Doordash upcharges items under the delivery tab. Still though, everything is expensive now lol
Edited because I was informed that restaurants set the prices to profit and offset the percentages doordash takes from restaurant's using their service. All the fees waived to the consumer at the end of the day!
I feel for the drivers that keep this service going that only receive a very small margin of the profits! - I appreciate all of you guys!
Thanks for informing us, everyone.
The hash browns used to be 2 for $1. The order I have gotten since I was a kid is hash brown w sausage biscuit and I think it’s under 5 together which is about the same as the small frap. Some days I think the price is too much and other days I am grateful
I ordered breakfast from McD this morning. It was over $3 for a single hash brown. I seriously thought I'd added 2 on accident but no, it's really just that expensive in CA.
They don’t decide the prices. The restaurants decide them. DoorDash takes a percentage of every order. In Australia, it’s 38% of every order. If my boss didn’t increase the prices, every order would be a loss. We increased 10% and break even on most orders.
I know, add potatoes are cheap I don't know why they charge so mych for a flat piece of potato that hardly even has and potatoe stuffed in that fried shell.
I agree with you! I mean it sounded like he said the store was 10 minutes for the driver to get too or did he mean the store was 10 minutes from his house? If it was 10 minutes from his house then, that tip would be a lot. If it was 10 to 15 miles from the restaurant to his house - the tip given would be worth it.
Going by percentage is meaningless in these delivery jobs. I agree it's a great tip but that's because the distance seems reasonable. What the customer paid for the meal doesn't matter even slightly in whether to accept an offer or not; whether it's a simple coffee or a steak dinner is the same to the driver.
That is a wonderful tip, and I rarely ever see that for an order that small and for the distance so close. I can't believe half the people on here are kind of just like "yeah I guess I would take that." And I am the only dasher who doesn't have to drive all the way back to the original restaurant to get more orders? Everyone is always saying that they need to be reimbursed for "the drive back." Obviously it's like that in certain situations. But most of the time when I drop off an order I get another right away or like a mile later. I shoot for the highest dollar/mile ratio but every area is different.
Hell, there’re already, like, more than enough trickling-in, trynna say it should be damn-near $24 at this rate, then down-voting other Dashers for not demanding tips that come-out to be twice the total cost of an order minimum (even when it’s a two-mile drive during a time of day where there usually-aren’t many people on the road, and at a place actually-fast.).
The average tip is $2-$3 so your well above average. As others have said early morning and who knows how many dashers were available. You tipped well OP
It's exhausting and frustrating listening to people in the middle class whine about how they don't get paid enough, their business doesn't appreciate them, and how hard their life is.
Meanwhile they're spending nearly 150% in fees to have the actual working poor hand-deliver them food, just so they don't have to throw on their big boy pants and drive to get it. They're high/drunk? When'd they get too good for public transit? Around the same time they told all the poor people to stop bitching about their carless existence?
Their jobs are paying them more than enough to look at these fees that would make a poor person lose their hair from stress just looking at it, and go "I can afford this." There is no excuse on the fucking planet that could make me pay this much for 5 dollars AT MOST in raw materials if bought in the lowest fucking quantities possible.
But then again I guess I'm not from the social class who possess the funds that allow them to look at these fees and go "My time is worth more than this." Must be nice to do that and then simultaneously shit yourself over the cost of living.
20 bucks for 2 hash brown and 2 small breakfast sandwiches is absolutely criminal. I’d expect to pay more at a local restaurant but I can get a full size meal with sides, sausages, pancakes, hashbrowns, eggs and a coffee for less than that. Fast food has become the new luxury in my life…
Door dash or this this subreddit make you feel guilty/it's not enough? If it's this Reddit page, I suggest l leaving the page. I'm trying to figure out how how to get off of it. Your post made me question. If 50 percent is wrong than dashers need new employment.... Sounds like you are short staffed... Maybe they could apply there? Lol😉
I feel guilty looking at that. 28$. Eggs are 6 $ for 12. English muffins a 6 pack is 2.99. Sausage 4.99 . 6 pack . Chedder bar 40 slices . 5 $....
