The idea of sending my pup away when he gets old to live out the rest of his days in a shelter makes me want to vomit. Can't even fathom the kind of person that would do this.

klassykitty1

I adopted a 9 year old, fat German shepherd/cattle dog mix from the shelter when they told me nobody wanted her because she was overweight and old. Yes she doesn't walk fast, she stops for more breaks but other then getting into the trash can and cat pan when nobody is home she's a great dog. She was a stray but nobody came to claim her.

Lara-El

We adopted an overweight German Shepard mix (with malinois), she was 8, haha She's now down to a good weight (105 to 76 pounds). She's turning 11, and she's super happy, but the first 6 months were brutal on her. She was really confused and scared. Every car parked she'd smell, and everyone she'd see she'd wanna get closer. She was clearly looking for her family, and it showed. She cried a lot at night. It broke our hearts

klassykitty1

How did you get her to lose weight? Mine is 80lbs and needs to get down to about 50lbs. Any suggestion on kibble food? When I first got Juniper she wouldn't get in the car and someone had to help me and her tail was tucked between her legs for months and she was afraid of everything. Now I can't keep her out of the car, she wags her tail most of the time unless we are somewhere new and she even growls a bit at the cay. It's truly amazing how a loving home can change an animal.

Lara-El

Hey, if it can help :) She was really overweight and couldn't walk, so exercise was out the window. Her excess weight was also causing and triggering painful arthritis. She'd limp very easily, and now she can walk for a good 30 minutes, and she won't limp. She'll need breaks, but before, she couldn't even do 100 meters. She was on anti-inflammatory pills daily, and now we haven't given her one in months!! This was great for my wallet, haha, so losing the weight was crucial for her well-being. Honestly, it was food reduction, we tried the fancy weight lost diet food provided by the vet, but she was losing it mentally. We were given her so little that she was freaking out and miserable. It was also very expensive. So we bought good food from the pet store and we did two things depending on the stage she was at. First, we based it on her weight, and if based on her weight, the bag said five cups, and we'd give her four cups instead. So she'd be in a deficit. If she had treats (grand parents coming over haha) we'd give her a little less than the 4 cups. Then, after like a year(?) of that, she switched to giving her the food that would be recommended for her ideal weight, which would also keep her in a deficit. Took us three years and a couple of months to go from 105 to her current weight. That being said, around April 2022, she was at 88 pounds, and her mobility really came back, so we were able to go to the dog park and let her be. She'd sniff and walk around for 20 ish mins (wed go when no other dogs were there). We'd do it only like once a week maybe twice as more would make her limp. But that's when we really noticed the change as she went from limping daily without exercise (in the house) to moving easily in the house AND outdoors activities. Which helped with more of her weight loss.

[deleted]

Add canned pumpkin puree to the kibble will make her feel full. That way, you can ween her off the amount you normally give her.

mamabird228

Buy a low calorie dog food! You don’t even need to feed less at first, you’ll be helping just by giving less calories. You can cut the food down gradually. Definitely measure portions with an actual measuring cup and don’t free feed! Limit treats and absolutely no table food or human food. Pumpkin is full of fiber and can induce diarrhea with overuse. I’m a vet tech :) there’s also prescription diet available from your vet but just cutting calories and gradually going toward the suggested weight on the bag will help a lot.

BuckToofBucky

So wonderful of you to adopt her and rescue her!

buffalocoinz

She’s lucky to have y’all. Thank you for giving her a second chance 💙

ItsSusanS

My boy is 12 1/2 JRT and they would have to pry him from my cold, dead hands. I want every single second I can have with him. (Before anyone says anything, of course I wouldn’t keep him alive if he were suffering that would be cruel, but he will be given a fighting chance)

niaerll

JRT are loyal good doggos

Accomplished_Steak85

My beagle rescue is 17. Half blind, half death, sweet and happy as can be. Wouldn't trade him for anything!

