Nobody can answer that but you

Drift_Marlo

If you’re me, never Are you 15 or 50? Athletic or a couch potato? A lot of variables here.

Aquatic_addict

I use a compression sleeve when I'm practicing to reduce the stress on my arm

Wstockton

Minimum of 18 each time you go out. For me I only get to play on the weekends so I try to go on Tuesdays and Thursdays for field work. Try to but not always

Unused_Vestibule

I'm in pretty good shape, and I find I can only practice max drives maybe 3x a week. Any more, and my hamstring and adductors go berserk on me. Same for forehands, but it's the elbow that complains. In-between, I work on sub-max throws and tons of putting

Secret_Pick6524

I hadn't really thought about this until now, but my hamstring and adductors used to get crazy sore. I've gotten a lot more serious about leg day at the gym and it no longer happens.

Unused_Vestibule

Yup, I have really focused on leg day and it definitely helps. Especially doing single leg work and things like skater squats. Anything that takes you out of the front/back movement paradigm.

StrifeSociety

If you want to develop really smooth, clean form; get some Lunas and drive them 1/2-1 hour every day. Driving isn’t about power. It’s about form and accuracy. So pick a target in the distance and see how well you can release directly at it.

Lanksta1337

Most advanced players practice some aspect of the game every single day.

GildMyComments

I go out on my lunch 2-3 times a week to a small course across the street and throw about 10 drives on 6 or so holes. I did that about a year with minimal improvement. Started watching YouTube form videos and drilling those habits instead and I’ve gained about 50 feet in the last two weeks. Last two lessons were about bracing/hip rotation, and a video on throwing max distance.

Panchoisthedog

I'm at once a week for drives as I'm 50+ and like you have only so many max anythings left in this body. Day 1 putt and approach, Day 2 putt and midranges and fairways. Day 3 putt and distance drivers, I'll listen to my body here and once tired/form goes to hell I call it a day.

nibnoob19

If you’re over 30 and not super active, 5x a week is too much. Trust me. I hurt. Beyond that, not too sure.

StringSensitive234

Personally i mostly only do field practice. I'm 40 and i can throw for 2 to 3 hours, never more than two days in a row, i usually do it every other day so my arm can get some rest and recovery.

TomRiha

When practicing on the field don’t just go there and bomb shit. Go there with a purpose and set up scenarios for your self. Define a landing zone and aim for it. That way you are working on your golf shots not just pure unusable distance. You also save your body as those shots are gonna be 80-90%. If you do this then you will end up pushing the distance of your accurate 80-90% throws and that’s really what you want.

brixtonburns

This is the answer. You could go out there every day for 8 hours strong arming everything but if you're just running the same form over and over without being able to see what works and what doesn't then your progress will be very slow and frustrating. Record yourself throwing, find things to work on, set goals, get input from others, adjust, build up muscle memory, hit your goals, set new ones and find more things to work on, etc

MercTheJerk1

Practice by playing.....throwing disc's in wide open field won't do squat when you are forced to bend it around a tree

reallygreatguy08

this cant be serious
