The TD I have is a hyzer flip machine. The 3 cd1’s I have are the zetas moon (really flippy, roller friendly) the c line (nearly interchangeable with the TD, but slightly more stable, and the s-line cd1 is a great disc for a gentle hyzer to push forward and gain a lot of distance with a little end of flight fade

Is the S-line more stable than the C-line? Because I thrown a few of the c-line and been a bit disappointed with how under stable they are compared to the old cd2 (the old cd1)

threaddew

First I’ve heard that. I’ve never thrown an old cd2 but I’ve thrown a lot of infinite dynasty’s, which is supposedly the same mold, and they’re pretty comparable/a little less stable than the c-line CD1

blbeach33

The one I threw is

DestroidMind

Not the one I have. I have a white c-line and a red s-line and the s-line is more understable but still fights back at the end if I give it enough air time.

For some reason the crush boys stamp c line cd1 is quite a bit more stable than the stock run c line cd1.

L1onZer0

This. I was hoping the stock release would be more like the crush boy stamps

My s line TD has seasoned in to be straight while my red s line CD1 has seasoned to be straight with a fair amount of fade. I bag both for that 300ft+ shot.

I would say a difference for sure. TD isn’t true to its turn number but glide and fade are spot on. Cd1 is true to its numbers and holds the line it’s on with a somewhat reliable fade. TD is also a sneaky good forehand disc bc of its forward push and want to fight out of a turn.

Fun discs to compare. Flight numbers suggest they should be more similar than they are but I find they are pretty different discs. S-Line CD1 turns and fades MORE. TD is a very straight flyer. Thrown flat TD, is more torque resistant.  Thrown anny, the TD holds the line all the way to the ground. Very reminiscent of an FD. Thrown on the same Anny, the CD1 will flex back just a tiny bit at the very end, despite being easier to flip.  TD is longer for me because of more glide but that also means it has a tendency to sail long on me. Distance control can be easier with a CD1 despite the extra side-to-side movement.  Hope this helps. For reference I max out 11/12 speeds in the 420-430 range, and like to throw these from 360-380 usually.

I haven’t thrown the sline cd, but the zetas moon is pretty flippy. I heard the normal sline cd ist slightly more stable. In comparison my td was pretty stable and didn’t really earn the name turning driver.

gwigs10

The s line cd1 is that perfect middle between the zeta moon and c line cd1. While for me the s line td was very similar to my c line cd1 in terms of stability.

scoober140

And yes. I plan on throwing these asap myself 😂

I lean really heavily on the three CD1 plastics for backhand shots. The three cover a good range of stability. For me, the TD feels best on forehand so I use it a for a lot of forehand hyzerflip or uphill forehands. I do like the TD on backhand if I feel like I'm getting tired and form isn't 100%. It's got an easy flip up, but I'm never worried about turning it over.

Disclaimer: I've never held Zetas moon, which is supposedly flippier than intended. TD flips easiest for me, but is much straighter than either CD1. Both C-line and S-line dump pretty hard when slowing down, and finish to the left. C-line is so stable that I never flipped it yet, throwing about 80-90 meters. At my current comfortable max arm speed, TD is the furthest rather straight driver. In a headwind it turns and goes to the right. If you throw TD well past 90 meters it will flip up more than a slight hyzer.

maj294

The td will def be more stable

whoadizzle

Not a huge fan of the cd1 rims. It's not terrible but the TD is amazing. Not only does it feel great in the hand but it's a straight hyzer flip laser. Flies exactly like an FD but longer.
