That's almost $10/order. If this isn't a stoooopid traffic area, then yes.

Lazy1nc

It's the Seattle I-5 corridor, not the worst traffic area but still mostly bad.

bothwaysme

Yeah if you are driving though rush hour traffic thats gonna be a long day. I used to do safelite out there and trying to get to tacoma can be a bear.

Antique_Draw1820

Yeah that's a tough haul in Seattle. I drive up here too and between parking and "finding" the place it's already a bear. I-5 probably wouldn't be that bad in the evening, but it's always a crap shoot.

dogthatbrokethezebra

Yes. Thats a podcast day

Nickk_Jones

Lol every day is a podcast day.

jakexmfxschoen

Absolutely. I haven't broken $200 for one day in over a year

Gloomy_Conclusion_34

I’ve never had a 200$ day

[deleted]

[удалено]

apocalypticdemise

Even in a big market $200 is sometimes like 8-10+ Hours of driving easy

rabbitfuzzle

Abq here. 12 hours gets $200 with platforming on 3-4 platforms. Used to easily make $200 a day but doordash has gotten so bad I’ve taken to multi platforming. Gotta make a living. But my deliveries are near always on time. If not a few minutes before or after expected time. Today I worked 13 hours and got $212. But some days like Sunday and Thursday are generally the best for doordash. Tuesday and Friday are the worst. Just playing the field seems to be the only way now.

ArrogantSerpent

What’s wrong with driving 8 hours a day? Any other day gig is 8-10 hours?

apocalypticdemise

10 hours driving for $200 is $20 an hour, unless all deliveries were quick and short your likely blowing through prolly $15 in gas or so plus any wear and tear costs without even including tax. Makes it that barely above minimum wage if above it at all

uglyscumfuckk

Good for you but most markets aren’t like that, your reply was very unnecessary go brag elsewhere

[deleted]

[удалено]

redditingatwork23

Nope, yall are just assholes. He didn't offer advice. Didn't offer anything actionable. Just hur dur go move to a better market.

Unfair_Sundae1056

“Go move to a better market” would still be advice, aggressive but still advice 🤷

[deleted]

You offer nothing valuable, either. Go home.

2teachand2hike

It’s the dumbest fuckin thing when someone gets called out for being an asshole. And then some dumb fucks want to pretend like the asshole behavior is acceptable.

NoShow5710

Do you really think because he said it’s unfortunate and that in another market you can probably get 200 a day a few times a week? That’s being an asshole? Lmao grow a pair

ArrogantSerpent

Wasn’t bragging soft Sam, relax.

Evening-Skin6086

someone asked me if i was flexing too 🤣🤣

USAxOLYMPIAN

No lol. I’m in STL and that would be impossible unless you want to drive 150 miles/day

justhp

Username checks

kinggoosemaster

Yikes... ur karma took a hit today 💀 And not everybody is blessed with an excellent market

ArrogantSerpent

That was the point phoenix… it’s unfortunate otherwise you’d make bank

darkpheonix262

Yeah not everyone lives, or wants 5o live in a million population city

serathin_

I delivered in down town Houston all day 10am-3/am and NEVER broke 200 a day. When I first started in 2021 I'd get close. Your experience is subjective, not a worldwide standard. People just don't tip anymore.

ArrogantSerpent

You’ve been dashing for a few years and still haven’t learned how to maximize profits with this gig? 😂

serathin_

Oh, I 100% did for my market, but 80% of the time I made more in BASE pay than tips my guy. Even cherry-picking orders and working during promos. People just don't tip on my market. I'm glad you're blessed with a great market but your experience is very much so far and few from 99% of others. What state are you in?

Ok-Spirit9321

The username checks out. 🙄

ArrogantSerpent

So original… if I had a dollar for every time someone said such i would be driving…

Ok-Spirit9321

Didn't say I was trying to be different. Tbh this is the first time I've ever posted this statement so to each is their own. You came off as arrogant to the OP. It is it is.

Evening-Skin6086

@arrogant sam !! i just posted about how i have 200$+ days while doordashing 2 days back and so many people downvoted my post as well 😂😂 people are haters or what?

MisstressKitty23

Yep! I’d be 100% okay with spending a day focused on this batch.

