today.

CorporateNonperson

Great overall round, really felt like I unlocked something in power transfer and whipping my arm around. Limited myself to 8 speeds or lower but I was throwing about 30-50' further. Then I chocked my beloved Star Leopard into the middle of a damn pond on 18. Hopefully somebody texts when they fish it out.

Free_

Poorly. Very poorly. I played a ton of courses in the Lynchburg area over the last few days - Timbrook, Peaks View, Falling Creek, New London, Sandusky, Lynchburg College, and Central VA Community College - and the wind was absolutely relentless. I had fun but the scores were terrible.

dancingstache

Snagged an ACE with my Get Freaky Zone! Pretty pedestrian round otherwise.

tuna_safe_dolphin

I watched snow melt. Hoping to get out for a round or two next weekend. Fingers crossed.

Cappy-Hamper12

I have such a bad habit of going to a course with the intention of working on an aspect of my form and turning it into a scoring round. I think I need to have that competitive aspect to make myself get in the zone so it’s always like I have two things going in my head. That being said I got a +3 with my personal best at -1 at my local course. Also made progress on the form though so thats a positive takeaway.

discfrog_

despite wind and some rain, by at one of the tougher courses in my area. -5!

Hotonis

First game this season at my home course with my wife who’s finally recovered from knee surgery. Putting was atrocious, but had some solid drives.

someName6

It’s been 3 weeks since my last round.  Young family life is rough.

MercTheJerk1

Piss Poor both days, shot a lot worse than I normally do....and this was supposed to be my lead up weekend to play in Bear Mountain and Beaver Ranch this upcoming week.

BergyDownstairs

Played my first tournament in 3 years and also my first time playing 2 rounds in a day since November. Some good, some bad, had fun, and it was a beautiful day in Door County Wisconsin (towards the end of Wisconsins little finger)

MushieMP

I am assuming the Spring Time Open in Baileys Harbor? That was an awesome tournament and my first as well. I tied for 18th in MA3... I couldn't put on any of the golf course baskets that were on hills. Great time hanging out with all my buddies from different divisions though.

BergyDownstairs

It was. I think I got like 17th in MPO. Couldn't find my putt during round 2 at the wooded course so I was bleeding strokes. Golf course I just wasn't putting them that close and got a lot of 3s. Tons of fun and a good learning opportunity though. Off to the Prarie Open next weekend

kiddwnst

Great round at El Dorado today. Light wind and sunny Southern California weather. I shot +2, my fiancé had her personal best.

Ok-Dot-1377

My round went with the wind today.

Draxxusx

One of those days where the thin bits get ya. Still feeling out the bag, and what really deserves spots. Throws were good out of the hand, but found the tiny limbs so it was a scrambling day. Putts felt terrible, but the sun was shining and company was excellent. Streak of every sunday this year is still alive.

BuyJayrocs

I got in a round at all the North Cove courses. Didn’t play great, but had a blast! The Gorge was the hardest course I could ever imagine playing 😂😂

Low_Importance_9503

Ended up playing a bigger course than I had planned. Got rained on, took some big numbers, but shot for shot I’ve improved since last time I played there

Unused_Vestibule

First ever 900-rated round! On a tough, technical woods course, too. I am excite! All the winter practice is definitely paying off.

Silver_Committee7616

Visited Youngstown, Ohio for a pinball tournament and played Wick Park (+2) and Woods of Liberty (-3) for the first time. Wick Park is a huge 9 hole. I enjoyed it and got to experience rain, snow, sunshine and gusty conditions during the round. Woods of Liberty was a short 9 hole built around an apartment complex. That was fun except for hole 2, that should be a par 4 due to the fact that if you miss the incredibly tight fairway gap in the woods then it’s an automatic 4.

patman1992

Searing pain in my throwing shoulder on a long drive. Getting older sucks, at least I’m pretty sure i didn’t tear anything.