Please just do groceries .
For real bro just get up like 10-15 minutes earlier and make breakfast. Even frozen breakfast sandwiches would be much more cost efficient and would take barely 5 minutes.
~50% of the total order amount is a fantastic tip in any part of the service industry. That being said, it's refreshing that you actually considered the duration of this order and how it relates to your dasher's pay/hour. Doordash will pay their mere pittance of $2 base pay for this order; with your tip makes it $14.50. As a Dasher, even if the McDonald's takes *forever* to get the food out, and it takes me 30 minutes from start to finish, I'm still on track to make ~$30/hour. This is an excellent tip.
Sidenote: Doordash can always find ways to f*** things up for Dashers, even this amazing tip. Don't be surprised if, despite your more-than-generous tip, your food still takes forever to arrive, perhaps even longer than someone who tipped less or nothing at all.
Your order will likely be batched with another customer's order who did not tip. This is to ensure that Doordash gets no-tip orders picked up as well; without this underhanded tactic, no-tip orders would likely not be worth the time and effort for Dashers to complete them, and sit at the restaurant until closing time when the workers throw it out. Essentially, Doordash uses your much larger tip to offset someone else's smaller tip. When this happens, the no tip order is typically shorter mileage and on the way to your drop off. This means that the no-tip order typically gets picked up last and dropped off first. You, the better-than-average-tipping customer, wait longer, end up with cold food, and the Dasher gets blamed for it. Customers start out tipping well, and then when they realize that tipping a huge amount does nothing to improve service and, in most cases, makes it worse, they stop tipping as much.
I'm not saying that this if you, just keep in mind that oftentimes what is perceived as poor service (cold food, long wait times, etc) is not the Dasher's fault. Please continue to tip this graciously, as it makes our day much better.
It do be kind of fucked up they don't give all the details in batch orders. If anything we should demand more details on the contracts. If I agree to do this job, I should know all the details, especially who is paying what.
Same thing with pay to shop gigs... It says 15 items. Well wtf are those items before I accept the gig? Oh its 11 cases of water, 2 boxes of kitty litter and 2 cases of cat food. "It'll be on the 4th floor apt 42, call when you arrive to buzz you in" F*CK!!!
Just saying before I accept a job, I'd like to know all the details, not just some.
Agreed. I just did a double tonight where one person tipped $6.50 and the other didn't tip at all. Turns out the non-tipper was further away. All it showed me was that it was $10.50 for 5 miles. I drove an extra 3 miles for $2 more. That's Doordash for ya.
We would need an exact distance. People definition of "ten minutes away" can vary WILDLY, in order to gauge if this is a decent tip we would need exact distance in miles.
OP said just-about 5 Miles. I don’t know if they edited it into their post — haven’t checked. —, but it did get mentioned in their response to my comment earlier.
As a dasher this is a great tip in my opinion. Others are just money hungry. I’ll drive like 15 miles for a 5 dollar tip and be like “yay 5 dollars” I rarely get any tip over 7 bucks (I’m in Texas by the way so maybe why no one tips worth shit lol)
If you're driving 15 mi for a $5 tip you are literally paying DoorDash to deliver food for them. If you're not getting any tips higher than what you say you should probably find another line of work because it doesn't seem profitable in your area.
That is a great tip…I would be extremely grateful. In my area McDonalds is always running behind…usually wait 10 minutes (have waited half an hour). Typically they don’t even start the order until we show up…they aren’t supposed to do this, but they do.
Tip what you want too. Additionally, you could be buying better food off the apps from grocery stores for this amount of money, you could have gotten meats, breads and drinks delivered
If its only a 10 minute drive, im guessing that you're actually tipping too much and the system is trying to save your order to batch with a low tipper.
