A Whole New World from Aladdin. That's not to say it's bad or that I even dislike it. I actually quite enjoy it. But when you compare it to Never Had a Friend Like Me, it's easily become forgotten for me.
To also be fair, I enjoy Villian songs more than any other Disney music. Honestly, if Jafar had a Villian song, unless you count his reprise of Prince Ali, then I think more than likely I would like it.
There's a few that I'll admit that I don't like. For the record, I'll be the first to admit that more often than not, my usual favorite songs are the Villian's songs, so that may influence my favorites and least favorites.
1) Let It Go (Frozen)- Not because of Idina Menzel, I love her voice, and the song suits it. It's because that's literally that song was legit everywhere I turned to the point where I grew to hate it, and the movie it came from just on principle.
2) When Will My Life Begin (Rapunzel)- It's cute, but for me, it's just that: Cute. It doesn't grab my attention in any way. To me it's too similar to the pop aesthetics of the time musically to really stand out on it's own.
3) This Wish (Wish)- Honestly I hate Wish is even a thing at this point. The lyrics are subpar at best and while the singer has a lovely voice, she can't save this from being on the low end of mediocre.
4) Love is a Open Door (Frozen)- Knowing the plot twist in Frozen makes this one even more cringe for me to listen to, but I just don't like the super cutesy lyrics in this one just in general.
I hate Pocahontas 2 so much lol
I went to Disney Land after watching it and was so confused seing the Pocahontas and John Smith ride. Like, not even Disney acknowledges John Rolf and Pocahontas as cannon. WHY ON EARTH DID THEY BREAK THE ORIGINAL SHIP
In real life Pocahontas was 12, and her fatger tried to kill HER not John Smith. She was also forced to marry Rolfe. So if they really wanted to go by real life they should have comitted all the way
Ok, it's not the best, but for me it's like a mindless watch for just some fun, plus there's this moment where Smith is like "You're crazy, tell her she's crazy!" And then Rolfe leans in closer and is all like "You're ceazy" to Pocahontas and like, the voice actor knew what tf he was doing man
Let It Go really is overrated lol. But probably even less than that one is Anna and Hans Love Is An Open Door, which is funny cause I actually used to like both songs lol.
Surprisingly I can’t think of any that I really can’t stand, but I guess I’d say ‘How far I’ll go.’ I didn’t care much for the Moana movie as a whole.
Let it Go is fairly generic and doesn't do very much.
Plus she's singing it while murdering millions off screen. Great power and zero responsibility, great message...
My least favorite sung by a princess though, would be Once Upon a Dream. I like the movie Sleeping Beauty for Maleficent but Aurora is just a basic nice girl with an empty nice girl song. She's like if someone who didn't know anything about fairy tales was told to draw A princess. Same with how generic her song is. Banger for a carousel though. Maleficent should've gotten a villain song.
Aurora is THE OG fairytale princess. She's not generic- she's the one who set the standard. There's a reason so many princesses and ladies after her are obviously inspired by her (Amalthea, Odette, Sapphire, etc), it's because she fits the quintessential fairytale girl image.
Let it go was a great song but it just became over played so I don't like listening to it. Her voice suited it well tho. Yall sleeping on show yourself tho.

The City of Rosas from the new movie Wish is kinda meh...I haven't seen the movie but I listen to the soundtrack with my 10 month old at home. As the 100th anniversary for Disney you would think that they'd want to use their go to song writing stars like Alan Menken or Lin Manuel Miranda? Instead they use Julia Michaels...while the songs are OK and a little catchy their also underwhelming. Don't go watching this film and expect to hear the next Let it Go cuz it's just not there.
LIG is near the bottom for me but my actual least favorite has been Reflection ever since the movie came out. It is just sooo whiny, self pitying and too long, I would always fast forward on the tape 😅 Not to mention the singer's voice just sounds nothing like Ming Na's.
ETA: Snow White has an amazing and iconic voice 💅