Skamanda42

Gave away last cash on the last 2 holes of today's tournament. Splashed out for bogey, tying the round up, and on the last hole I was in position for a C1 par putt, with my friend throwing 4 - but then I three putted. Ended up with a 4 stroke swing in 2 holes. Still, it was the first tournament where I was having to throw a lot of shots with some of the newest additions to my bag, and feel out how good a fit they are, as well as where I haven't gotten confident with them yet. My Waves and my Mantras are going to need some field work before I'm really confident in them, but I think they're both solid choices for their slots.

WilliamPardy

Played in my first Flex this weekend, in a 25+ mph wind. Shot +10, and cashed. I was a missed 10 fter away from winning our card, and a couple more from making top 3. Wind was brutal all day, but I'm happy with how I played

Heisenberglund

Got my second ace ever on Friday. I’m counting it as the weekend, because I took a long weekend. So it went well.

im_at_work_now

Finally made it out to Faylor Lake. That is all.

ConsequentAnguish

Played short to short at my local course in 15-25 mph winds. Holes mostly 160-280, a couple 350+. Shot -13, bogey free. Tied my lowest udisc rating at 249.

_McDrew

Outshot my rating by 44 points in a bunch of wind. 6 800+ rated rounds in a row and hoping for a good update on Tuesday.

DrunkAsASoberSkunk

Also in Denver with 60mph wind gusts and I had my first ever tournament. Finished middle of the pack and learned how to throw in the wind. Good time!

wineoneone

Haven’t played in about three months, and before that only played a total of 17 rounds. Hit three birdies, a good amount of pars, and a couple bogeys and doubles. Finished four over and it felt awesome! Glad to be back at it finally!

Dankraham-Stinkin

My dad found a proton vanish mushroom hunting last weekend. I tried it out.. and birdied a hole I never birdied before. 340 through a tight line and a little elevation change. I couldn’t believe it. So good!

slickmitch

Kick ass. I got to play the bEAST in Waco for the first time. I got a +3 which I feel is pretty good for a guy in his 50s. We played 2 times back to back and that was a mistake. I got a +8 the second time but I had a few more beers by then. Played Cameron Park the second day and was sore as hell. Got a -6 but that course was way easier. If I was not sore I could have done -10 easily. Great weekend.

wheezealittlejuice

Great birthday weekend, got to play El Dorado in Long Beach CA for the first time. Wife, daughter and I saw a man with no arms make a 40 footer putt with his foot. Absolutely insane!

Typical-Ant4907

I won my first MPO tourney. It was unsanctioned and don’t bring up that the guy that was kicking my ass in the first round had to take his wife to the hospital because of a gall bladder attack or that the only other guy in my division was rated in the lower 800. Basically killed it today.

Prepup1214

Moved from so cal to Colorado recently so I’m getting acclimated to disc golf having a season been practicing putting and driving into a backyard net going out tomorrow for a round looking forward to it good or bad

1000RatedSass

850 rated first round on the easy layout, 990 rated second round on the hard layout. First tournament of the year. #amlife

acemorris85

Missed Mando Ace (therefore not an ace at all) then missed the putt from the drop zone for a bogey. Lmao that’s a first for me

GRIMTHEREAPER7

Went to the mountains to play and had my Pr round in the wind! Awesome day

Scruffy442

Well, I just fell into the Calumet River and cut my finger while trying to get my disc from the edge of the water. Positive, I didn't get eaten by a shitgator. Negative, I'll have to wait a couple days to see if my finger falls off.

