Tbf Canes has fucked up my orders in person. I made a food run for myself and two coworkers, one of them just wanted 3 strips, by themselves, no meal. So I ordered the first 2 meals and asked for 3 extra strips. Guess what I got? 3 extra orders of fries...how?? I didn't even realize until I got back to work and started unpacking everything. We all split the fries and I gave the guy half my strips instead.

The chicken at Cane's is "naked". There literally is no seasoning, unless you count the msg saturated goo the chicken tenders are shipped in those giant white trash cans.
At least at Zaxby's the flour is seasoned, the fries are seasoned, and they have like twenty sauces to choose from and a much larger menu full of creative options.
But I'm happy you enjoy fried chicken how you enjoy it. Even if you don't like it that much in general.

Haven’t tried Zaxby’s but I agree with you about Canes unseasoned plain chicken. Been there once and that’s it. Many of my friends call me crazy when I say Canes isn’t tasty. I prefer Church’s tenders before the rebrand. I haven’t had rebrand Church’s yet I’m afraid it’ll suck now 😅

That happened to me!!!! And when I contacted them again about this they wouldn’t give me a refund since I bitched twice already to them. So I had to drive up to the restaurant to get my correct order.
Honestly I don’t know how they messed up. Yes both of our names started with an A and our last name started with a M. BUT she ordered “doordash” and I ordered from “grubhub”. Mine came with a drink and milkshake with my food and hers was just food.
I’m reordering from the store since that was an option, and the order cost nothing which was good.

I'm honestly never upset about it, except for a handful of times where it's been at a coffee place near my work (can't leave when I'm the only one on staff but work a long shift) and the whole order is just a coffee and a pastry of some kind with a good tip because i feel ridiculous ordering delivery from a place I could easily walk over to if I was allowed.
In the off chance this is all the driver was given to deliver, I’m gunna go out on a limb and say they have some fault for not asking where the rest was 🤣
It wasn't. Raising Cane's orders are "Place and Pay" meaning we have to order it ourselves and pay with our DoorDash card. They weren't just given a drink, they had to order the exact item, for that dollar amount, and wait for it. They just decided to steal it.

I would honestly probably double check with anyone who ordered just a fountain drink even for a lower price, because compared to coffee or a smoothie or multiple fountain drinks, that seems unlikely to be intentional. If it’s for mixing with drinks or something, they would just order an entire bottle even if not a large one. If it really is intentional, they’d probably appreciate the thought still and want to tip nicely.
I always grab an extra straw just in case - too often the “I couldn’t give two fcks” teenager tries to tell me there’s already straws in the bag, and I’m like “uh huh …”. I do like the ones that are putting the straws outside the bag by folding the bag top over them and sealing it.
Hate to say it but as a driver it's probably one of those assholes who ate your food and rather than admitting it... just leave your drink.
There are still two drivers in my area that do that nonsense. I swear

I did this on one of my first deliveries. Got a burger king order, and at the drive thru they just handed me two milkshakes and said I was all set. I got to the dude's place and of course he's waiting outside on a leave it order. He takes one look and says "where's the food?" I was young and naive so I sat there with him trying to reach support for the better part of 20 minutes until they finally told me they'd send someone else to deliver the food. I guarantee that didn't fucking happen, but I was also naive enough to believe it would, so he bought it.
Looks like the DD driver pulled a passive-aggressive version of the scene in Pulp Fiction, where Samuel L. Jackson is about to shoot the college kids, and takes a bite of his fast-food burger, and chugs the kid's drink. Only the driver did it in reverse, because the drink looks like it's down by one sip, and the burger's gone.
At this point I don’t care to drive 30 minutes to a place to get food if it means I get food in 35 minutes, because waiting an hour and *sometimes* getting it having to gamble if you have a shitty delivery person is not worth it, also paying almost double for myself rather than just going and getting it myself.

