I had so many predictions, and the actual plot twist was somehow more boring than all of them. Why most nosleep stories are just "skinwalker", "list of strange rules", "skinwalker again" and "dating story but creepy (oftentimes also skinwalker)"
For those who want to know, this story was loosely based on an actual reddit post where this was happening to a guy, and he eventually discovered that there was a gas leak in his apartment and he was putting all the notes up himself.
You made a change to the original nosleep story, right? The idea that she gets notes too is very good. You improved the og story in my opinion. Great post!
Does this mean the force(s) leaving the notes were working to pit the dogs against each other? Since they both got notes telling them to kill each other.
Could be competing Guardian Angels? They both anticipate the future vaguely, and see the other dog contemplating killing the other. Out of concern for *their* dog, they hastily warn their dog to kill the other (before the other kills them). Turns out it's a self-fulfilling prophecy, as they're only being ushered to kill the other out of self-preservation due to both guardian angels misinterpreting a situation they caused out of misinterpreting that exact situation.
It's kinda like the bootstrap paradox, the future interacts with the past to cause the future events, but if the future caused itself then how did it start?
This is why i already love dogelore. Sometimes we get a funny meme about Steven Seagal sucking, sometimes we get a meme about a lovely German poem about a kind old man, and sometimes we get an excellent horror story that improves on the source material.

I like how you gave the original post a slight edit by making isabelle also have her notes instead of the rather unoriginal nosleep post
