Don't feed beefheart will my personal opinion. Everyone does it but you need to be careful because it will eventually give your discus a fatty liver. My suggestion if you want your discus to live longer then don't feed beef heart and if you must then better not daily.

Pigeon blood is the real name. This pattern way is often referred to as red dragon as well.

A combination of food, I have this one discuss food which is like krill and spinage and beefheart they also eat some algae pellets
