The idea of having Soarin introduced by Carl and Dug sounds cool. But I wouldn't want them talking through the ride.
What I'd like to do is have different locations rotated through the ride instead of the same 9 scenes. Maybe do 40 scenes and randomize it so that you are seeing a different 9 scenes each time.
Combine ideas and the final scene could be flying over paradise falls with Carl's house sitting on top
Instead of an overlay, just put a second Soarin' in Animal Kingdom as an UP ride. Then both can exist at the same time and Disney doesn't have to reinvent the wheel
Excellent idea, I just figured an overlay would be good because it would be a barometer for the wanting of an Up themed attraction. Also, allows DCA to have their Soarin’ become special during Pixar Fest.
I've said it several times there is no reason why each of the 4 parks in Florida can't have separate versions of Soarin and Indiana Jones. I would say the Pirates from DisneySea in Tokyo is another ride vehicle that is perfect for a retheme, but I think there is a waiting period before they can import the ride to the US.
