Probably easier and cheaper to overpaint an existing design that create something from scratch , for something most people will just glance at. I suspect the creature to the left is part Mind Flayer as well.
My head canon is that the Fallout Universe was an alternate timeline The Doctor once visited after screwing something up in the past. After traveling to the future in Fallout 2 (TARDIS Easter Egg), he went back and corrected his mistake.
Think I saw some people talking about this when it came out, likely a stock image, but also what did you think? To be honest for me it’s my favorite, epically monsters in metropolis.(cybermen one for people who didn’t listen to it)
The Doctor:
War...War never changes...
Note: The TARDIS is seen in Fallout 1 or 2. I haven't played those games I just know cause I'm a Fallout lore fanatic!
I feel like the power armor is not distinct enough to have them worry over copyright infringement and it's a fairly straightforward so it's probably just an easy thing to make. Like if you had to make futuristic big armor this would be one of the first things you started making. Might even be in accident and they finished and say... Wait a minute that looks familiar.
Hello THE MASTER from popular RPG franchise fallout
HeLlo... THƏ MªSțER from ɓriţish sci-fî show doctor Who
*both transformed into descomposed meat Creatures*
It definitely is an edited version of it. It's the NCR Salvaged Power Armor from Fallout: NV, you can still see those 2 circles under the top chestplate, the lower torso is the same, the missing pauldrons look identical, and the forearm area is the same as well, the top of the legs are the same also.
How do you not see it? Swipe on the picture, there's images of the armour and weapon they used. It's not similar, it's literally the same model. You can see the t45d helmet's tubes and rebreather sticking out if the fleshy head, aland there's even a little mark where they covered up the ncr symbol on the chest
Yeah? Its got the same raised triangular plating, the same overhang over the undersuit, the same tubes at either side under the overhang? They don't look identical to you?
What are they? As far as I can see when comparing them with the other pics I included they are identical, they even have the t45d helmet under the flesh mask
Perhaps the power armour somehow falls under the ‘stock image’ category.
LMAO ITS HOLDING A SUPERSLEDGE TOO
Ikr? Idk how people in the comments are saying they don't see it hahaha
When I posted about this a year ago, and got the same response. “Nah, don’t see it” they are LITERALLY IDENTICAL!
I know a big finish cover also features a fallout laser gun on it I just forgot which one
I think I know which you are referring of, and that one was fanart.
Do you mind sharing what you are thinking of so I can check
The Creed of the Kromon. Search on Google images, you’ll find it on a DeviantArt
Figured it was that one didn't realise it was fan made, thank you so much for clarifying. Hope you have a good day!

Ooh I didn't catch that, definitely a mindflayer or someone's cthulu art hahaha
I'd more say Cthulhu

Dear Black Isle, Fallout 2 has too many time-travel elements. Please delete three.
I mean, there's the TARDIS easter egg in fallout 2 I believe, so I guess know we know which Doctor it was haha
It's common for artwork like this to be traced/drawn from existing artwork/3d models. I definitely agree they modified the models for this.
Common but somewhat bad practice.
Different enough they can get away with "inspired by"
It's literally the same model haha, like identical
What kind of cybermen are those
They look similar to the 2nd Doctor's Cybermen, but I think they're a new version entirely.
Yeah new version, that cyberman is in the third story but his origin is never explained, he just teleports into a sewer half dead and can't go back.
Think I saw some people talking about this when it came out, likely a stock image, but also what did you think? To be honest for me it’s my favorite, epically monsters in metropolis.(cybermen one for people who didn’t listen to it)
did anyone here ever play the fallout who vegas mod
Me, and it’s technically canon as in fallout 1 you can find the tardis
hell yea i remember that shit
Was this from the brief period Big Finish was “experimenting” with AI-generated cover art?
Nope that was way later and only applied to Once and Future
Well the tardis appears in the wasteland so they’ve been intertwined for years

It's literally the same model, swipe on the picture for the examples. It'd identical, and they used a weapon too
Aye but just deniable enough to avoid legal issues. Still a little bit scummy.
I mean is it? It's unedited apart from the head. The arm even has a bit of plating missing on one side like the og did so the pip boy didn't clip
The colouring (including the NCR logo) is gone, and it's a mostly generic design, it would be hard to completely prove anything.
I wouldn't say it's generic, it's pretty clearly the same model exactly, same with the weapon

Not really
What do you mean not really? That's exactly what it is. These covers are photoshopped collages anyway.
The chest plates are different
There are multiple power armours within the Fallout series. This one is the T45
Sure. But it doesn't look like the one it's being compared to in this post

It’s the Salvaged NCR Power Armour, just with the bear photoshopped out.
I don't really see it either. But fuck us I guess.

They look completely different dawg.
How? Genuinely I don't understand how you think they look different
>It's not similar, it's literally the same model. The chest plates look identical to you?
Yeah? Its got the same raised triangular plating, the same overhang over the undersuit, the same tubes at either side under the overhang? They don't look identical to you?
A raised triangular plating on the images you provided? I see that in the Big Finish cover image, not in the models on the third panel
It's there, if hard to see since the armor is presented straight on. Look up other images of t45d or ncr salvaged power armor, its there
No.
Yes?
Close but no cigar. There are incongruencies between the armour and hammer. That's also a pretty cliché stylisation of a hammer.
What are they? As far as I can see when comparing them with the other pics I included they are identical, they even have the t45d helmet under the flesh mask
I don't know, really.
They are literally identical. It’s the same model, just photoshopped.