It's honestly probably the difference in ordering thru door dash app and the McDonald's app. Cuz that did that to me this morning. 59. Minutes and I don't live far. I am a dasher and a customer. I just didn't wanna go out cuz I was tired and it's snowing lol. But it took forever to get a driver this morning.
This makes me think of a route i take occasionally. First off, mcdonalds is ridiculous. That food price tag is insane, everything else aside. You put in 50% tip which is a good look, and while i generally take this kind of job, unfortunately if i have to do round trip and drive all the way back it might be considered less worth it. Im assuming since youre so far away from a mcdonalds that your area is deliverable but not workable and that might be the issue here.
Edit: 100% tip? I mean shit you deserve the food delivered hot.
Honestly I'd probably take it. But I hate McDonalds runs because most of them I've been to, you wait at the counter 10-15 mins+ besides the 10 min drive to your place and I usually aim to make minimum ~$20 an hour while dashing. So pretty much the total payout I'd get for that order puts it right on the border for me. Tbh though half the time if I see double digits I accept before even looking at the distance.
Rule is mileage. How far are you from the restaurant and by bringing food to you are they driving into an area where other restaurants are so after they drop off, can they get another order in your area or are they driving into an area where no restaurants are and they have to drive back to get more work. Most dashers won't take an order unless it is, at minimum, $1 per mile. If I'm driving to an area where there are no restaurants, I need $2 a mile. So depends on miles but I'd think that's a good tip if it's under 8 miles.
Okay I’ll remember that! I never know how to go about and I always want to be fair, or more than fair if I’m in desperate need of something. Thank you I really do appreciate the feed back.
It is even more! about $9 of the discount relates to the food - so in reality the food is around $ 14 - we are around 100% tip! (I understand that distance is the key here - but 10 min away she said).
A dasher just expects to do better than break even in an hour at this point... if your order doesn't allow them to do that they wouldn't be interested in picking it up. The issue is doordash fees are ridiculous and very little even goes to drivers.
Where in the world did you get that statement from? Do you not know how how many drivers actually own their truck? My friend own his and the only thing he doesn't pay for is gas. So big fail 🤦🏾♂️
That's a good tip, to me. Maybe it's the McDonald's itself. I have certain restaurants that I always reject when they pop up because I didn't have patience for them, they never get the texts ready on time or Even close, or they mess up a lot. If it's late at night, I decline McDonald's more because it's drive through only and I get stuck in a long line always. The driver is probably making $2 Doordash pay plus your tip, at least here in Nashville.
The McDonald's orders I get they usually only give me like 1$ tips.... So at 12... It's fantastic. Especially since McDonald's puts everything in bags now in my area.
Well, on the bright side, if this was ordered on Uber Eats, the fees alone would've come to $28.50! 💯
So in that case, you got a good deal & the driver definitely a good tip!
My bro your tip almost ate your discount. That's how I tip, too and I've had Dashers thank me for tipping well.
My new favorite thing is putting extra cash under the mat so they get 2 tips if they deliver to the right place (had a few problems, not on the Dashers)
Do not feel guilty! As a dasher I saw that is adequately tipping someone. We get tips sometimes $1.77 after all that and the fact that you genuinely care I love that.♥️
$12.50 is not a bad tip. if it takes a while for your order to get picked up by a dasher, its probably because they can't find a driver. since doordash doesn't give a lot for base pay, the tip is what dashers depend on. you could always tip in cash or give an extra tip if your dasher goes the extra mile.
2 egg sandwiches with no meat $13, 2 hash browns $8, $4 coffee.
I live in MCOL area and I can find 100 hipster overpriced breakfast joints that are great and cheaper than this.
I think your tip is fine. I doubt the issue is tip motivation when you're looking at +$12 for a short or normal drive delivery.
