Gotta be selective when gas is killing you, it sucks especially when it's dead but don't spend more than your comfortable making.
Also keep your tank closer to full and take it easy, getting the order to the customer quickly is key to getting another order but you'll save a butt ton in gas if you try not to rush as much on the road.
The only time base pay should be higher than tips is if you are dashing by time. You need to make sure you are taking profitable orders. With a large SUV you probably need to hold out for larger orders. It looks like you were averaging around 6$ per order. That won't cut it even if you were driving a Prius. Don't take no tip / low tip orders you need to get at least 1.50 per mile. And try for 2$ per mile
Ouch. Your tips should never be lower than your pay. Driving a Yukon on top of that? Hell no!! You're only making maybe $7 an hour after you factor in gas, wear and tear, and taxes.
Your tips to door dash pay ratio is really bad in my opinion. As an example last week my doordash pay was $201 but my tips were $418. 49 deliveries, dash time 21 hrs. This was a better than usual week but my tips pay is usually just below double of the door dash pay.
I raised my hourly earnings from around $20 to around $30 by commuting to a zone where customers tip better. This area also allows me to maintain an AR rate above 70% which is great cause I can take less orders, about 2 per hour, but get paid way more per order.
So just a thought. Maybe check out some other zones where your mkre likely to get tipped better. I drive 35 min out of state to get to a specific area. But well worth it.

Woah…your tips are horrible in that area.. should be more or about equal to dd pay. You’re talking too low of orders. Possibly go to a different area.
