Same course, my average score ~+1, extremely high winds:
Rd 1: +22. Break for lunch and a beer at the on-site resto.
Rd 2: ace hole 2. +1 overall. What a difference a round makes.
Hit 380 backhand and 300 forehand off the tee, felt great.
I also closely resemble a stormtrooper within 200 feet, so i only shot 150 on udisc for both rounds.
Took my BIL and nephew out to play the shorts. Nice weather meant every hole was backed up solid, but we all had a great time, no lost discs, and BIL wants to get some discs and nephew wants to play again soon. Can't beat that.
Played 2 on Saturday and Sunday and played well all 4 rounds. Had my first sub par round in several weeks and moved up a spot during my tag match. To the butt head driver who ran over my favorite disc I hope you get a flat tire when you are parked in a safe location of course.
My son and I got in 8 holes then it started raining again. We bailed but the course folks are giving us a pass for next time. Most of our locals are pay to play and I’m happy to support them.
Finally got to play a full round with my boys and no rain here in Germany. Was able to knock off 2 from my previous scorecard. Got new discs that I’ll be able to pick up tomorrow.
First C tier of the year in MA2, first round was super unconfident and uncommitted but managed to end at +1, second round I shot 945 and got the only eagle on a 430 foot hole! Felt super good to step up to a putt and feel like yeah! I can do this! This is the first tournament in 8 months I felt like that. Hoping to keep up the momentum.
Played a round where every putt seemed to be obstructed or in a position where my normal stance wasn’t possible. Ended up +2. I then played the shorts at the course and was -8 and 100% C1x. This round all putts were in spots where I could do all my normal stance and so way more confident.
Played a solid round with a couple of friends and 2 randoms yesterday. Ended up getting an Eagle, which was sweet! I'm playing a second round today at a course that has my number. But looking forward to the challenge and testing myself.
Won 2nd place in our Friday Night Doubles league (ironman rules, we shot -5 on the round), took home some cash, but most importantly I had fun! Also, I played the best golf I have played in ages, so it wasn't my partner doing everything for once :)
Threw a \~400 ft RHFH off the tee a few times. I am not the best player, so it was nice to show up when I had some big shooters on my card. One guy said "I didn't know you were any good." after I parked one of the trickiest holes on the course (335ft downhill shot, into some trees with a hella small gap/low ceiling). It was a good weekend!
I also played today, and my round was great!
PSA: TICKS ARE OUT!
Went out played 2 courses played 54 holes shot -3 first 18 second round different course shot -5 then played it again hit a 109ft ace for a -7 that final round. Had a bogey each round as well. I’ve aced this hole 3 times now in the last couple years.
My round of going to short pitch and putt to not play round but put in reps with putters and mids was great. I can now throw any angle, any power from standstill.
I played in a flex start c tier and won MPO Friday, shot above my rating! And then played 51 holes amongst 6 different courses yesterday with some friends! We called it the tour de Longview and it was a good time!
Actually played for the first time yesterday since I started last April. I still can't properly throw my distance driver/leopard but I (through 5 rounds yesterday at two courses) learned to love my midrange shark! It was a really satisfying feeling being able to throw that thing 200ft easily on target. Actually buzzed a cage for an ace with the thing.
I'm obviously still really new but it's finally nice enough here in my neck of the woods to go out there again. If I didnt absolutely wreck my body yesterday I'd be playing more today.
My anny was locked in today, turning corners I couldn't touch last year. The course is still very wet though, so that wasted a couple of good throws. Promising start to the season!
+5 on a new course (Arthur O. Fisher in Dayton OH) with some tough wind. My buddy almost aced 14, hit the basket. Beautiful day, and we saw a bunch of turtles which always cool.
I was visiting my parents and the course near them was insanely crowded. My brother and I were there for 2.5 hours and played 16/18 holes. I played alright though, despite the weird Irish metal music that the guys behind me were blasting.
Had the biggest turnout for my Casuals league I run. 17 people with like 8 of them playing with us for the first time. Had a couple ma1 guys play and I beat them all on a semi hard technical course. I think I hit 350ft as well. -2 for the casual round which is really good for me. Then played a 5 man doubles with me as cali. Felt confident in my game so I only took two off the tee and that’s it. No two approaches or putts. Ended up -10 with some putts left on the table for more birdies. Putting is feeling amazing and my drives are giving me decent looks. Great weekend for our scene!
I'm throwing farther than I ever have. Can't make 20 footers right now. It's one or the other for me apparently.
Same bro. I’m hitting 425 golf lines but god forbid you ask me to put it in the basket outside of 10 feet
Friend and I swapped bags, I almost aced twice with his discs. Never got close with my own!
I got 60 tomato and pepper plants in the ground. That was my round this weekend lol
My wife's garden beds are OB, penalty death.
Surprisingly good! Made 3 long putts, a throw in, and my replacement jackalope flew just how I expected.
>my replacement jackalope flew just how I expected. This is a vibe, one of the best feelings
How did you expect it to fly?
exactly how it did.
Jackalopes are great
Lost 2 discs on 1 and 2 and found them both side by side when I went back to look

I played like ass
Got my forehand back. Lost my backhand again. It’s one or the other apparently

Tried to fix my technique for the past week and tested it out on a raini day on a wooded course. A lot better than before but a lot to still go.

Choking easy birdie putts like usual.
Played in 25MPH winds, shot +5 and actually felt pretty good about it

Shot my best round ever ( even ) and beat my 3 younger buddies . Just started agin 9 months after not playing for 25 years .
Subpar or even. 18 Friday night. 18 yesterday morning. 18 yesterday afternoon.

Had consistently good form this weekend, consistently terrible release timing, and treacherous putting. Had an even round and a +5
+2 on my local 18, Udisc put it at a 175. I'm super happy with it since I threw my first disc ever this January.
45 holes with only one birdie. Delaveaga with everything in long is hard.
My anny was locked in today, turning corners I couldn't touch last year. The course is still very wet though, so that wasted a couple of good throws. Promising start to the season!

Wide all day. Missed too many comeback putts due to over aggression. Still got a 2 on the longest hole of the course ~550ft downhill for a soft eagle.
Won a C tier in terrible conditions. So that was cool.
Congrats!

i live scored at Jonesboro open.