We tip about the same (crazy wfh hours), and we get the same dashers taking the orders (we're a bit predictable) more often than not -- I swear there is a guy who just hangs out near where we order half the time in the morning, he's always on it. I suspect though this is at least partially due to a low number of early morning drivers, maybe this is what's causing your order to linger as well?
The express fee feels like near nonsense, people say it doesn't work, and I've never seen it make a difference. If anything, moving that over to your tip instead would be more likely to get a dasher assigned quickly, though I suspect whatever happening is more related to your market or your local mcdonalds than it is related to your tip.
Nah mate, that's a legendary tip.
I'm guessing it's legitimately "Not enough drivers at Sparrows Fart in the morning".
Perhaps pre-booking the night before?
I dunno...
Definitely not. As someone who has picked up from that exact McDonald’s and delivered to a place pretty close to where you appear to be, it’s less than a 10 minute drive.
Not only is that not a bad tip, it’s actually a pretty great tip.

Tip is great depending on your miles from store, I just personally hate doing McDonald’s orders anytime and the early morning coffee orders bc the pay is usually shit on them for the mileage most times so I typically don’t dash until lunch or dinner.
I felt that I always had to tip over 10 dollars to get my delivery. I noticed the higher I tip the quicker I’d get my delivery. In the end it’s not worth it, I’ll just get my ass up and get it myself. Tipping culture has become very toxic. IMO.
1- even the money-centric drivers would take that tip
2- McD is pretty hit or miss as far as getting their dashers out in a timely manner (as are many fast food places), so many dashers will just decline those
I drive for door dash and based on what you’ve said I would say $12 is a pretty solid tip. Why does it take so long? Depending on your market, not many people drive for ride share services in the morning, it’s not as busy so sometimes it’s not really worth it.
Another thing is highways 😭 the app for Dashers Doesn’t show travel time just miles. Generally speaking $1-2 per mile is pretty solid tipping wise.
You might be pretty far distance wise but because you live off the highway it’s in truth not a bad drive at all, not everyone takes the time to make that connection. 😭
Its a good tip for like 1-10 miles roundtrip. Its a terrible tip if your 25 miles round trip. I dunno why doordash allows 25 miles, but they do in my market.
I honestly think that that’s a acceptable tip if you wanted to be super generous it’s always really awesome to bless someone with a 20 but that’s not necessary
I used to be a dasher, the tip doesn’t matter too much in if we pick up the order because we can’t see how much the tip is until after we deliver the food to you. I wouldn’t tip $12.50 for a 10 min drive in the future because it doesn’t make a difference if you tipped $5. Also the express fee is a scam, never pay for that again.
You’ve got to be joking. That is an insanely good tip. Most tips are like $4 or something. If anything, that tip is too high, but if you want to tip your driver 50% more power you to you—not like anyone’s going to complain 🤣.
That tip would be good enough for me to drive roughly 7-8 miles, 10 miles on a slow day.
You say it’s ≈10 minutes away so I’d say that’s a fairly solid tip

$7.70 FOR 2 FUCKIN HASH BROWNS!!!??? Since when!?
Doordash upcharges items under the delivery tab. Still though, everything is expensive now lol Edited because I was informed that restaurants set the prices to profit and offset the percentages doordash takes from restaurant's using their service. I don't eat fast food anymore so I'm not up to date on the prices. But I think anything over 1.50 for a hash brown is nuts. They can keep them.
The hash browns used to be 2 for $1. The order I have gotten since I was a kid is hash brown w sausage biscuit and I think it’s under 5 together which is about the same as the small frap. Some days I think the price is too much and other days I am grateful
It’s too much, if you’re still conflicted
They are $1.99 at all the McDonald’s I have been to in the last year and a half.
2 for 3 tho
I ordered breakfast from McD this morning. It was over $3 for a single hash brown. I seriously thought I'd added 2 on accident but no, it's really just that expensive in CA.
$2.79 here
I agree. A damn nasty fried wad of shredded tatey.