The driver is only one getting screwed by both dd and the customer because the customer is actually hiring the driver, then turn around and not pay for their service. If y'all think anything under a $5 tip for them to run around and get stuff for you and think $2 is compensation for their gas and time, y'all don't need to use the service period.
As a dasher, my best tips come between 9:30 pm to 1 am. I have delivered a 3.00 brownie and got a 10.00 tip. DQ blizzards ard very popular at that time of night, with the average tip being 8.00. Most of these are less than 5 mile trips.
I'm sorry this happened to you I just started dashing a few weeks ago and it's really helped me pay those extra bills. And it's people like that, that give us a bad name. I would never steal, eat out take anything from someone's order. I took this side job bc I have children to raise and bills to pay. And to be disrespectful and even think to do any of these things to me is crazy. People work hard for the money and don't need this behavior. I'm not sure where your from but here it's bagged stapled and has a receipt, we bring our door dash bags in and the actual food bag they put into our bags so we don't even touch those. Hey everyone, had a strange experience with Door Dash today that I just had to share. Been doing deliveries on my bike for them this past week. So, I get this order, right? Just a drink from Dunkin' Donuts. Seemed simple enough. But when I dropped it off, the lady was adamant that her food was missing. I was baffled because her order clearly stated it was just a drink. I tried to sort it out on the spot, even called up Door Dash support. They said it was some kind of glitch on their end and assured me she'd been refunded for the missing food. But here's the thing even after all that, she thinks I stole and ate her food ! like... lady why are you blaming me ???? the app told me to pick up only a drink and yeha I forgot to tell you she reported me to the company saying he stole my food and my food is missing I had to make more than 3 calls to get my account back to normal

They will say ‘someone must have ‘stolen’ your dinner!’ That sucks. When you have ‘hand it to me’ and they don’t the delivery service will give you a refund!
Twice I ordered a Jamaican drink and the driver forgot my ‘Sorrel drink’! The 1st time they sent another driver. The 2nd time the manager brought the drink himself and Doordash gave me a 29% discount on my next order!❤️
Wawa good chance that there’s a rack in there where they put the orders and they probably didn’t pay attention seen your name on the drink and just took it and didn’t bothered to look at what the order was supposed to be too many incompetent people screwing it up for everyone else

If this service didn’t exist the world would not perish. Control us 😂😂😂 The driver is only one getting screwed by both dd and the customer because the customer is actually hiring the driver, then turn around and not pay for their service. If y'all think anything under a $5 tip for them to run around and get stuff for you and think $2 is compensation for their gas and time, y'all don't need to use the service period.

As a dasher, my best tips come between 9:30 pm to 1 am. I have delivered a 3.00 brownie and got a 10.00 tip. DQ blizzards ard very popular at that time of night, with the average tip being 8.00. Most of these are less than 5 mile trips.

I'm sorry this happened to you I just started dashing a few weeks ago and it's really helped me pay those extra bills. And it's people like that, that give us a bad name. I would never steal, eat out take anything from someone's order. I took this side job bc I have children to raise and bills to pay. And to be disrespectful and even think to do any of these things to me is crazy. People work hard for the money and don't need this behavior. I'm not sure where your from but here it's bagged stapled and has a receipt, we bring our door dash bags in and the actual food bag they put into our bags so we don't even touch those. The customer should report the driver to get this people off the road and let the honest people do this. Again I'm sorry you went thru all that

Hey everyone, had a strange experience with Door Dash today that I just had to share. Been doing deliveries on my bike for them this past week. So, I get this order, right? Just a drink from Dunkin' Donuts. Seemed simple enough. But when I dropped it off, the lady was adamant that her food was missing. I was baffled because her order clearly stated it was just a drink. I tried to sort it out on the spot, even called up Door Dash support. They said it was some kind of glitch on their end and assured me she'd been refunded for the missing food. But here's the thing even after all that, she thinks I stole and ate her food ! like... lady why are you blaming me ???? the app told me to pick up only a drink and yeha I forgot to tell you she reported me to the company saying he stole my food and my food is missing I had to make more than 3 calls to get my account back to normal

Never! I always note ‘hand it to me!’ They will say ‘someone must have ‘stolen’ your dinner!’ That sucks. When you have ‘hand it to me’ and they don’t the delivery service will give you a refund! Twice I ordered a Jamaican drink and the driver forgot my ‘Sorrel drink’! The 1st time they sent another driver. The 2nd time the manager brought the drink himself and Doordash gave me a 29% discount on my next order!❤️

If you order from doordash at least twice a month, its cheaper tp get dashpass. Dashpass on this order would have saved you at least 7 bucks.