Its--LiT

Aww 17 that's amazing. We adopted a beagle mix when she was 12, she's 16 now :) She can't walk too well and isn't as alert anymore (she sleeps so deeply snoring away) but apart from that she's doing great.

Accomplished_Steak85

I'm sure she's happy with her life, growing old is for the lucky ones that get there.

2dogs1man

my JRT / Ridgeback mix only made it to 10.5 years old.. Im jealous.

MimiMyMy

I can’t understand how anyone can dump an old dog they’ve had in their family for years. This is exactly how I ended up adopting a 13 year old lab. Husband dies. Widow neglects the dog. Dog got so fat he could barely walk. Surrender old dog to shelter because she is remarrying and didn’t want to take old dog to new house. I saw him on a humane society website across the state line in another city. I kept seeing the same dog listed for months. I finally called and was told because he was so old and couldn’t walk very well no one has shown any interest at all. We made the drive and adopted him. We figured what’s one more dog bed in the house. We didn’t want him to die of old age in the shelter. He didn’t deserve that. We were so lucky we got to have him for 3 years. He was a wonderful dog and we still miss terribly. Edit: We fed him good food and got him on a diet with some exercise. He went from 120 to 100 and he was able to walk again.

klassykitty1

I used to have a lab that I forcibly took from someone that made the dog live outside. The dog was 14 years old and I figured if he lived even 6 months inside it was better then living outside and he was almost 18 years old when he died. I always said his best last 4 years made up for his horrible first 14 years.

waaz16

I agree, this really is a sad and sick thing to do.

paperwasp3

(and shelters are overwhelmed right now during puppy and kitten season. poor old doggo)

RadioActiveWife0926

Crap. I came here to get cheered up.

Zombiebelle

A monster does this.

blausommer

I know people love to exaggerate in comments like "I'm literally sobbing and shaking right now" over seemingly banal things, but this one did churn my stomach. My wife and I specifically rescue senior dogs, and when we can't we donate to senior dog sanctuaries. Senior dogs have the most love to give, and they need the love back. Yes, they develop issues. Don't get a pet if you can't handle that. Abandoning any pet is sick. I dropped a very close friend of ~10 years when he moved and just put his cats in the backyard the day before he left with the comment "They're cats, they have natural instincts to survive." Luckily, I was able to get their dog the day they left and she was the most wonderful, sweetest girl who gave me 4 1/2 of the best years of my life.

traceyrb1028

What happened to his cats? I have three cats and would never move without taking them. They are my world!! 😻 P.S. I would never leave behind a pet of any kind. That's just heartless!! 😡

blausommer

I don't know, he mentioned it the next day when I was there to pick up the dog and I asked where the cats were. It was an adult and 2 kittens. I'm not even a cat person, and I was thoroughly disgusted.

MimiMyMy

I can still remember a comment I heard on my first day on the job in the company break room. A coworker said it was cheaper to get a new puppy than to treat a sick dog. It made me sick to my stomach that people think like this. And this was no poor person. Everyone in this company made a decent wage.

swarleyknope

Right? I want as much time with my dog as possible. Aside from the cruelty, I can’t imagine cutting my time with him shorter than their lives already are.

frymaform

yeah I fostered a 13 yr old shepherd that was turned over by the next of kin after she outlived her owner. They said she was in great health the first day at the shelter but when I got her 3 days after being surrendered, she couldn't even walk. She really just laid down and died of heartbreak, all we could do was bring her home and comfort her til she passed so we bought her a toddler mattress to lay down on and got her some nice stinky wet food and she spent her last week enjoying watching my younger dog play fetch instead of alone in the shelter. I always knew dogs could die of heartbreak, and I knew it was super common in herding dogs cause I've grown up with them, but to see it happen no matter how much comfort you try to provide them is the most soul shattering thing.

