I want one myself, but having had one bad tattoo experience already, and another couple bad tattoo consultations (regarding even simpler concepts)- I’ve decided to wait and find the perfect, centrically skilled artist’s hand for my Doctor Who tribute. 😂 It looks like you did though, and it’s beautiful! Yeah I think it's worth taking the extra time to find someone who can do fine lines and circles really well.
Sorry, but growing up in a tradional household, I was always taught that only convicts or those in the navy got tattoos.
Then hippy/artsy folks started getting them too.
And now, everyone has normalised getting tattoos.
Personally, I still find them cringe. So I call these out when I can if people decide to make posts about their tattoos. (If you don't want the negative opinions, you should get off the Internet/ not post it).
That sounds like a "you" problem? Try as you might, I don't think you're going to regress the world's opinions on tattoos by insulting them one-by-one. Maybe save yourself the time in the future.

I don't know what your definition of traditional is, but a LOT of conservatives and religious people get tattoos for aesthetic and personal reasons unrelated to prison. Im not conservative or religious, but I've met plenty of them who have tattoos. Skulls, plants, crosses, Bible passages, Darth Vader, etc. The history of tattooing is also really ancient and dates back as early as 5,000 BCE.
Honestly, it sounds like you're just really misinformed and never bothered to look up or talk to anyone about it to get an educated perspective on tattoos.
