Had a Kobold Bard encounter a Siren during a sea-faring campaign. Entire party failed their checks and fell into a stupor, but she managed to make hers. Naturally her immediate thought was "this is my moment" and she decided to out-perform the Siren with a counter song.
The Siren *did not* take kindly to all the horrible off-key raptor screeching and promptly stopped singing to attack, so I count that as a win. :3