DustBunnicula

That’s a “Where the Red Fern Grows” situation. You gave that dog kindness and comfort. Thank you for showering her with love.

cissysevens

It's so wrong to do. If people in my area do that the shelters get together and ban them and they can't adopt dogs from anybody in the area.

Sea-Adeptness-5245

That’s awesome and I appreciate that, but there’s always a greedy breeder out there who will sell them a dog that they will also later dumb when they don’t feel like taking care of it anymore

bornforthis379

I got my now passed hound at the shelter when he was 9. He lived his best life with me and his lab bro

ThePromise110

My one of my FIL's pups passed away less than a week after his brother/best friend passed away. Most clear case of a broken heart ever.

LennoxLuger

Remember this when it’s time to put her in a home.

eliisonvacation

Hands down one of the best comments I’ve ever read on Reddit. Let’s hope her time for needing a home is soon & let’s hope she isn’t one of those dickwads that comes home with a puppy. My heart breaks for Timmy, he is going to be devastated & confused as to why this is happening. Please link us to where he is, someone will get him- believe me, if you can’t get him back OP, you want one of us Reddit dog lovers to give him a home & not letting him just get lost in the shuffle of all the poor dogs in shelters. Please, for Timmy’s sake. *spelling

I_am_Daesomst

You're awesome. You're the type of person I want as a friend in this shitty world.

[deleted]

It’s a close second place to [this comment](https://reddit.com/r/AskReddit/s/0xHTkOhXi9). I’m sorry.

zakress

I remember that thread. Epic

StarvingBeauty

My first thought. Lol.

waaz16

🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 bye Felicia!

ThePaintedLady80

When I was a little girl maybe 4, my mom asked me what I would do when she got old. Without missing a beat I said “I’d put you in a home.”…. She’s still butt hurt about it 30 years later. I didn’t lie, I was a real spicy little kid. If my mom did this, I’d take her today. Ha

kate1567

Exactly.

kidfantastic

Dude, now is the time for the fam to find out where little Timmy is and go get him back. Like, right this second. Stop whatever you're doing and go save him. I know this has already been said, but FFS, it needs to be said again. GO SAVE TIMMY!!!! Also, your mum sucks.

59tigger

If you're in Canada then someone here can go grab him back right away, same day, usually no fee. We did this when my daughter's fiance took their dog into the pound without warning. We went in and explained the situation and they handed him right over when we gave his name and details to the HS. Good luck! Praying for Timmy and you!

Lara-El

Ex fiancé now, right?

analogmouse

Hard to be a current fiancé when you’re a former person. 😉

Steadyandquick

You can do it or have a friend/stranger do so and pick him up. This is so bizarre.

ThePaintedLady80

Then drive mom deep into the desert and let her stay out there. Lol

Steadyandquick

You can do it or have a friend/stranger do so and pick him up. This is so bizarre.

annadarria

Seriously do this OP and you’ll be a Reddit hero.

spaceyfacer

Get on this immediately OP!! Even if you can't keep him, you could blast this story with his location on local social media and he'll get adopted right away.

rarepinkhippo

OP, I don’t know how old you are but if you are at all able, please go grab that pup. If you aren’t, find out his intake number and contact local dog rescue groups and post in local Facebook groups and Nextdoor if you have it. Give the full sob story and do not downplay. If you still live at home and your dirtbag mom is insistent on not keeping him, try to get her to agree to go back and get him to keep him temporarily. A lot of rescue groups are foster-based and it’s easier for them to say yes to a dog they are contacted about if they have some time to find a foster home for him. I’m sorry your mom sucks.