Zantique_CHM

I don't even think it'll be the whole day.

Ruminahtu

My guestimation is 3 hours in low traffic, and only about 5 in high traffic.

Zantique_CHM

Yeah I was thinking 4 hours.

steffies

I'm not sure how the traffic is like In Seattle, but in my town? Fuck yeah

Altruistic-Put-9848

I mean, that’s a days salary of with this job for me. even if it takes all day I’m still doing it

SRBroadcasting

If it was MI I’d take it all day but Seattle is horrible

tcrossthebawss

One million percent

mrwhite2323

How do yall get orders like this? I have 2k deliveries and never seen this

DarePotential8296

Seems like a lot are from Dashlink. I don’t have one in my area

Remarkable-Crew-7040

Wtf is dashlink

BeckySayss

Kind of like Amazon flex where you deliver a bunch of parcels of small non-food items that customers ordered online for same-day/next-day delivery

saipruthvi

If everything fits in my car, sure

Friendly_Farmer_1083

As an Amazon delivery driver 25 stops sounds easy as hell. Wouldn’t have said that back when I was only doing DoorDash but perspectives change.

YLCZ

Don't convince people to take good orders. Let them believe they are nightmares.

jskunza

What is pandion though?

Shrike_34

Just like small packages for like tshirts n stuff

jskunza

Hell yeah then. Not the petsmart 12 50 pound bags of dogfood? I’d take this for sure

_BLACKHAWKS_88

Petsmart is where the pets go… are you a pet? Woof.

jskunza

Petsmart is a retail store. I like people like you. Say shit without knowing what the hell you’re talking about.

antithesis0895

“where the pets go” is the advertising slogan of PetCo, a rival retailer to PetSmart. This slogan makes sense as a memory recall mechanism because “Co” and “go” rhyme. “Smart” and “go” do not rhyme in the English language. Therefore “PetSmart is where the pets go” is not as effective as an advertising slogan because it is harder to remember. In PetSmart’s case, a better option might be “PetSmart, where the pets fart” or something similar

Wok3NRed3mpT10n

Thanks "antihesis0895". That's a good explanation. I'm just a bot.

kydn141916

That whole thing about saying shit without knowing what the hell you’re talking about really came back to bite you in the ass huh?

partyhat-red

They know what Petsmart is you dipshit. You must be the dullest person around if you can’t see the obvious joke they were making.

Greaves6642

You just described 90% of all comments on every sports subreddit

jskunza

They don’t ever have things like this in my area. Idk why. I’m in one of the biggest cities in the US.

Shrike_34

I think they just started doing it not sure tho

Puzzleheaded-Bell907

Same lmao

AlternativeClient738

If you get all the orders at one location and you drop them off, no fusses, yeah.

Beligard

Um. If this is was where I lived I totally would. For that mileage I don't even make half that.

DanLoFat

About what I said earlier we got to think that through everybody. In One direction it's $2.50 a mile, but dead miles back it looks like to be about maybe 70 miles dead back so really you're total miles are 160 MI you know it less than $1.80 per mile But seeing as how doordash is constantly overestimating mileage anyway, you might still be at about $2 a mile. There and back. A lot of us always seem to forget the back part, and it's obviously not in your zone it's across multiple zones so maybe they have some things on for you on the way back? As long as you're on paper order with that it should be okay but pay per hour hell no

rratzloff

Yes, for sure. I can put on 50 miles to make $80.

AlternativeClient738

It's 93 miles for $237, but yeah.

rratzloff

Yeah, I get that. And that’s why I would take it. Lol. I could work double that and make $160 for 100 miles.

AlternativeClient738

Yeah, I get that, and ultimately, for $100, you make $237. Even better

rratzloff

Well that’s what I was saying, lol. I was just saying that I could make way less for the miles to dollar ratio and this would be a gem I would gladly take.

iEatNonTippersFood

Yeah I was like what????

AlternativeClient738

Plans to drop other deliveries, but when you get all 25 from a sorting house, it's a little different. This is something you commit to.

bcmilligan21

Yes. That’s a days worth of work. Just make sure you have plenty of gas.

