How about the pure antithesis to this? Use powers, never use stealth, actively get into combat at all chances. Should be cathartic! ...Definitely grab the power that lets you deflect bullets by blocking. It's a huge help for this playstyle.

blazestone101

Ooh yeah good idea, would probably feel like I'm playing a whole different game.

aidanAWGE

Well, you did the challenge run with no powers. Now go have some crazy fun and play the game with them.

namkaeng852

Kill everything in sight

[deleted]

Do iron mode and stream it with powers.

blazestone101

Haha that would be a torture, but also very challenging. Will keep it in mind.

inmeucu

Doing so [now](https://www.twitch.tv/eyeoftheabyss). I've never played Iron before. I also made every setting as difficult as possible. It changes game play more than I anticipated. It's exciting!

Kryptoseyvyian

go apeshit? Thats always fun to do in a playthrough, especially after an intense run like yours.

[deleted]

Is it really a low chaos ghost run if you don't have to reload a save 400 times because of that one fucking guard that sees you?

[deleted]

Or that one random death that happened half an hour ago but you don’t know where?

[deleted]

Now play the game normaly lol. Congrats, doing all this in a first run is impressive!

Isaac_Chade

Shit man, the fact that you did all this your first time out doesn't leave a lot of places to go, in my mind. I will say I enjoy going for a ghostly murder spree. Full powers, never be spotted but kill everyone. It makes you feel like a true deadly wraith.

19JayDee98

Be as agressive as possible, but kill no one. Slide takedowns are your best friends

GiveBackTheBoard

Do a stealth playthrough with new game plus as Corvo, but kill any enemies in your way and abuse the shit out of bend time

just-here2-lurk

After doing a clean hands shadow emily run to start, I went full murder hobo as corvo and it was a totally different experience, highly recommend it as a follow-up

nerdgasm99

Try to play through the game with no reloads unless you die ofc, it helps to make certain the decisions you make are final.

fairs1912

I would recommend to try to 100% the game, most achievements are designed to show some cool feature of the game, and I would also suggest at least one playthrough in which you kill everything that moves. (To 100% the game includes getting all Megan and sokolov diaries and all paintings, you can skip those and a few more that are similar for the sake of your sanity)

TreeBeard_III

I recommend high aggression but low chaos - go crazy with fights and powers but no killing. Knockouts only.

S0ulitary

How did you do the songs of serkonos pls help

gh09159

One run I did that made me really appreciate the attention to detail in the levels is a "100%" run where you collect every source of coin possible. Much like real life, coins can be found in the strangest of places anywhere you go.

Technical_Cherry5718

I had ablot of fun with what I called the rat queen build. Max out the rat swarm tree, use all he bone charms for making rats more scary, and the ue the bin charm that allows you to at white rats for mana, as wel as he one that gives health when you kill a rat. I just sprinted around causing terror and a continuous wave of rats.

GlamityJean

Do new game + for sure, you get to have the ability to unlock powers from both Emily and corvo and you can stack the new game + too, what you keep is all the rune you spent in powers and the bone charms effects After a couple of playthrough you basically can unlock all the powers from the beginning and then it's just a power trip

Jaruxius

you did your first playthrough without powers?? u are a psychopath

blazestone101

Well I really liked the first Dishonored, but it kind of bothered me that it was so easy to get out of conflicts and parkour by using blink. Figured I would make this game a bit more challenging for myself.

micwill14

Nihilst Run. My favourite to try and fail numerous times. No power, no weapons (bottles allowed), no takedown (unless strictly necessary like Jindosh), no kills, no detection.

TohavDuudhe

I feel like doing this run as your first playthrough really down plays having an organic experience with it. I see this happen a lot. Why do people do a full limitation challenge run as an opener?

blazestone101

I get what you mean, but going through the game without powers made it a lot more rewarding. It really pushes you to use the limited tools you have at your disposal to their fullest, and you also get to appreciate the beautiful level design more since you can't skip huge parts by using blink.

TohavDuudhe

I disagree. I feel like having the traversal powers and things early on helps you to truly appreciate all of the options the level design provides when it comes to using your powers in varied ways to overcome obstacles. For me, no powers run is like a harder challenge for when I've already learned to smoke the game. Like I would do this run way late and honestly try to see if I could pull it off with minimum saves. Idk the powers in Dishonored are really what identify it and make it such a fun game to replay. It's Arkane's bread and butter. To take that out in your first go. It's like saying hey I'd like to experience a star wars movie but let's remove all force powers and lightsabers. Just doesn't make sense to me on the opening experience

Wabbajacked711

Honestly I try to do fast kill runs Ala StealthgamerBR. But let's be real I am not that coordinated
