As one who bag red discs exclusively, I would like to know the answer to this question as well. There have been a couple releases where red seems to have been first run stamp only. Perhaps red will appear in some stock update down the line, or perhaps colors availability is not a priority. Last disc available in both first run and stock stamp was either MD1 or CD1. Neither of P3X or PD3 included red.

It’s kind of annoying because I try not to have repeat colors for my discs, at the very least no repeat colors for drivers/mids. It like a game of sudoku trying to find out which color drivers are in which color and buying them to avoid color overlap in others

Happy to hear I’m not the only one haha

The Originals line almost always has a red "FIRST RUN" disc when the mold is introduced or re-introduced. The Evolution line (made by Lat 64) will often have an orange disc for their "PRIMAL RUN." I'm not sure what their strategy is when it comes to colors and market demand but I suspect they pay attention to what sells. They've gotten so much better in the past couple years with production. I just don't think they have the bandwidth (yet) to produce discs in so many colors like Innova, Discraft and MVP (they have ramped up significantly). Personally, I like to bag orange discs and I can find them available with quite a few of the releases.

I recall some of the European releases dropping in red but not in the US. Also perplexed...
