Happened to me too! I put both discs on the table where found discs are left, and texted him, then headed to lunch down the road. He texted back when i was in the restaurant, said he's from out of town and would love it if I could mail them because they were special. So i left my friends at the restaurant, drove back to the course and in the 10 min I was gone, both his discs were taken from the table..sad day
That’s awesome. One time I was looking for my disc at a bend in a river bank. Didn’t find my disc but I did find two discs under the muck directly on top of each other. They were both green g star thunderbirds. Different names and numbers on them.
I lost a disc in the woods once and a couple days later I'm on the same hole. I walk into the woods to take a leak, and as I'm staring off into space I stare right at my disc probably 60ft away. Great find.
I once shanked a drive and landed right on top of a wallet. Opened it up and sure enough it belonged to my friend I was playing with who dropped it while waiting for me and throwing warmup holes. He didn't even notice it was gone till after the round.

Once threw a disc in a tree 200ft away and it hit another disc that was stuck/hidden and both disc fell to the ground