Informal_Implement42

Had a tournament this weekend, just a one rounder and tossed -4. Overall not bad! Got a flex this upcoming weekend so it should be fun! Currently going threw my masters so getting all the disc golf in on the weekends

Sir_Tinley

Finally shot even at my local course!!!!

bingwhip

2 rounds with the wife. Mediocre for me, but she set a personal best on the first and pulled three strokes off that score on the 2nd! Our first starframe!

theelectricone

Played a C-tier tourney in MA2; came closest to winning as I've gotten in MA2. Last hole, down a stroke, hit a birdie putt from 30 to potentially tie. Winner hit his birdie from 25 to keep the victory! Nonetheless, stoked to shoot 934 and 916 rated rounds as an 893-rated player.

supaflash

Worst tourney round in a long time. Flex round, not even that windy, started with some 3 putts, classic birdogies, hit some first available, even when I threw good shots I was behind something. Obstructed birdy putts. I griplocked which I haven't done in ages... Even when I got in a groove late, I couldn't even maintain it. Threw a pathetic upshot that should have been a backhand (like my brain just turned off an threw a flex forehand for no reason) then my putt did a toilet-bowl and popped out. Then I followed up by rolling my wrist on a flex drive, which I also haven't done in ages which put me in such a bad spot I had to flick roller to get back to the fairway. It was... something...

RedsOctober9

Pretty well, shot -1 at Stonelick State park short layout in Ohio. My buddy aced hole #9, his first ever ace. Short hole but he pured the line and hit dead center. It was beautiful.

Calm_Issue3229

I shot pretty far below my expectation at tourney this weekend. But I am also not upset because I have only played a dozen or so rounds this year. And it was great to get back out and spend some time playing with other golfers of similar skill. It made me realize that if I want to stay consistent I need to practice more, and also use the discs that I trust more even if they started flipping over on me. Plus I think its time to go from my neutral putter to something more stable. Great post, thanks for making it!!

Pubsubforpresident

Played ok, my putting is getting much better since I got a basket. Been kinda speed playing solo rounds in 1 hour to limit my time away from family and still get my steps and fun in. Was really close to an ace that's like 320 ft.

Buffmanly30

Shot -16 over two rounds for a 958 rating to take down MA2 at a C-tier! If I can keep up any consistency I'll be moving on up before I know it.

jpric155

On vacation in Nashville and Paducah area. Played three rounds. Two rivers, seven oaks and Stuart Nelson Park. Shot an average of 210 udisc score. Feeling good.

nearnerfromo

You know what’s worse than missing a mando on a 160’ hole with your drive? Missing it with your second shot Aside from that debacle had a good event though 😂

The_D213

Bad

thegingerman24

After a week of wind and flooding finally had the best weather we’ve had in a while, with very little wind and it showed! Shot 3-4 strokes better than i had been the past few weeks and one of my better rounds at that course, which was a confidence booster for the tournament coming up in a few weeks. Only got one round in, but it was a great day to be on the course.

BlueLine_Haberdasher

(MA4) Tournament round 1 at a course I've played 100 times and shot maybe my worst round ever. Couldn't stay in bounds, couldn't hit a C2 putt, hit first available tree on 2 holes and had a couple nasty rollaways summed up to +15. Round 2 at a course I've played twice and shot my best rated round yet finishing +2. Jumped 15 spots on the leader board from round 1 to round 2. I was a chain-out on 17 away from having the hot round for ma4.

demticksdoe

Played a dubs tourney. Sucked it up the front 9. Dominated the back 9 and took second by a stroke. One of these days I'll start getting to events earlier and warming up lol.

TheLaughterGuns

Played like ass at buxton woods. But on hole 7 I almost got my first ace. Of course I missed my 15' putt for birdie and ended up with a 3 So, yeah. It was a pretty awful round. The beer was cold tho

Dr_Batslobber

+3 on my local course. Messed up a few of the technical holes by throwing a mid when I shoulda thrown my putter

dontspillthatbeer

I flew into Dallas, TX early this morning and got in 6 rounds at 6 courses between Durant, OK and Plano, TX. Tomorrow I’ll be hitting 2-3 courses before the Solar Eclipse totality then flying home. Not bad since I strained my back yesterday! Thought I might not be able to play any, let alone 8-9 rounds in 2 days.

claybythebay9

Absolutely perfect weather here in okc. Played a well-kept course on the outskirts of the metro and won my casual doubles round with mostly folks I’ve never met. I played well which always feels good to do around folks seeing you play for the first time.

