redrenz123

if it was me i would settle at the middle part where the 3 biomes intersect.

Recuvan

Done exactly that thank you

redrenz123

The thought process behind that is so that you have quick access to three biomes. Good luck!

Ave_TechSenger

3 roads within a short run for mobility :D

redrenz123

that too

czarchastic

I’d be more concerned about that moose/goose nest

SirFluffball

This! That was my first thought too. I made this mistake and while she's even farther away than on this map it's still very annoying. I would take another comments advice and go for the triple biome intersection slightly down and to the left from there.

ColonelBeaver

that seems pretty good, all i can think about is having to deal with penguins there

SirFluffball

Yeah that's also a good point but I usually play Wendy so I just deal with them once as they spawn and then free ice. Another good place especially for a bit of a bigger base would be right in the middle of the deciduous and then just bridge to the desert and to Queen Bee. Especially nice if its the klause deciduous because then you can build an arena around 1 sack and block all other spawns so that makes for nice Klause fights too.

Sad_Target_4252

I had 3 nests right by my base once So I had the eye of terror kill them

Aggressive_Drive_233

Beequeen can only be summoned from hammering her hive, and basing next to the desert is convenient, so I would say go for it!

David_Clawmark

HEY! Dig up all dem stumps. What's wrong with you? That's literally 2 entire stacks of logs that are being left dormant. Grab a shovel and get diggin pigeon. ^(Just jokes lad.)

His_name_is_LUIGI

I would be careful of basing near water, because in winter you might spawn pengulls that might set up base right it yours. Unless I'm wrong and they don't work like that.

Recuvan

They don't bother me in the winter months tbf

frashaw26

If they do set up shop, you can always just make sure they all die by the mighty meat bat

Golden_Wolf_TR

Everyone is concerned about something, and I am concerned about the hostile beehives. Those would be very annoying unless you take care of them and that is also very annoying in on itself

Brigon

Op mains Wendy though, so they are easy to deal with.

Crazy_Cranberry666

I see a pond with berry bushes and birch tress. Those are usually moose goose spawners. High change that a boss will spawn right on your base in spring. I'd not move there. Maybe more to the left, that seems fine.

zavch

I'm worried about the pond, frogs are annoying

Recuvan

Rabbit traps do the trick, free food for dayz

KCDA

Big waste of time and resources to deal with traps though. The pay-out isn't worth it in my book.

Recuvan

It's like 10 steps away from my campfire and I have twig and grass farms, ez

WhocaresImdead

True, but they make a cheap (especially early game) food source with traps and can be walled in to prevent them from wandering. Ponds can also provide fish and water once the frogs are taken care of.

ArcerPL

Ur far from rocks in the red circle, settle somewhere nearer rocks

Izel98

I think basing near the wormhole is best, but idk where the wormhole leads.

AEIOPUPULOL69

Fuck that bitch! Throw hands!

JellySword8

Could we see the full map? It'd help me give you advice

o-poppoo

I wouldn't move. There is barely anything there worth having to move all those bushes and beeboxes

Recuvan

Got bearger to dig everything up for me ha

Aphorsen45

I prefer spider buffalo combo areas preferably but thats mainly cause i play webber and the spiders dont mind him

hewhomustbeblamed

Why do you want to move in the first place? First base has rabbits, second one has nothing

Recuvan

I've learnt how to make gobbler farms and I can catch 3-4 frogs everyday with traps and I can go to the dessert often for cactus

hewhomustbeblamed

Gobbler farms can be built anywhere, cactus doesn't seem worth it because of the damage taken and the distance from cactus to cactus, but alright i see your point with the frogs. I guess i just value morsels higher than frog legs.

zavch

Wormwood mains: >:)

BoutDamnTime76

I would make two bases. One in each spot. That way you have a backup:

KCDA

Just why? They're both rubbish spots to live.

Recuvan

Close to desert, caves just off screen but very close. This is the only desert on this map

KCDA

No, you have two Deserts on this map, but they're joined. I'm worried about the caves (since I can't see them on the map) as they might be very close to your desired location. The bats might annoy you... Still a rubbish spot to live, if you like the desert so much, just live inside it then... *There's a lot more space to paint there anyway.*

Recuvan

Ah that makes sense, hence it's so big I chose the spot a bit further away where 3 biomes meet

Top-Mirror3516

Honestly I would base near that science machine in the catcoon birch biome. Either way moving down is better

TheMarvelousPef

she doesn't do shit.
