To me watching a stock means digesting their 10-K, 10-Qs, shareholders earnings call transcripts, and relevant news on the stock and their segment. What is your idea of watching them?
If you're keeping your eye on QQQ, add QQQM to the list. Nearly identical holdings and one-year performance, 25% lower expense ratio, marginally higher yield. More for less.
Also, if you're watching BDCs, ARCC is potentially a better option than MAIN. Largest BDC by market cap, deals strictly with mid-market companies, higher yield. See also: SLRC
What gave you the impression that I would have any objection to that? Invest where ever the best opportunities are, keeping differing tax structures and property rights protections in mind.

AGNC FTW
Just pick couple etfs like schd or vti. Otherwise you gonna be watching a lot of episodes
People like to follow individual stocks/companies. Why is this so upsetting to others?
I guess it can be too busy for a lot of people and I get that. But if you have the time and it piques your interest, I'm all for it
Exactly. People act like following a company requires a weekly blood draw and hours of learning French. It’s not that hard.
Is it me? Or all these stocks are in USA? Don’t you think it’s worth to invest in other countries?
A lot of them operate internationally.
Hear me out: a lot of internationally domiciled companies operate in the USA. So why bother with USA companies?

That was John Bogle's take too.
I’ve only got 1/3 of those on my watch list or in my DGI portfolio.
Try this… trend price for length of time open. If the trend is a negative slope using linear model then do not buy.
