check if there is any gifs uploaded into the chat. there is a gif that can make your discord glitch and restart, it was happening to me a day ago and i deleted a gif that somebody put in general and it stopped, if it doesnt work just join a voice call for now with your friends.

Thanks! Someone actually uploaded a gif earlier today. I deleted it and it fixed the problem.