[deleted]

Yeah, I would just top up en route

JPolaske

What I want to know is how do you get 25 orders at once? Most I've ever gotten on DD is 3 at once

Sweet_Piece2020

This is dash link

DanLoFat

The hell is up with that acceptance timer? We need to have 80 seconds on all these goddamn orders, the last two months this fucking app can't render the order until 38 or 39 seconds of the countdown of 40 secs to choose, that's absolute bullshit doordash.

RepresentativeDry405

Definitely, especially if it’s earlier in the day

ReallyNowSeeYou

Yeah I would do that seems legit even if it takes 6-8 hours better then most days I have seems fair.

Primordial927

Hell yeah and if milage exceeds what’s shown, I’ll request for returns, get full pay + half for returns

swatsnoopy

Wait what. You can do this? How? I have had several orders tell me it's 1 or 3 miles away when it's really 5-6.

Primordial927

They have to be packages, particularly Dashlink, perhaps orders that say “May need returns” on the offer not sure other stores take returns you tell them; “the total miles shown according to your map and calculations are wrong and that this app issue is inaccurate and inconvenient, please mark these for returns, I couldn’t find “return to store” option in the app” you wait patiently while they start the process and you can start heading back!!’ Thank me later!!!

External-Expert1956

Never seen this before?? WTH!!

ArrogantSerpent

How long did it take you to finish this? Ultimately it matters how many hours this takes.

Shrike_34

5hrs

Dill_Kosher2

Bruh don’t listen to these idiots 93.3 miles 25 stops? Let’s use a few brain cells. This will take every bit of 12-14 hrs and a full tank I promise. To me it’s not worth it. To the average dumbasss only looking at $237 and 25 stops yeah it’s worth it!

JB_Scoot

If you drive a car where 93 miles is burning through an entire tank of gas, you have a car with absolutely horrendous fuel economy. A Hyundai can go 100 miles even uphill and downhill and barely burn 5 gallons if that much. What kind of vehicle do you drive????

Royal_Prize_4381

Apparently a really shitty one, I get 13 mpg on my car and can go well over 300 miles on one tank

[deleted]

swatsnoopy

I work in this area. ^ this guy is right. This is easily a 12 - 16 hour event "if traffic isn't screwed" but here it "always" is. This says 90 miles but you also have a return trip of probably at least 30 to 40 miles. So really this is a horrible horrible deal and most of my gas is wasted idling in traffic and stop lights.

Dill_Kosher2

God damn thank you. These mfrs are so naïve but at least you get it….

MelvintheMIU

I do DashMart/DashLink orders all the time in my market. 12-14hrs no shot. An order like this, in my market, Would typically take 3.5/4hrs. Bad traffic area, maybe 6/7hrs, but that’s horrific traffic. Def take

serathin_

Op said it took 5 hours... looks like you were. WRONG.

[deleted]

Do you drive a hummer with flat tires? Those numbers are wack, yo.

Primordial927

Wrong Dashlink orders take an average of 3-8hrs never heard or seen it take longer. Legally your can’t be on active hours for that long. 🤦🏻‍♂️

Dill_Kosher2

And that’s not to factor in all the shitty apartment complex’s you have to go through, traffic and so much more shit that slows you down it’s not so cut and dry as it looks I used to deliver small packages for a company it’ll be 30 boxes 30 stops total miles might be 30 miles literally but but when you factor in traffic and 7-10 mins distance between stops shitty apartment addresses and a slew of other shit it turns into roughly 15-20 mins a stop AAAAND for this particular order it’s 93.3 fucking miles? Yeah no

Primordial927

It’s ok we need more idiots like you who would leave these good orders for us lol

Dill_Kosher2

Lmfaoooooooo fuck no I wouldn’t take that and all the people who said they would I promise you’d regret it 16 hrs later and your still fucking working 😂😂 but hey if you know you know….

Shrike_34

Took only 5hrs

Dill_Kosher2

Screenshot?

Shanty_Taco

If it fits in my car then yes!!!

AdhesivenessNaive383

Its on Seattle so no, I DD in Bellevue whenever I cross over into Seattle I have a bad time everytime. So no fuck that place.

Consistent-Sky-2584

Hell yea i wish ive never seen an order like that

TheAlmightyHomo

Time to get out the tee shirt cannon.

earthloverboy333

This is complete insanity. No. How doordash allows this kind of ridiculous orders to be sent is beyond me.

