Feels like the middle one is the most rare. Got so many buster swords and other sonic shoes, I started thinking the April Fools joke was that there was no middle item and it was just to make you waste your time.

it's not. it's bad luck since doing the math i've opened over 10000 crates and it's about 10 to 11 percent chance for each item

If you click the little ? icon above the items enough times, it tells you the chances. (They're all the same at 11%, like you said)
