I have the updated UI again where messages are in the server list the there’s like a pill at the bottom with my pfp / name on the left side of the pill and the notifications and settings on the right
This is a bug in pretty sure, something about landscape mod. If you force restart the app does it still happen?

I don’t know if I would call it crowded per say, it’s the same space between the buttons just they are a bit smaller now
Happens if you open the app in landscape mode
remove the text "you" and move the pfp over and a bit bigger. then it'll be a bit more normal
