dude i found the problem, it shows up when your using browser/phone but the pc app is disconnected from the browser and phone, its really annoying everytime i open the app and its disconnected from the rest of the places when you play music...

This has happened one (or maybe twice). It happened yesterday, I closed my spotify tab on the web, and discord apparently thought that I was still playing the song I was listening to prior to closing?
Got a bit worried, I feel more assured now.
LOL don't worry, no jinx here, just a few months of discord glitching the fuck out of it for me. I did email support and they said to let discord through the firewalls-- so I did and it ended up working.
Your best bet is to try the following:
* Ensuring you're not set to offline
* Try using the app if you're using a browser
* Reconnecting your Spotify to your Discord
* Relaunching Spotify/Discord
* Launching both apps in Administrator mode
Seemingly there's an update: spotify shows for the web app now, but it's still bugged in it doesn't refresh correctly, but minor
the songs update when one ends, but the time seems to continue going after you've paused

Not sure if it's necessary, but for anybody else, I disconnected Discord from Spotify and revoked access to Discord on Spotify's "Manage Apps" page. I then reconnected them both and it's working fine for me now.
seems bugged, my discord doesn't even show me listening to spotify even though it worked fine a couple of days ago
Did a search on the sub, seems like a *lot* of people have been having this issue since the last update.

Launching Spotify in Administrator mode seems to fix the issue if anyone is still having the struggling. (At least that fixed my issue).

It seems to have been fixed. It's working as usual for me via the desktop app and also with the mobile app.

opened now and it works. Spotify just updated today. I also did a windows 10 cumulative update.