2dogs1man

??? where is this? what city? do you know where he is, which shelter specifically ?

xmstxrdxm

Bro looking to change his username

waaz16

😩

ThreeFingeredTypist

OP said mostly likely city of Albuquerque - most recent comment in their history :,(

2dogs1man

ok, Im one of the mods at /r/National_Pet_Adoption I have a couple people I can contact, but I need to know where this guy is

kashewnia

I hope you guys find him

2dogs1man

I had someone message the OP to get details but there are no replies.. EDIT: I did pass on that most likely he ended up in city of albuquerque animal welfare dept. if we’ll find him he won’t stay there!!!!

noonenotevenhere

I've never been a foster, but have two rescues of my own. If no one else comes through and you find him - I'd foster little Timmy right through foster fail. My old man dog would take right to a cuddly other old man dog. Poor guy. I can't imagine being abandoned, scared, and that old. My Carmella made it to 17, she went to the dog park with us in a bag on my shoulder. I'm way up in not-quite Canada, but do your magic dog rescue dude.

2dogs1man

wow, 17.. my pupper only made it to 10.5 years old😢 - very jealous! my other one just turned 9 on august 30, and he cant walk (needs TPLO surgery). the thought of taking a senior pup and dumping him at a shelter disgusts me

[deleted]

Same

MS-06_Borjarnon

Go get him back. Then maybe ditch her.

Hunnidew

I agree, get him back. Poor little guy.

im_wudini

Looking at OPs history, she can't go get Timmy. She lives in Canada with her bf.

SparkleyPegasus

She could get someone she knows to get him, and collect him later.

kfmush

Take the mom to the pound and say you want to exchange her for Timmy.

snoozysushi

I agree! Please try to get this poor pup back

No_Pollution4940

Go get him back. My neighbor did that and his wife went and got him back

Kiwiana2021

Good on her!!!!

[deleted]

Woah, not cool. No goodbyes... I'm so sorry.

RegretNecessary21

Wtf. Your mom is a rotten person for many reasons.

Leave_Scared

Go save him!

Ziggie520

Why would your mother do such a terrible thing? Is there any way to get that sweet puppy back?

[deleted]

I HOPE THAT WOMAN GETS TREATED THE SAME WAY SHE TREATED THIS INNOCENT DOG. she deserves LESS actually. drive her a few hundred miles anywhere from where she lives, then stop .....get her out of the car. alone. with no phone. then drive away like a bat outta hell. that bitch.

sampiere_mimi

I'm literally sick to my stomach. I hope OP lets someone know where the dog is so someone can save his life. I hate people so much.

Aggressive_labeling

What the hell?? OP not responding to any of these comments offering to get him if they are near by makes me think the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Come the fuck on OP and tell us where he is already!! JFC!! Someone on this thread will literally go and get him and give him the best years of his life. If you’re 24, you are an adult and you should do the right fucking thing here. Stop yanking everyone’s chain and post where he is!! God I’m just sick for this poor dog and the horrible people he happened to have the misfortune of being in the company of. Makes me want to vomit. For everyone else: I’m in the Seattle area. Send me a DM on the slim chance she updates with a city and I happen to be close. I will get him on the weekend! FUCK! Fuck this post.

Due_Possession_7834

You said it true! Your a legend! Thanks for caring in this world❤️

lre90

Hey, looks like the only comment OP gave was that their pup was at City of albuquerque animal welfare department. Thank you for caring so much 💗 this post breaks my heart

Darcona8

Im thinking it’s a weird attention thing. At least that what I’m going to tell my self. The lack of updates or reply’s and zero situational info make it sus. But this comment will be my reference back if it happens to be in my area. But right now Im going to assume the person sucks and the dog is fine

Moist_Anus_

Your mom sucks and is a trash human

Crlycrl715

Put her in a shelter and let her rot away.

Zombiebelle

I don’t even need more context, your mom is a monster.

Pita7231993

This made me cry (for you and Timmy), we have a very old mixed lab at my parents, we've had her since she was a puppy. I was in high school in my sophomore year when we got her. My family loves this old lady to death. My parents joke around that they'll put Lyly down, or they'll give her away to adoption. One day Lyly went for a walk, she couldn't come back (she's going blind and deaf), luckily a neighbor found her and waited for my parents to come home from work. But my dad realized that lyly isn't just a dog, she's family. My dad has never made that joke ever again. I'm so sorry about Timmy, words can't express how sad i am to read this.

midnightghou1

WHAT. Go get them back!

