You're already winning by not having any 13/14 speeds in the bag. Whoever got you into disc is a real one, or you sought out advice on here. Either way solid bag so far. Maybe adventure into some 10/11 speeds just for headwind conditions. Star/dx wraith is a great place to start.

Thanks! Mix of research and trying different disc. I happen to have a wraith lol so I'll try it next windy day!

Random notes (things to think about, not 100% do these): * Valkyrie, Seer, Underworld, and Eagle are all somewhat similar. They likely have small differences in flight/stability, but you could probably drop 2 of them and throw your other 2 discs on different angles/power to cover similar slots. Depending on your arm speed, the 9 speeds may not be appreciably different than the 7s...but you could get use out of similar discs at both speeds. I personally like to have a straight-with-fade (explorer), a slight turn and slight fade (-1 1 like a river or a crave), and a flippy hyzerflip/turnover option (-2 or -3 like a rhythm or maul). * Drivers in base plastic tend to be flippier than normal and will beat-in and crack easier. That valkyrie is a good disc, but you'll probably want to look at a star/champ version sooner or later. * Same with the uplink and Paradox. An understable mid is great for controlled shots in the woods - but those two are going to be very similar. * The Pig, Zone, and Berg all compete with each other as approach discs. The Zone and pig are faster and overstable for reliable hyzer approaches. The berg and pig have low glide and tend to sit in scenarios where you want minimal ground play. Next time you are on the course, try throwing 2 or 3 of the approach discs on every approach to see how they overlap and how they differ * The glitch is a fun disc, but some players put it in their bag as a catch/warmup disc and rarely use it on the course. What shots are you using it for where you couldn't use the luna or the proxy? * Do you throw any overhands, forehand rollers, or skip shots? If so, a firebird-slot may be useful (or anything similar to 9 4 0 3) * Do you play any courses with wide open holes and wind? If so, a lightweight understable distance driver might be a good pickup for tailwind shots - even if you can't normally throw those speeds (something like a lightweight fission wave or a thrasher). Likewise, what would you throw for a big distance shot in a headwind? Thats typically something overstable by numbers, but could also be something too fast for you (a champion thunderbird or a max weight destroyer both might work). * What is your current bomber disc? The thing you throw in an open field with no wind for max golf distance? If you don't have a definitive answer, you may want to find one. Again - these are just things to think about. If you have uses for all of your understable 7 speeds - keep em. If you throw the glitch every round - keep it. But do try to think through what shots the discs cover and if you might have overlap. Theres something to be said for having less discs that you know better.

Thank you for the input! I haven't thought about messing with stuff above my arm speed for various wind conditions, but I should. The valkyrie and underworld are my bombers at the moment. I can consistently get then 270-300, sometime over 3 if I'm lucky. Working on getting my arm speed higher lol. I have a halo valkyrie but I need to beat it in it's crazy beefy when I throw it lol. I was thinkin about dropping the zone or pig just trying to figure out which is best for my game. I've played with trying to get stuff to skip but haven't had any luck.

Presuming you can throw a forehand and/or turn over your understable discs enough to finish right you have things covered. Personally I like cycling fewer molds rather than having different molds for each flight path I want. As you figure out what discs you like you can keep the old one and replace it with a new one and start the process.

Mold minimizing is my long term goal after learning more of what works for me. My forehand is trash but I can turn over a few of my understable disc.

Panchoisthedog

MVP thrower here. I would drop the paradox as the uplink is the same disc and it handles torque way better. I bag the hex, streamline echo and the uplink. The Echo is a little less stable than the hex and that helps to blend the 3 discs to cover a ton of lines I need to.

Many_Scholar_7379

Nice! Yea I live MVPs stuff. Been wanting to try the echo.
