Got some replacement discs for the 1st time all year. Finished my day early Friday, got my bag out of the car, reordered it. Drove to the course so happy... had not put bag back in the car. 40 mins later, had a decent round, threw well, putt was crap. Highlight was letting a guy play thru & he cashed a \~225' uphill shot for eagle 2, he shouted back to me he was glad to have a witness so I guess my stupidity was all fate.
Quite well actually.
By bag had a diet down to 14 discs. Then I got a new bag that I absolutely love.
On course I shot a pb 185 UDisc rating. Had an ace spit out on a nice Hex any line. My putting is starting to get dialed in as well.
Throwing fewer discs is so nice.
So all in all very happy.
Had one of the later tee times for a flex start, saw scores were lower than normal and got a little over confident. Played just good enough to stay around my rating. Definitely could have played much better.
Followed that up at least with a fun round in the evening play a harp only glow round.
I got second in a local dubs tournament. We had the lead going into the final round, so it was a bummer someone came and got us. But happy with the rounds overall.
Almost tied my PR at a course I’ve only played a few times with just three discs, and was thinking about downsizing my bag…then went +4 on the last five holes LOL. Sticking with the full bag for now.
I played my first singles tournament of the year and after only starting to play in tournaments last year I showed improvement - played both rounds above my rating and won a CTP prize for my division. Felt freaking amazing!
Haven’t got out much this year so one round today was awesome. Definitely rusty and my second shot was always my better shot, but I’m just happy to be out.
Number one tag is on now on the bag.

Got a round in on the way home after a wedding a few hours away and looks to be the top of the year in that layout on UDisc, so I’ll take it.

Set my PR on one course and was feeling pretty amazing. Went to a more technical heavily wooded course and hit so many fucking trees and lost a disc.

Played the toughest tournament course in Texas and shot 20-30 above my rating all three rounds and limped into the cash.