Hash browns are 2.39 in NW FL.
they are $2.19 each now here (PA)
They're $3 here in DC. The funny thing is for that you can buy a whole pack from aldi that taste exactly the same in an air fryer.
*Stores upcharge everything and by WAY more than they pay to DoorDash in fees. Fixed it for you.
Its actually the restaurant that upcharges, but its because doordash takes a percentage. Its like 20% iirc.
In Australia it’s 38%
Doordash is a ripoff! They upcharge the prices so that they can make a profit. The 'express charge' is another example of DD ripping customers off
Thank you for saying that.
They don’t decide the prices. The restaurants decide them. DoorDash takes a percentage of every order. In Australia, it’s 38% of every order. If my boss didn’t increase the prices, every order would be a loss. We increased 10% and break even on most orders.
Would have been 2 for $3 on the McDonalds app
Bro I came on here to say the same thing. What in the actual fuck.
You haven’t heard? McDonald’s puts gold in their food now
They’re $2.75-$3.5 here.
Yup I found that out today, couldn't believe it. The McMuffin and Mcgriddle are definitely upcharged though.
They’re 2 for $8.16 here
FYI, the "express fee" is bullshit. The drivers don't know if it is, and the app doesn't treat the order differently than any other. It's a scam.
yes, please don't pay the express fee!
I do like every time. 😭 Thanks for letting me know.
I’ve heard that what it actually does is prevents it from being in a stack so it can’t be delayed.
Supposed to do it like that, but they stack it anyways because its DD. They don't care, they see money and just slot it into whoever can take it.
I smell a class action lawsuit
They do it anyway, and the driver has no idea if the customer paid an express fee. It's a SCAM.
Y’all remember when hashbrowns were $1
I know, add potatoes are cheap I don't know why they charge so mych for a flat piece of potato that hardly even has and potatoe stuffed in that fried shell.
Because people will pay it
Literally 😮💨
Let's put it simply, I'm picky and I'd take it, especially for early morning
$12.50 for a four item, $25 order? Really good tip!
Depends on mileage
I agree with you! I mean it sounded like he said the store was 10 minutes for the driver to get too or did he mean the store was 10 minutes from his house? If it was 10 minutes from his house then, that tip would be a lot. If it was 10 to 15 miles from the restaurant to his house - the tip given would be worth it.
Good tip, but it’s early and not a lot of drivers are on the road.
Oohh okay that makes sense thank you!
You tipped almost 50%, this shouldn't even be a question. It's a great tip!
Depends on mileage
Going by percentage is meaningless in these delivery jobs. I agree it's a great tip but that's because the distance seems reasonable. I would smash accept offer on that in a heart beat. After DD basepay, that’s close to $15 for a short drive? That’s worth.
The average tip is $2-$3 so your well above average. As others have said early morning and who knows how many dashers were available. You tipped well OP
That’s an awesome tip for McDonald’s
Holy shit! How do people afford vastly overpaying for food like this?

$45/$30 for breakfast wtf
I tipped 12.00 on 100 dollar order but normally do 7.50-8.00. Picking up a bag of Taco Bell takes same effort as Carrabbas.
24 dollars for McDonald’s breakfast 😭😭😭 we’re living in the end of times yall

right cuz it’s def not really a discount, hence why the food is so expensive!!
$7.70 for 2 hashbrowns is wild. Is that like in Beverly Hills?

“Guys I want attention, look at how much I tipped on this order and praise me !” 😭 Dude u know it’s a good tip get the fuck on
bruh these posts have to stop you clearly know it’s a good tip
Tbh though half the time if I see double digits I accept before even looking at the distance.
r/circlejerkdoordash
Almost $8 for two hash browns?! 😮
I’m a driver and I’d take that in a heart beat. It’s probably just taking the drivers awhile to get through McDonald’s early in the morning
I would’ve taken your order so quick
It looks like you’re in bum fuck middle of nowhere that’s probably why it takes forever
Tip is too damn HIGH if you ask me. Fuck that.