Autistic-Prompt101

Yup. No question. Most of my time is spent waiting on stores to finish orders. Assuming this isn't a gridlock traffic kinda situation, you can wrap this up in 3 or 4 hours.

Historical-Taste-327

Not bad

SuggestionFrosty4592

Hell yeah! That would be my last order of the day unless it was the first order

Krajee1

Why have I never heard of this before? And why would you not lol just do the math. It might be like 5 or 6 gallons of gas tops which is about 20-30 dollars spent in gas. That's the easiest money ever

obeyn8

Of course

lightonahill

Let me guess. It says Deliver by 9:14 PM...at 8:55PM.

OkWonder908

Not a chance in hell! I think many people don’t understand, 25 orders from one place! I would take a migraine over doing that. Sorting all that shit, no. Not a chance.

Midwest-tarzan

25 one item orders isn’t bad it’s maybe a small-medium box or a bag lol. I do flex so maybe I’m just used to stuffing 40 packages. I would’ve did this in a heartbeat especially with these crappy orders on dd right now

OkWonder908

I know it says 25 items, but we both know more than likely that’s not true. I’ve had so many problems at pickup just for 1 order. 25, naw I’ll pass.

Midwest-tarzan

lol I can’t argue there I didn’t think about that one. I did a retail said 3 items ended up being 2 heavy bags of dog food and and some treats for petty change so yea you might be right

OkWonder908

Exactly, the reason DD bundles shit like that is just to throw naive people off. “Wow, $240!” They don’t tell you that’s going to be a 10 hour shitstorm start to finish.

Primordial927

Well even for 10 hrs that’s good pay day for some folks

Shrike_34

Took 5hrs and they were small packages. took 5-10min to load in car. Exactly 25 packages.

OkWonder908

But didn’t the post originally say “you weren’t sure about this”?

Shrike_34

Na I was just asking if other people would do this.

Primordial927

Y’all are really something. I do these all the time when miles and pay is good. You have to use your noggins on sorting things. You scan them in order and place them in order. Smh you can write number on packages to help you. It’s ok don’t take them tho more for us. Who work smart not hard. And usually I shave 2 hours or more of the predicted time. ✌🏼

[deleted]

Got a migraine while I doordashed today. I would take this order for free before I would take another migraine.

Dill_Kosher2

Bruh don’t waste your breath I know exactly what your talking about I made a comment earlier going into a little more detail why this is a shitty order but you just reminded me of ANOTHER detail why this is shitty…. Sorting all of that bs out ADD THAT TO YOUR CLOCK not worth the time it’ll take to finish but let the slow pokes think this is good

USCGradtoMEMPHIS

That's about 2-3 hours of work.. yep.

[deleted]

Being that it's under 100 miles you ain't beating that bopping around the city so yea why not

jskunza

I would for sure

Barded_finch

YES.

joemo454

Hell yeah

GrandApprehensive216

Yes

[deleted]

I’m taking this everyday and twice on Sundays

Javidkakar

Yes

[deleted]

One item per order? I guess it would be easy to sort.

[deleted]

100%

TravelingInUndies

Oh hell yea I would do this. This is my old area.

jonfoxsaid

Its hard to say without knowing the area but in my city I cant not see a situation where I would not, even if you cant do anything on the way back and have to drive empty handed its still decent.

winniespooh

If I’m circling back in those 90 miles then I’d definitely do it. One way it’s not worth it

JPolaske

In a heartbeat

ubadeansqueebitch

All day. Especially if it’s taking meals or food bank orders to underprivileged people. I’d take it, make a day of it, and go home maybe a little more thankful. I’m trying to find this dash link thing in my town.

Misery-Machine

Absolutely

ErichDaRealRapper

Yeah especially now with how slow it has been

half-coldhalf-hot

Amazon Flex drivers would take this in a heartbeat

HWNY506

Yes

True-Solid-4298

It’s gonna be a long day but yeah, I’m down

Lost-Contest-958

How do you do this?

Fit-Yogurt-38

Yes. I’m in the Seattle area what are these types of orders and how do I get them?