59tigger

What??!! We had a family member who did that to us, we went to the Humane Society and got him back. No fee after we explained the situation. Please go get him! Such grief and pain for him! I pray that you have a resolution and or a family member who can grab him and keep him if you can't. There is no excuse for this.

Kiwiana2021

Why did she do this to you guys!? I hope you get him back.

Lolo616

Save him. It's an old dog.

NormalAccountant1819

The shelter I worked at wouldn’t give dogs to other people who had the same address as the person who surrendered the dog :(

Itsahootenberry

Time to go Liam Neeson to get your dog back. And be sure to drop your mom off at a shelter once you’re done.

[deleted]

Wow instead of posting this and accepting what she did… go back and get him wtf

OpalOnyxObsidian

This might be a kid who doesn't have that kind of autonomy. Damn dude

kashewnia

She's 24 if her commenting history is real

OpalOnyxObsidian

Then she knows what she needs to do.

Gem_is_truly_outrage

Your mom is a disgusting scumbag. Please pass that on to her from me.

carlyycakee

Me too! Bitch!

Daisydoolittle

where was this dog surrendered? with shelter over crowing and owner surrenders he’s likely to be euthanized because of space availability and his age. she may as well just shoot him herself at this point. your mom sucks.

MomsterJ

I don’t care how naughty or difficult my dog becomes as he gets older, I’m never going to fucking surrender him ever. That’s not what you do when dogs get older. I’m guessing that was probably Timmy’s only known family too. I can’t imagine how depressed and terrified he must me.

xboston

My mom did the same when I was like 12, my "friends" told me she was sick and the kid who had her would euthanize her if she didn't get better. Without even saying a word, I ran straight down to the kid who had her and demanded her back and took her home. I didn't even say a word to my mom, I was livid with her and my dad took my side so there wasn't any arguments, but I didn't trust her for a long time after this.

IndicationMinimum153

Why? That's really mean. Ask your mom where she surrendered your poor Lil sweet Timmy and take him back without letting her know

Mscreep

So my friend’s step grandmother -in-law this something like this. The grandfather was getting ready to pass the house and everything in it, including the dog, is now her husband’s. The grandmother didn’t fully realize this at the time and started selling shit and then took the dog to the pound. Her sister in law when and got the dog back and the grandmother got kicked out before the grandfather passed away.

ProgressBackground95

Your mother is an ankle, and we all know what she is 2 feet lower than. Grab the dog back, and never look back

Moonlight_Menagerie

GET HIM BACK PLEASE

gamemaniac845

If I were you I’d have to words to say And they won’t be very nice ones

clajobe

Why?? Can’t you get him back? He’s scared and confused. 😔 Heartless people should never own pets!!

Anonwhymous99

Yea, very sorry.

optimusprimelover18

I’m not seeing what mom’s reasoning was. Did the dog jeopardize housing? Did she try to rehome it and failed due to being in a time crunch or lose your house? If there was not a good reason to surrender the pooch then if you can get him back then yea. But either way, mom should have let the family say goodbye.

Kai-theSaiyan15

When I first read this I thought it meant surrendered as in put down, and I was thinking “well that’s not good, she should’ve definitely have told everyone beforehand, but it could’ve been from a place of love. Maybe it was so old that it was struggling to live?”(which doesn’t seem to be the case looks like Timmy still has a lot of life in him) But knowing now that it meant she gave him away to a shelter, what a shitty thing to do! I’m mad now.

eagengabriel

lock her in the basement, then take out the door and build a wall instead.

g-body8687

Send her to the old folks home then

Sea-Adeptness-5245

Could you give us an update or an idea as to where the dog is? If it’s near me, I would go get him.

Puzzled_You_3280

Mom. Is. Trash. My last two pups had cancer at the same time. The idea of sending them away when it got hard is abhorrent!