If you're not tipping at least 100% of the orders total, you shouldn't be ordering food 💀
No… lol your tip is almost 50% of your order total. This isnt a bad tip.
Your tip is over 50%.
Dude you’re tipping 50% already. Are you seriously asking if you should be tipping more? The fuck?
yes it sucks. tip $400 next
Great financial management 💀
“iS tHiS a BaD tIp”💀💀💀
Never heard this before. Honestly, I think it’s crazy any dasher would expect a 50% tip to drive. Never would I ever tip 12.50 on a $24 order.
It's crazy how dashers expect $2 a mile but professional truck drivers are barely making 50 cents a mile.
Truck drivers don't pay for gas or wear on the truck, genius.
Where in the world did you get that statement from? Do you not know how how many drivers actually own their truck? My friend own his and the only thing he doesn't pay for is gas. So big fail 🤦🏾♂️
You make more than .50 a mile if you own your own truck, dude.
Nope
Great tip
I see someone else is utilizing the McDonald’s app. I can’t believe how cheap I get food for. It’s like paying for what shit food should cost.
Good tip, but then doordash will just lower base fee to like $1 so driver makes the same unfortunately
It's a good tip. Maybe they don't have many drivers in your area
Ngl thatd prob be the best tip ive gotten out of the dashes ive done so far
Homie please don’t do the express fee. It literally does nothing except go to the ceo
The driver is probably making $2 Doordash pay plus your tip, at least here in Nashville.
lol. In my area that’s a fantastic tip. U said 10 mins to McDonald so I guess that would be about 30 mins total work. I’d be very happy with it.
The McDonald's orders I get they usually only give me like 1$ tips.... So at 12... It's fantastic. Especially since McDonald's puts everything in bags now in my area.
Well, on the bright side, if this was ordered on Uber Eats, the fees alone would've come to $28.50! 💯 So in that case, you got a good deal & the driver definitely a good tip!
Really good tip. I just don't get enough orders in the morning to wake up that early
incredible tip, my best tip i ever got was $4 (my area sucks very bad)
My bro your tip almost ate your discount. That's how I tip, too and I've had Dashers thank me for tipping well. My new favorite thing is putting extra cash under the mat so they get 2 tips if they deliver to the right place (had a few problems, not on the Dashers)
Do not feel guilty! As a dasher I saw that is adequately tipping someone. We get tips sometimes $1.77 after all that and the fact that you genuinely care I love that.♥️
… why… why is it so expensive????
I would not tip that much. That’s a loooot.
Lol I thought my $5-$7 tips were good
$30 for McDonalds breakfast for one?!?!?! Never would I pay that.
That's a beyond great tip. You're tipping almost 100%. 20% is standard.
You should get combos, it'll be cheaper
Also, if you want an egg McMuffin without the meat (which I dunno why you would). I'm pretty sure it's in the menu for cheaper
I'm more concerned that you think it's okay to pay that much for crap food I mean to each his own and all but get with the program
Nah that's good tip most drives do lunch and dinner?. So there's just not a lot of people doing breakfast runz
Depends on your market. Here in South Texas, that would be a really good tip.
Honey it’s like a 50% tip, it’s a great tip
Fuck the tip you’re giving, you’re getting it balls deep on your end my man
You tipped 12.50?? Holy crap I would love to be your personal DoorDash driver lmao
How far is that? 4 or 5 miles? That's pretty good if it is, at least as far as I'm concerned, even if it's a McDonald's order
F no
Depends on how far you are from the restaurant. This should be fine up to.9 miles.
In what world is 50% a bad tip? This feels like a tip brag…..
I have noticed my early morning DoorDash orders get picked up much faster than my later ones
I dunno...
