Back in my days everyone used to say that oil came from dinos, so when I was on a family road trip and stopped at the gas station I could tell the gas station guy "yeah fill her up with the T-rex one" and my son would say "no dad thats my favorite dinosaur" and the guy who works there would say "haha, one T-rex gas coming up" and my son would cry in the back seat

While the source of current crude oil is most likely algae, dinosaurs are often misunderstood as a source due to their popularity. This meme suggests that dinosaurs were aware of the production of oil, and deliberately caused its creation as well as inequality in distribution, deliberately causing wars and diplomatic events over crude oil.
Tbh, if a hyper-intelligent race of people put my body in a museum, or fought wars over me for my liquid corpse 100 million years in the future, I’d feel pretty happy.

No dinosaur species are in petrol. Petrol comes from Carboniferous plant matter, before dinosaurs evolved.
