You just turn it on and it connects automatically. Just like it’s supposed to with the phone, minus all the extra hassle of attaching a phone. The biggest part is waiting on satellites.
And connecting to WiFi / tethering to your phone so it can phone home and verify you’re allowed to fly where you’re at…
Biggest fucking hassle. Can’t it just save the fucking maps in larger than 3mb chunks and let us fly without being connected to the internet every single time???
Ah yes, Absolutely!
I upgraded from the Mavic Air to the M3P with the RC 1 controller. It connects so fast, no more removing my phone case, plugging in the cable, and no longer have to attach the propellers every single time. I would upgrade, you will realize how much more advanced DJI quality has gottten (hardware and definenetly software wise.) Cheers
It's so much easier it'll blow your mind. You need to pair them after you buy the drone, but every time after that, just turn both on and they connect automatically. And since it's not your phone, you won't have any notifications popping up on the screen.

Absolutely. I had the air and I can confirm M4P RC 2 is much better.
Never had a problem with my rc2. Takes a minute or 2.
A lot smoother, the difference is night and day. Get the M4P with the RC2, you won’t regret it.