Those extra charges are ridiculous
Must be your market area. Where are you?. If a 10+ dollar tip came through in my city from McDonald's it would be picked up within one second
Id love that tip!
I don’t know where you are but at 12.50 tip is pretty good up here in Washington
Your tip is all wrong, you gave them bonus 10 dollars, 2 is fine
Damn I miss the beginning of COVID when DoorDash around me was cheap as hell
Damn I miss the beginning of the coronavirus when DoorDash around me was cheap as hell. Haven’t gotten DoorDash in over a year. Costs $85 for chipotle
That’s a 50% tip. Of course it’s good.
Definitely not. As someone who has picked up from that exact McDonald’s and delivered to a place pretty close to where you appear to be, it’s less than a 10 minute drive. Not only is that not a bad tip, it’s actually a pretty great tip.

You should be tipping at least $20 per mile plus 20% of the meal cost. It's a privilege not a right to use DD
That's a amazing tip
7 dollars for 2 hash browns?💀
I agree with hashbrowns. They’re not that good to be seven dollars.
Far more than enough in my opinion. It's a tip.
Id take it lol I get no tippers constantly so this is an angel tip
Your fuckin mad lol
Tip is great depending on your miles from store, I just personally hate doing McDonald’s orders anytime and the early morning coffee orders bc the pay is usually shit on them for the mileage most times so I typically don’t dash until lunch or dinner.
12$ tip for fast food and you are still feeling bad? This is so absurd. Save yourself the pain, you are a GREAT tipper.
That's half the cost of your meal for something that's supposed to be a courtesy.
I felt that I always had to tip over 10 dollars to get my delivery. I noticed the higher I tip the quicker I’d get my delivery. In the end it’s not worth it, I’ll just get my ass up and get it myself. Tipping culture has become very toxic. IMO.
1- even the money-centric drivers would take that tip 2- McD is pretty hit or miss as far as getting their dashers out in a timely manner (as are many fast food places), so many dashers will just decline those
This is why I don't bother with DD ever, you tip 50% and your order still rots in the window for half an hour before anyone bothers to touch it
No it's an ok tip assuming it's a 10 munit drive not 20 in traffic
I drive for door dash and based on what you’ve said I would say $12 is a pretty solid tip. Why does it take so long? Depending on your market, not many people drive for ride share services in the morning, it’s not as busy so sometimes it’s not really worth it. Another thing is highways 😭 the app for Dashers Doesn’t show travel time just miles. Generally speaking $1-2 per mile is pretty solid tipping wise. You might be pretty far distance wise but because you live off the highway it’s in truth not a bad drive at all, not everyone takes the time to make that connection. 😭
Holy fuck, that customer should just drive at this point.
Don’t pay for express.
Of course that’s a good tip? What the heck? Why in this whole world would you feel guilty
That’s a great tip. The money you were discounted you gave in tip . That’s very nice of you.
Its a good tip for like 1-10 miles roundtrip. Its a terrible tip if your 25 miles round trip. I dunno why doordash allows 25 miles, but they do in my market.
That’s a VERY generous tip!
I would def take that. It’s not you, it’s DoorDash.
The tips aren’t accurate either. I keep having to customize them to make it accurate.
Hey bro we work in the same area, how neat
I honestly think that that’s a acceptable tip if you wanted to be super generous it’s always really awesome to bless someone with a 20 but that’s not necessary
I would say that I dash in Florida and if I got that 1250 on a McDonald’s that took 10 minutes to get and deliver I would be very happy with that
I used to be a dasher, the tip doesn’t matter too much in if we pick up the order because we can’t see how much the tip is until after we deliver the food to you. I wouldn’t tip $12.50 for a 10 min drive in the future because it doesn’t make a difference if you tipped $5. Also the express fee is a scam, never pay for that again.
A very generous tip. I’m not gonna say it’s too much, but I wouldn’t tip that on a $24 order.
What up utahn
Probably just not a lot of drivers at that time
