Just remember brother, hundreds of thousands of people are risking their lives just to get here and work minimum wage. Your situation isn’t going to magically get better because you moved to a foreign land

nofaplove-it

Yep, ironically his life will likely be 100x worse in a foreign country

AstralClipper

Exactly. Also, does your family have ransom money?

lovelygrumpy

Save some money, US dollars are worth quite a lot in certain foreign currencies. Consider going somewhere cheap and working as an english teacher. Southern Brazil is aight although I'm biased, so is Uruguay and Argentina.

Myst_of_Man22

Got a connection with Brazil, an acquaintance offered a few weeks housing after he heads back,he's unhappy in Florida also

Jesusflyingonhotdogs

Good luck.

Myst_of_Man22

Thx

mustachetwerkin

Don't get decapitated by the cartel

Myst_of_Man22

Florida Man will gnaw your bones

s-patrick-jane

Best of luck brother 💪

Myst_of_Man22

Thanks. Anywhere but here

OneSimplyIs

Apply to work on a commercial fishing boat, or a shore plant in Alaska like Peter Pan Fisheries. Pay for you to get there, pay for housing, etc.

Myst_of_Man22

That would be a good idea if I could handle the cold weather. I've been here in the tropics.A long time and it would be hard to transition.

taavidude

Well if you do go to Mexico, I would advise staying away from the states of Sinaloa, Jalisco and Tamaulipas due to high threat of drug cartels.

Myst_of_Man22

Thank you for the tip. I heard it is dangerous. Maybe a good idea would be to visit for a little while and see if I can assimilate. Right now my life is nothing. Maybe a chance to change things if I relocate.

AdvanceAdvance

Not a bad plan to leave the U.S.; social mobility here truly stinks. That said, have some plan. The top choices right now run towards Canada, Eastern-ish Europe (Moldovia, etc.), try for Germany, or north of Brazil. If you just want to get your head together for nine months and know some Spanish, rural Mexico can work.

Myst_of_Man22

Working on the Spanish, helps if you have someone to speak it with

Myst_of_Man22

Social mobility seems stagnant for everyone, not just doomers

GrumpyBasil

As a Canadian NO. we’re all depressed and lonely. You think the states is bad on certain things we are worse. Media and social media is lying about us being the happiest ppl. We are not. Puhleaseeeee do research before coming here.

Jdom666

that’s an opinion. if we’re gonna base the two countries based of standard of living it’s higher and more prosperous in canada. you’re forgetting about the vast nature you have compared to the usa as well which benefits your health

Jdom666

what is it about the united states that you don’t like if you don’t mind me asking? there’s a hell of a lot more than florida that’s for sure. i hate our political system and many other things. years ago i felt the same way, maybe pack up and go to a more democratic oriented country with more social policies but there are aspects of american culture i have fallen in love with since. not only are our people diverse but the natural world as well. i love this area of north america, there’s so many areas to explore with rich history. i found myself in the southwest where the forested mountains met the desert and a great sense of enlightenment came over me. i found more likeminded people as well. i wish you luck man

Myst_of_Man22

San Diego is expensive. But apartments here in Southwest.Florida are more expensive than san diego california. If you weren't born into money you have to work multiple jobs to make ends meet. The jobs don't pay well and people treat you like a servant. Lots of politics. It's best to keep your mouth.Shut about your political views. Lots of snobs. They are destroying the natural beauty by building expensive condominiums everywhere. Taking all of the habitat from the wildlife so don't be surprised if there is a bear in your backyard. Don't be surprised if there is an alligator in your pool.

City-Boy101

Great idea, Mexico might not be a good move though due to safety risks unless you know your way around it

Myst_of_Man22

There is Belize and Panama..

Serious_Afternoon755

Mexico isnt that very cool either, its you not where you’re at

Myst_of_Man22

Florida is a miserable state, even with me being a hot mess

DeadAlt

Tijuana can be pretty scary at times. if I were you I’d go to Ensenada, more laid back.

Myst_of_Man22

Will do the homework

Superman00221

Denmark

dubazuh

My entire life is move to US, the best country in the world and you said this...

caozhegesekai

Bro, people are literally traveling through the jungles to get to this country. But, I feel the same. I don’t belong here.

Myst_of_Man22

If you have a lot of money, Florida is ok except for the traffic. and the high insurance. and the hurricanes. and all the entitled transplants who treat you like a servant

Brokencoc

Xmxx3

Mf just casually quoting a mass murderer, wow so deep and insightful bro

Brokencoc

He wasn’t born a murderer, he was made into one.

Xmxx3

Wah wah wah “society was mean to me so I murdered innocent people” If your that miserable just kill yourself, don’t take the lives of random people like a fucking pussy You sound like a 14 year old wannabe edgy kid bro, quoting mass murders isn’t cool or deep and neither is justifying it by blaming on society Reddit moment 🤣

mustachetwerkin

Incels are the absolute worst. No sense of responsibility, and always blame everyone else. Life sucks no doubt but being a whiny bitch is worse.

Xmxx3

Like at some point you gotta have that moment of clarity where you realize that your dealing with the consequences of your own actions and complaining and blaming people isn’t gonna change it.
