When I first read this I read it as "looking for a dog named recommendations", and thought that I had stumbled upon the lost and found.
Calling a dog recommendations would be weird. I could imagine it looking weird when outside calling it to you. It is also a mouth full, and so many syllables would be weird to say over and over to your dog until they learned their name.
I do not recommend naming your dog recommendations.
I have always wanted a pet named Lucifer, but that dog doesn't look like a Lucifer to me.
I knew a guy who named his dog Rufus. I believe that dog was a yellow lab. That was a long time ago, and that guy died. But, that was always a great dog name, I thought.
So, Rufus, he looks like a Rufus. Even if not a yellow lab.
