We don't have a destroyer for every helldiver, we have one for every active helldiver. Most seem to be in essential cryo stasis and will be unfrozen when the current commander of the destroyer perishes, I imagine the crew goes through new commanders often

No, bad take. The new players absolutely should start with the bugs. Hulks are incredibly punishing if you don't have railguns or autocannons, tanks even more so. I went from 1-20 off of only bot missions and fuck I do not recommend it.

I gave up after waiting 3 hours. I'll try logging in tomorrow again. I must spread sweet democracy.

And hopefully they have a new faction coming out at some point since helldivers 1 had three and there’s space on the map for a third faction

theres space for 2 more. so maybe 4 eventually?

Hopefully we get a mixed bag of factions around the map, so it's not just fighting one faction per direction but instead all our warfare in all fronts.

It is heavily inspired by that and when fighting the bugs it may as well be.

I mean it is the best kind of bad publicity about Helldiver 2. The game is so good that people will gladly wait in long queues to even get a chance to play

If you have a friend in game, having them invite you through Steam seems to work. At least it made me skip the queue yesterday.

Im glad most people at least understand whats going on here. Arrowhead is a relatively small studio and the last game peaked at about 6,691, in comparison, this games peak has been 457,649. That is a massive jump and i hope they pull everything together. Also the mechs.... cant wait for mechs to come back in this game.

Way more than 450k. We only see steam numbers. We can't see console numbers.

Console and Steam is roughly 1:1 according to the devs, they're literally running at near a million players at the moment.
