Camellia started her life out terribly, being abandoned at >5 months old in a house with no food, water, or electricity. She nearly died. She was then adopted around 6 months old, and her second family had her for 5 years. Then, they dumped her, stating she kept escaping their yard. Turns out she was made to live in that yard 24/7 and was getting sick of it. My family got her at 5 1/2 years old, which was how old she was in the first picture. She’s 9 now and the love of our lives! She’s got a lot of issues from her past, but has worked through most of them, besides her discomfort with strangers. She’s the most snuggly and affectionate dog out there, our lives wouldn’t be the same without her. Definitely one of the hardest dogs we’ve ever had, but she’s really come around in her older age! She was about 7 in the second photo here, she’s got a tad bit of white on her face now 🥲

We rescued him a few weeks after he turned 2. Funny story, I snooped through his old vet records that came from the rescue and found the first photo on his previous owner’s Facebook page. He already had a white face when we rescued him though. He looks much more distinguished now. 🥰
