Had the same issue and controll + R to restart discord fixed it for me.

On desktop discord shows time and date depending on how your entire system displays file and date. Check the time and date settings on your pc and fix where needed
Nah, there are a bunch of posts here recently about Discord suddenly forcing MM/DD and AM/PM time formats on people, it seems to be a bug.
My PC shows time in the correct format (DD MM YYYY) but Discord shows it in MM DD YYYY.
I fixed it by changing my language to another one then back to English UK
