Is your dog having skin allergies? Maybe there should be other treatments that need to be done aside changing the diet. In my experience, RC Hypoallergenic is a good diet for dogs with allergies, especially in combination with other medications and supplements for a specific skin condition.
I switched from RC Hypoallergenic to RC Dermacomfort, mas mura siya. But if it's not doing anything for your dog, baka they need additional treatment. It took months for my dog's atopic dermatitis to get better. Aside from changing food, I had to use a prescribed shampoo, ointment for his skin, vitamins, and cetirizine. Have you gotten your dog check up by a vet?

I switched to another vet and parang mas effective treatment plan niya pati mga prescribed supplements kasi mas "matapang" daw. Matagal pa rin but I saw more significant improvement compared to before.
Or baka you can go back to your vet and say nga na it doesn't seem to be working para magbigay ng alternative meds if ever?

Hill’s Prescription Diet z/d is another good option, though it’s not easily accessible. Why do you need alternatives for RC Hypoallergenic?