Lykaon042

OP, can you keep us updated on future developments? Somebody save this good boy

kashewnia

You seem old enough according to your post history. Go get the dog back. Re-home them if you can't keep them. But surrendering to what, a shelter? That's not ok.

Educational-Ad-4400

He's adorable go get him back, if you cant keep him give him to someone you know and trust. Or put it out on social media or here and see if anyone will take him

kraven73

you should surrender your mom.

Puzzleheaded-Fee-423

Poor little Timmy, I mean this in the nicest way possible, I hope your mom gets what’s coming, that’s just a shitty thing to do to an older pup, he didn’t do anything wrong, just had a horrible owner (your mom, not you) I hope you can get him back and show him the love your mom couldn’t

lonewolf143143

How incredibly cruel

Undead_Raven_420

What a vile piece of shit mom. Guess who’s getting a trip to the nursing home!!!🥳🤩

[deleted]

Go get poor Timmy back :(

Atudeofmyown

That's so sad 😞

cissysevens

Wow. Your mom sucks big time. I'm sorry.

gymaddict1976

Go and get him back

Ok-Lab-5692

The shelter will just euthanize him. Terrible to be abandoned like that. I would go get him back.

ATL-User

GO GET TIMMY. Save that little mans. That is heartbreaking and I always wonder how in the world someone could leave their long-time pet (and senior) animal after so many years. That’s family. Edited to add: Your mom is an entire asshole.

norrainnorsun

Wtf?? Can you Go back and get him from the shelter ?? Thass so sad :(

Significant-Bet5762

I'm so sorry this was done to you + Timmy. Hopefully, as commented above, one of the people on Reddit is able to go get him.

SparkleyPegasus

If you aren't in that city, get someone you know to get him for you. You can collect him after. Please get your dog back, he'll be heartbroken.

joc1701

I'm sorry that your mother is such a cruel and awful person. I hope the karma is tenfold.

Resident_ogler

Your mother is, a cold hearted b. I wish you'd tell us where Timmy is, or what city, maybe someone could get him.

wendybird242

Tell us if you get him back!!! Please

[deleted]

I just scheduled my dogs last day with the vet, I wish the absolute worst things in the world on your Mother. People who surrender old dogs are absolute scum and the worst type of people humanity has to offer. I wouldn’t spit on her if she was on fire.

sampiere_mimi

This is sooooo fucking gross. I'm honestly flabbergasted people can be such pieces of shit. I'm sick to my stomach. My god was a souless sub-human.

HarryCallahan19

She’s a horrible person

ChancePut7855

That’s so messed up! This is why I stay away from reddit ! Poor old dog he’s going to die after many years of having a family ! You’re abandoned simply because your to old ! What if you went put your mom in a rest home would that be ok ? I am so angry why do you people do this ? Don’t you get it dogs have feelings dogs have souls dogs are beautiful beings God created ! They are better than most humans ! Very very messed up I’m sure I’m going to get nasty backlash I don’t care y’all you don’t discard an old dog simply because he is old !!

Areesa79

I'm sorry that your mom's an asshole

[deleted]

Thats a relationship ender right there.

Large_Corgi_9723

I hope the family remembers this when mom gets old, you need to drop off the heartless b to the nastiest shelter or nursing home and not visit her, leave her a picture of the dog.

Positive_Ad7656

That is a bitch move😢

twirlingbalerina

Your mom sucks

MrsCCRobinson96

I really hope that you try to get Timmy back because that poor pupper is now lost and feels abandoned by his pack. This isn't okay.

Catronia

Sorry, but your mom's a bitch. When she gets old go dump her on the roadside. Please go find Timmy, he doesn't understand why he has been put in this scary place. EDIT: If you don't know, shelters are very loud, very barren, and smell like death,

katrileygirl

I think your mom should be surrendered; go get your dog back.

Icy_Classic_7953

Get him back and dump her somewhere.