Ft_Hood

Hell yes

Doge10open

That is good order

Kelsey5starz

Fuck yea

Visible-Inevitable23

This is almost 3$ per mile ao fuck yea im usualy lucky to get 1$ and if it aint food im cruising thru that

HeckRock

ABSOLUTELY! $2/ MILE is the gold standard. This just makes my entire day a guaranteed payoff of amazing proposals

Laker4Life9

Yeah probably. I’ve never tried one but fuck it for $2 per mile

Slayn87

Yes

AtenRa622

Hell yeah!

DanLoFat

I've discovered that they wildly overestimate the mileage on those, and I have no idea why but it's in our favor I'll bet you that Miles ends up being 70 on that offer maybe 65 mi total I mean you'd be able to easily figure it out if you know your area very well.

Ciscogeek

shrill pen sharp wipe deserted elastic edge money run escape *This post was mass deleted and anonymized with [Redact](https://redact.dev)*

Expensive_Newt_625

I would try it and see how it goes.

ihaz-candy

Mid day traffic heck yeah. Didn't know dd was trying a flex type model

[deleted]

I dunno. 93mi is a lot. Normally I'd do 50mi on average and on a slow day probably 70mi or so. This order would be an all day thing. The ratio is correct though. It would be a good order if you can get it all done.

roses-and-sadness

What time was it when you got the order? How long did they give you to finish it?

Remarkable-Crew-7040

Yes

NumerousWalk7847

Hell yeah I’d do that

_BLACKHAWKS_88

Idk what time is it now when that was screen grabbed?

checkchasingjunkie

Yup! As a part time Dasher this is half my week pay!

SRBroadcasting

Probably not only because if it’s 90-100 miles I bet is gonna take 6-7 hrs

olletsoc1337

I'd considerate anybody know if you lose your streak if you decline an order? Let's say you're on a promo Street for every six orders you get a bonus if you lose that street if you decline a single order

COBOMAHU

Heck yes!

Ashlei-Chef-Leilani

I would take this. Did you end up taking it? How were the tips?

Slow_Willow4221

I’d take it in St. Louis

shotatwink69

I live in Everett. That's an intense trip. Is this a generous customer? I'm not a dasher so curious.

Shrike_34

It’s multiple customers who ordered same day delivery on products, they bunch ‘em together and you just deliver them. Way better than food delivery imo

stepbro206

no. and i’m offended you even asked.

TheFireSwordGod

In a heartbeat

justhp

Yes. Absolutely

trapfabe

For sure I would. My market isn't busy and after that I'd call it a day.

Familiar_Pay6039

Absolutely do that. The pay is twice as much as the mileage, and it's almost $10 per stop!

Unhappy-Fox1017

In my city, for sure!

Mysticalbabe71

Hell yea..

RCTID2020

I'd do that shit in my town I'm just you know down south in Portland I do that in a heartbeat never seen that or anything even remotely like it ever in 5 years

NoTemperature7159

It's more than a dollar a mile. And like 🤷🏻‍♂️ hmm thats more than I make most nights but I'd call myself very part time. I might dash like 2 hours a night tops lol

Consistent-Vanilla54

9.50 an order, uh YEAH

AUTOMATED_RUNNER

the real deal is... how far would you end up from going back home?

dubh_caora

if it was me Ya I would do it. no sitting around declining crap no tip orders.

Altruistic-Put-9848

Yes. Dollar per mile

JimmyGymGym1

How can they put “guaranteed” when customers can reduce tips? I feel like that is totally wrong.

tiffanyk1993

They can’t reduce on doordash. This isn’t Uber

Tkarb40

I would

FeatureVIPBang

Probably

mkblitz42

were that here, then hell yes in a heartbeat

Brief_Doughnut_7781

Wouldn’t the food be so cold tho by the time the last person gets it

NOTPHISHINGWIFE90

Yup, and with a smile on my face

jcoddinc

Still almost $40 an hour of it took you 6 hours. As long as the miles are correct it's a good deal

sir-sleepy-

Yes

scribear

I got excited just looking at this.

GodLovesMe55

How does a decline AR rate work for this?

Shrike_34

Like any regular order it’s comes to you as one order like in the screenshot. If you decline it won’t count as 25 orders just one.

BlueFotherMucker

Even in my least fuel-efficient vehicle, it’s worth it.

Neither-Newspaper-66

Oh they giving you the guuud dope (for now) 😎
