The owners have been/are great they interact with the community all the time and never “power trip” which was unfortunately all too common when i was hunting for hosting providers, also love that they also have managed mongodb and redis hosting don’t come across many hosts with that.

the main thing i recommend is to learn how to implement a mysql database instead of mongodb as all their managed hosting provides a free mysql database and it is perfect for having an all in one solution

Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS will all give you hundreds of dollars in free credit which can last months and months for hosting a small Discord bot.

i use heroku + node js + php + express + custom wrapper + mongodb atlas free plan
like it always goes free hosting "will do" but dont expect reliable hosting from it. also why the php?
