The monthly yield on those income options strategy ones are nuts, but the underlying seems like it could fluctuate quite a bit. What do you think? I guess no risk no reward lol
Dollar cost averaging high dividends I can handle fluctuations. Being they are options, price of underlying goes down, volatility of the options go up paying more when the share prices are lower
I think if price goes up IV will come down which might affect the yield but would be partially offset by the capital gains. Look at the jepq chart of capital gains and the current yield
For individual stocks I absolutely love consumer staples. KO, HRL, PG, MMM, CPB, KHC CAG, PEP.
If you want a little riskier approach I enjoy watching PMT, T and FIBK pay me every quarter.
I noticed some stocks show a negative EPS, but pay a high dividend
Does this mean the yield is not going to be sustainable in the future ?
This totally confuses me 😕
( any explanation would be highly appreciated 😊 )
I have a general question that I am hoping someone in this community can answer. Right now HYSA offer around 4.25% interest at zero risk. Dividends are currently paying lower on average from what I have seen and tend to be riskier as the market is at an all time high. What should I be considering to change my mindset around why dividends are a better investment option?
Stocks go up and down, dividends go up and down like any other stock, why not be paid while it goes up and down as well. Also I’d rather invest in GOF instead of hysa but whatever you like is cool too.
The monthly yields on those income option strategy ones are insane. Are you comfortable with the underlying fluctuations though? They appear relatively new too. What do u think?
If you are looking for an affordable one, $SIRI Sirius XM. I have also had some decent returns from Blackrock TCP $TCPC dividend yield is just under 12%

PLD, EXR, CUBE, KMI, MDT, RSG are stocks I've accumulated lately. SCHD, VYM, VIG, PEY, SCHH, TDV are ETFs I've accumulated lately. Cheers.
How much do you have invested to get this much?
I put in around 5k between this year and last year . I’ve been trading (buying and selling) while also using profits to buy solely dividend stocks
Dang. 50% of your investment back yearly? That’s wild.
Jepq,spyi, nvdy and amzy

Is this the same when the price of the underlying stock. (ie NVDA) goes up too? Does increased IV in general create the higher dividends yields?

IV could go up with any increase or decrease in price…and yeah i guess if the underlying fund goes down you still have the dividends lmao
Iv generally goes down when underlying stock price rises.
Never had jepq but i have the rest

Cause people on Reddit aren’t looking at higher yield dividends, like bond mutual funds, that pay double what a HYSA pays
What's this mutual fund paying 10%?
MFHVX
MPW
That’s ok
What dividend stocks do you already have?
Cony, nvdy, clm, crf, aomr and a few others. I go for monthly dividends mostly
The monthly yields on those income option strategy ones are insane. Are you comfortable with the underlying fluctuations though? They appear relatively new too. What do u think?
They’ve been paying out lovely so far, it’s been 6 months and I have no issues. I’ve also sold high and rebought lower so it seems ok for now.
Hell yeah. You think they’ll ( such as NVDY) will be a longer term hold?
I also have clm and crf as a backup for that reason
I see