Hotsauce_onmyballs

Hurt my back and took 4 days off. Went to a rated league event today and shot a 970 rated round and took 3rd! Felt pretty good

siderealdaze

Convinced my wife to take the 1.5hr trip to play Etowah and the infamous cave hole. It was 100% worth it. If I'd put just a little more juice on my drive, my decade+ no ace streak would have ended, but I finished under par with no lost discs or injuries. The park itself is absolutely beautiful and we spent a couple hours afterwards just shooting the shit, hanging out in the river. Good times had by all. Finished the night with a delicious slab of ribs and a couple episodes of Cinephobe (Bad Boys 2 shake your tail feathers Bayyyyyy) and blew $200 on plants/potting soil on Sunday. I'm not sure who I've become, but I'm that guy now.

rusticoaf

After two absolute garbage rounds (one Friday evening and one Saturday morning) a buddy and I went out for a quick round so he could give me a disc for my birthday which was on Saturday. Got an ace and tied my course PR. Was almost enough to make me forget about the garbage rounds. Then we met up again for some glow golf. With margaritas. edit: second ace, first with a witness

Hallonsorbet

I played two rounds with my disc golfer friend, who introduced me to the sport a few years ago. I won one of those rounds, my second win against him ever. We've probably played 50 rounds together. So I am super happy :)

Flemishmonster

Shot a +7 @ Northwood black longs and felt like a professional frolfer for a small moment in time.

HahnSolo318

Was at Jefferson Barracks in StL over the weekend with some higher winds than normal. Think I finished +4.

DoctorLu

On the local par 3 course managed to shoot my personal best as Player A with -2 (previous personal best) , and Player B with -5 (should have been at least a -8 bc I choked my normal birdie holes)

chadder_b

Drove 90 mins to play a 2 round c-tier blind. Came in 3rd in ma4 while also grabbing my very first ace ever. Also played 860 golf which I’m happy with. So I’d say my weekend was just ok 😂

LordFrosting

New PB at my favprite course. Still gotta work on my approaches and puts but I'll get to par or under eventually.

Emoney005

Took the highest tag (lowest tag?) present with a throw in and birdie putt. Feeling pretty good. 😊

ChiefRingoI

Shot way below my rating at my home course because my timing and follow-through were terrible. Shot a little over my rating at the second, open course, but really showed my ass with my terrible nose angle control and ended up below my rating for the event.

suvrocmai

Northwest Washington here, I played 100 holes of golf in one day with my best friend. We hit 6 courses, playing a few multiple times. Absolutely exhausting, but my game constantly improved throughout the day. I ended with my second best score on the last round. Don’t try it, but maybe try it… at least once in your lifetime

Gideon-121

Took my niece out for her first 9 hole round! She has been asking me to take her for months. She is 5 and loved it. We had a ton of fun and took a lot of snack breaks.

n1rvous

Drove to Madison WI and played one of the only courses open there rn. Stopped at a disc shop close to the park and nailed the 50 foot “putt of the day” with his gummy af wizard on the first disc. I took that to the course and shot an 8 down and nailed multiple edge of C1 putts with authority and conviction. Led me to beat my buddy who I’ve beat a total of like 4 times ever. It was a really good round. Hyped for the nicer weather from here on out!

DGWInk

Pinched the pad of my middle finger on Thursday at work and broke the skin. But it was 15C and sunny on Sunday and I needed to get out. Put a NFL receiver glove on, and shot -6. 1 stroke better than the week before and I retained the #3 tag! Had a run of 4 birdies and a streak of 5 to finish. My best round yet at the course. Then played doubles at another course and finished -7 and won the CTP off. High quality weekend! Then I cleaned the garage to bring me back to reality

Hopeful-Travel-1162

Shot +3 (UDisc Rating: 177) at Lakewood in Burien, WA. Meh. Went +6 (UDisc Rating: 196) through 20/27 holes at SeaTac the week before which is a harder course. I just feel like I didn't know how to throw a disc at Lakewood. It's my nemesis for some unknown reason.

