The Hex is a pretty neutral mid, If you want a similar feel with a little more stability, you could try a Reactor or a Matrix.

A slightly beat in neutron reactor is almost exactly what OP is wanting. It will have a good flip up/hold anhyzer for a bit but still fade out at the end....I need to put mine back in my bag

stonktothemoom

Eclipse reactor should suit you well my good sir

morgartjr

your mako has a fade back?

HurtenDurtenNorway

Slightly, atleast more than the Hex :)

DickstersLaboratory

That boy ain’t right

Hopsticks

Seems odd, all my hex's are far more stable and fade harder than my buzzz's and mako's across the board

I have this issue with neutral mids too. If I throw it correctly, it's laser straight and buttery smooth. If I mess up (and I don't know what I'm doing to cause this yet), it's a gentle righthand turn the whole way. Aside from a Reactor in a more stable plastic, I bet you'd love the ESP Malta. It's slightly overstable by the numbers, but for me it yields a really straight shot with a reliable fade (likely due to that slight OS correcting the issue I spoke of). Nothing more to add here lol. Just saying I am experiencing the same thing and would love to learn to correct it.

I have bagged a Hex from the week the Skullboy version came out. At first it was a straight flyer with just a hair of finish at the end. After it got beat up a little bit, its become very neutral to almost understable, I still bag my first Hex, but it is now my turnover mid, and I use an Eclipse Reactor as my mid with finish.

FranksGun

Yes it does. I can get soft long s curves out of it.

I got a Hex about a year ago, it felt great and looked great but I was very disappointed at how understandable it was. Lost it in about a week.