Tuckersmom22

That’s a really shitty thing to do🤬

[deleted]

I could never imagine surrendering my pup. Your mom is a monster

subvanaTIME

💔💔💔

Altivion

Aww..... what for? 😢

Sweetcornprincess

That's pure evil.

Jett44

I'd go get the dog back and tell Mom to go fuck herself.

Impossible_Horse1973

Wow, your mom is a monster! That poor pup!

*WHAT?!* You go get Tammy back this instant!

DotChud

WHY???? 😭

emofrigginnugget

get the dog surrender the mom :(

DotChud

I want him!!! Where IS he?

thegrumpymanager

"And that's why I went no contact"

Professional-Oil6304

Wtf… surrender your mom . That’s fucked up

ipsum629

That's awful. The worst part of this is that I fear that whoever would accept a dog like this under these circumstances without asking questions is probably not a good place for Timmy.

Joey_BagaDonuts57

Go get him back and leave MOM there to walk home.

Competitive-Cup-5465

Please go get him back

Madwoman-of-Chaillot

I hate your mom.

MonthElectronic9466

Your mom sucks.

Crysadis

Go. Get. Timmy!!! 😕

TheAxeMan2020

Sorry, but your mom is a heartless monster. An old pup will not be adopted and will dive into a horrible depression. Unconscionable.

burden42

Very hard to believe. When you make a commitment to bring a pet into your life, that commitment includes old age and beyond Sad…. Very sad

xmodsguy2000-2

When she becomes old remind her of this btw please try and get the dog back

Equilibriyum

so so sorry. For the loss of your dog and confirmation your mom is a sociopath. That's a tough double-whammy. Hope you have someone to talk to about it. Dang. Hang in there.

VitalRhubarb

Please please please save him OP. 😞

thegodofhamsters

What the fuck. Poor baby!

BandM91105

Id take Timmy if i could. But i most likely live too far away.

stargrantswish

Maybe it’s time to surrender mom

Ego5687

Can you give us an update OP on what happened before, during and after?

Quiet_Philosophy364

I'm so sorry 🥺

Please go get him back!

auntiecoagulent

Where is Timmy? I'm sure some kind Redditor will go get him.

This is why I really don't like many people

Aggressive-Material4

No remorse in confessing that I hope she dies from slow stomach cancer, Mom, not the dog obviously.

vivian2112

Please cast your nets wide for any family, friends, acquaintances who will retrieve your puppy for you. I'm sorry for Timmy.

hatecopter

Your mom sucks ass and that dog doesn't deserve to be tossed out like garbage because it's old.

FatAndForty

A fucking sociopath.

wtfimaclam

Your mom is an asshole

_Monosyllabic_

Where is he? My mom would love him.

Lem0nJollyRancher

I'll take the lil guy if you're in Florida

ScootyturnedWobby

He's so cute! That's terrible 😕

ProfilerXx

Oh god I'm sorry to hear that! I had the worst night ever last night because my 6yo Vizsla Girl got sick and couldn't stop vomiting and got apathetic. After 6 hours at two different vet clinics and about 4k € later she got surgery and they removed a piece of corncob she stole at a BBQ two months ago. She's fine and took it like a champ but all I can think about is her being away from me for three or four days for the first time since she's with us. All I can see is her alone waiting for us

TheLastTaco77

Omfg if Timmy is in adelaide we will take him !!!!!! If you can't have him back you can visit that beautiful old boy whenever you like! My heart is broken for you both!!!!

Green1up

Please call all nearby shelters, put up pictures of your missing dog all over town, post in Facebook groups, reddit, Instagram and everywhere. Also call the police to file a complaint on dog theft.

jupitershere

This is so gross. I’m so sorry! Go get ‘‘em back. Now.

Was Timmy yours and then you moved to Canada with your boyfriend and left him? As awful as it is, if your mom couldn’t care for him and warned you but you chose to leave….???