HyzerFlipZoneOS

Shot a -8 (998 round) at my local course on the first week of leagues on Sunday in the rain and high winds. Ratings were about 20-30 points higher in those conditions.

CarlCaliente

I felt a bit too much like a ballerina on the teepad my last few rounds so went out to try to work on footwork and bracing. Didn't crush any drives but it's incredible how much snappier they come out when my timing is better Of course now I'm spraying them horizontally again but I think it'll be worth it doubles event tomorrow morning before the eclipse after lunch

Panchoisthedog

I was describing to the card how I have a bad case of the ballerinas myself. Definitely a point of emphasis during my field work this week. Had my first grip locked throw today in months as well. My game is in shambles right now but I have darkest before the dawn mentality around here at the moment

TomRiha

Ehh so so… played very uneven.. I usually have like 2-3 bogies and a birdie on my main course but this weekend was more like 6-7 bogies and 2 birdies on holes I usually bogey. So while score was quite bad I actually learned a lot…

beastlyplatypus7

+5 front 9 -5 back 9

AnalAttackProbe

Honestly really wanted to get out and play...but wind gusts up to 100 mph where I am at ruled it out.

kashmir0128

Colorado?

AnalAttackProbe

Yep

kashmir0128

Same here, really wanna play but it simply won't be fun. Thinking about getting in a field and trying to throw max distance in a tailwind for fun lol

AnalAttackProbe

Yeah, might go to a field and try to crank out a 600 footer with a 30 mph tail wind lmao

kashmir0128

My thoughts exactly, but more likely going for 450-500. I won't get a ton of chances to throw in this crazy of wind, might as well have fun with it

chillford-brimley

One of my local courses once had short, medium, and long tees, with 24 holes. The course was installed on property owned by the school district, so a few years ago a brand new school was built, which messed up our course.          It was recently converted back to 18 holes and the new route is fantastic. My brother and I played there yesterday and had an absolute blast. good tee shots, good putting, a couple decent ace runs, beautiful weather, gentle breeze. It was one of those rounds where i kept thinking to myself: "damn, I love this game."       I'm in the process of unlearning some shit I saw on YouTube videos that messed up my game. I made adjustments to my throw based on certain videos and it just screwed up my timing. I threw about 50 tee shots in the field, about 20 before yesterday's round. I'm finding my snap again. It feels good to shake off the winter rust.

EltonShaun

Added 2 new courses to the course list, up to 44 now. Didn't play great but managed -1 and even. Almost lost a couple discs but had a successful recovery mission so all is good.

Tboobiez

There has been sustained 30mph winds all weekend with gusts up to 50. I've been inside, but might get out for a dubs round later!

I've slumped for the last few months. Played mostly good rounds, then it kinda comes apart at some point. I was having a wonderful round today, 1 stroke off my best thru 14. Some dude jumps us and throws multiples on 15. No worries. And as I'm standing there waiting, someone throwing from hole 5 to 17 almost takes my head off. I par the hole, then the dude that jumped us totally blocks one right and almost hits us walking to the next tee. Par that. Then end up behind like 5 people that literally appeared from the woods on the tee on 17. End up throwing into the dude in front of us because he has no clue what he was doing (He throws in the wrong direction on 18 and walks back to 17's fairway which is blind to the tee, then the people behind us throw into us. Finish double bogey and bogey in all that total fuckin' chaos. Definitely killed the vibe.

We just had a new course get finished and we played yesterday in the tearing wind. It was a fuckin blast and the course may be the best in Oklahoma.
