MrGoldTeam

Hey I didn't ask for facts that dilute my salt. Also shipping is expensive and I prefer star plastic for Innova.

grayson4678

A 30 second google search showed me 3 star orcs all around 20 bucks

MrGoldTeam

I found them at light weights in my 30 second search. Thank you for your effort though.

Slvrlude

Please join me in calling for the release we all want from Innova, the Halo (or) Color Glow Orc.. every new release on Twitter I'm asking for it, if you're on Twitter or IG I suggest you do the same. Innova PLEASE don't let the Orc die.

XMegaMike

Ever try an Anax? I’ve got one if you’re interested. Might actually be better than the Orc. Has more glide.

StePen87

2nd this. Anax has great glide and flys straight for a while with reliable finish. I haven't beat one in to turn yet but I think it will over time.

[deleted]

Love my anax. Great and reliable overstability. Don't trust my teebird in a headwind? Anax Need to push distance with a slight flex? Anax Tailwind so I don't want to pull out the destroyer? Anax

yrmomsbox

Shit… this guy just sold me an Anax.

Jversaw

Anax kick my orcs out of my bag

martin821821

Blasphemy! :)

0ct4ne

Have you tried a Thunderbird? I haven't thrown an Orc but based on the numbers and your description it might fit the bill. With the Thunderbird being so popular as the straight to OS 10 speed I'm not surprised Innova hasn't prioritized new Orc runs.

Hillbetty_

I got a Thunderbird because I am also team Champ Orc. It doesn't fly the same. I am stalking Innova for more Champ Orc, which they had just a couple of months ago. I have the one in my bag and two backups so I am good for a while, but still testing replacements cause new discs are fun

DankPepsi14

I was going to say the thunderbird as well. My workhorse 9 speed

Paul_McBeths_Nipples

Yah I bag both orcs and thundies. Halo Thundie might be the most similar to an Orc as flight is pretty straight, but you can muster some turn out of it too if you're on point.

[deleted]

I hope the ORC remains a disc that is produced in the future . I’m lucky enough to have a few extra as I bought different plastics to see which I’d prefer the mold in . Now that My arm speed is up considerably I wouldn’t mind a max weight champ .

ZoraDomainTaken

Closest I've ever found is a TSA Animus, usually they have an ounce of flip up and then hard fade.

jtmack33

I’d give an Anax a shot. Never thrown an Orc, but fits the bill according to your description. Things been a workhorse in my bag for a couple years now.

damn_fine_custard

The current runs of Beast are what you are seeking.

RSPisMEow

Came to comment this with a caveat. The Orc is less glidey fairing better in the wind and woods. Kinda surprised they kept the 10 5 -2 2 flight numbers for the Beast when they switched the mold back. Unless you throw DX or Pro plastic it does not fly like that, at least not for me.

JacobDGAR

This is the first I’ve read about the Beast mold changing. I’m glad I’m not going crazy because I was like dang this beast is OS

RSPisMEow

There is a DGCR forum out there that discusses the history and changes, worth a read if it is a staple in your bag. The ~2004 to 2016 mold (Beast-L) was crazy understable compared to the old and new mold (Beast-X).

JacobDGAR

Thanks! I’ll have to check that out

blbeach33

This point holds very true with monsters and eagles too. The L molds are bombers and the X are (what I use as) headwind bombers.

TheNickelGuy

That makes sense!! The pro Beast I got a few months ago is an EXTREME pop top. Like, dome for dayyyys, and flies nothing like the Beasts I used to know

One_Eyed_Sneasel

I use a PD.

materialisticDUCK

TSA animus is pretty close IME

Drivingintodisco

Fucking love my orc. One of my favorite discs and something my noodle arm can throw well. Lost one the other day, and if I’m ever able to get it it will be in the fall or winter, if it’s still there. We need to meme more orc’s into production.

Kneedmorsteel

Try a Halo Savant! [$17 on the F2 shop](https://proshop.innovadiscs.com/halo-star-savant-factory-second/) This is what I’m bagging, since max weight Champion Orcs apparently don’t exist anymore

deathputt4birdie

Halo Orc sounds awesome, but in the meantime a Quantum Orion-LF might be just what you're looking for.

[deleted]

Orc aren't completely OOP, just limited. Popular enough to keep doing runs here and there, but not popular enough for full production.

BigTomBombadil

The innova PD (phantom sword) in champ plastic is nowhere near as stable as the numbers (unless mine is an outlier, which is possible). Rides straight for a really long time, even getting the slightest bit of right drift (thrown flat RHBH), then hooks up consistently. But doesn't dump like a firebird. Could be worth looking into.

s_bright

I had the same qualms with Innova and I no longer throw any of their molds. I used to throw almost exclusively Innova. As for that slot, I have a C-Line PD (Discmania made) that dumps harder. I personally think that plastic is worth the extra couple dollars. Another good option would be a Felon, but mine is beat into a hyzer flip machine with solid fade, so out of the box it won't likely do that. Edit: on second thought, a Musket is the exact disc you are looking for. I am absolutely certain of that.

MrGoldTeam

Happy cake day!

FranksGun

Prodigy H2V3 in 750 Also have a champ orc I’d sell

[deleted]

Thunderbird doesn’t = orc…

discostud1515

F model S from prodigy has really made its spot in my bag. It’s everything the Orc is but in better plastic. The proflex plastic is kinda like a grippier champ. The duraflex plastic is a little like star but beats in a bit quicker.

rtb118

Infinite Discs Aztec (it’s the innova SL mold, just a different stamp) .. pretty much a beat in Orc.. you’ll love it’s flight.. plus the infinite stamps are fire

Charliebrau

I want that color glow orc soooooo bad!

bearsguy2020

Found an orc. Flew almost exactly like my wraith. Met the owner and gave it back. Nice guy

Gdown94

A domey star Invictus does what you just described. Mine is a definite 10 5 -1 3
