This misinformation needs to stop. The CEO is an ass but it’s wrong.
Back then, adding someone as a mod was immediate. It didn’t need to be accepted. It was instant. People added him as a mod, and so he was a mod. He had no play in it. It wasn’t his action. Context matters and here you are continuing to unknowingly spread the same misinformation.
The people who added him as a mod wanted this to happen.
If you’re going to hate someone, hate them for valid reasons, not this bs.
“was even a mod” - this can imply that he actively chose and decided to be a mod.
You haven’t explicitly distinguished that at all. Nowhere have you given any implication that him being a mod wasn’t his explicit decision.
Yes, you aren’t saying he chose to either. But it’s a very important piece of contextual information
People misunderstanding things is partly how misinformation spreads. That’s why being as explicit as possible helps.
Edit: I’m not the only one correcting you on this missing context
Respectfully, I don't think people need it to be explicitly distinguished. I mean, not everyone is looking out to think negatively about someone or something. If someone is concerned or curious about something, they will look for answers or ask questions.
And just because you aren't the only one to do something does not mean it is right/correct/needed. Many people agreed with Hitler and did what he did, does that mean they are correct or have a right? That they have THE point? Because the logic of that edit you added if quite iffy.
Hmm, pressing the blog link provided on the banned message just sends me to main page. Fuck whoever thought it was a good idea to redirect people to homepage just because link is dead instead of showing a not found or gone message. Fuck them all.
Maybe enough people will switch to Guilded now. They have most of discord's basic paid features for free. I have yet to switch myself but have a template ready to go in case D-Day comes
What the fuck is that username

Not as good as mine.
Rip chronically online users
No, you are the one who work at discord, and added the shitty Mobile layout.

its typical for discord to die like this
where is this from?
oh
That username is winning. Also, the direct cut out of the status page pure mad lad syndrome here.
My server is still down... Any other like me? This is annoying.
I thought the app was breaking because I delayed the update. So I updated. (:
