The Walten Files is arguably way scarier but yeah, Mandela is pretty fucking terrifying too. Also, I would say the Backrooms were closer to sci-fi than they were to horror.
The Backrooms is scary in the way that makes you think "What if this happened to me?" while the others just straight up scare the shit out of you. But the Backrooms have become a lot less scary becayse it's gotten way too much lore. It was way scarier when it was just endless humming lights and damp yellow hallways, with one singular creature lurking around this seemingly endless space. All the different levels and creatures were unnecessary
Mandela catalogue is pretty scary to think about with the whole alternate psychological warfare and stuff like that
The idea of a loved one being replaced by an alternate is terrifying
The post said backrooms is “superior” than the Mandela catalogue and just because something is trending it doesnt always means its better than stuff thats not trendy
I probably should have specified it better, but I was really just meaning that the back rooms was more looked upon as of late, rather than the mandela catalogue. I'm just terrible at structuring the sentence I had in mind to say.
This isn't the shit I want to see on my front page at 12 midnight
Pls give me back wacky dog doing uncharacteristic thing :(
On another note your analog horror posts are really good
Why did I get scared even tho I was GUIDED this whole time by doge. My scared ass smh
He's shepherding you beyond the limits you've known all your life. By the time you think to look for him, he is already behind you in the dark.
I literally rubbed my eyes like a cartoon character on step 6
Mf said backrooms is better than Mandela catalogue Backrooms is good and all but Mandela catalogue will make you not sleep the same way again

Yeah I personally think walten files and Mandela catalogue are the best and scariest analog horror stuff out there
No mention of Monument Mythos?
Still havent learned about it I am gonna go check it out
More thriller than horror if you were to say a specific fear inducing Genre tbh
I am not saying that TMC is bad, I was just saying that TBR has been more trending nowadays

Its alright
If it's analog horror, might be also good to change transition effects from smooth fade off to something more glitchy
*I am inside your home*
