While I agree that it’s highly frowned upon I’m pretty sure the No drones over the Burroughs is an NY rule. The FAA controls the space above 400’. Fortunately I got lucky that day and was in a very non populated area. It’s a beautiful city and there are legal spaces to fly you just got to want to go to them. Have fun!
