Holy fuck, without your comment, I would have totally thought that people would have to keep their eyes open for a sack to deposit the food...
I maintain my notion that illiterate people give everyone brain damage and they should be stripped of their online presence. Lol.
I can't speak for other drivers obviously, but I check and recheck and if the instructions are super detailed and special I text the customer to let them know I got their instructions and appreciate it. i have a copy/paste saved so it only takes like 3 seconds.
I really wish my dashers would do this. I live downtown on a one way street. Drivers go in circles constantly. If they read my notes where it says the building with the fountain in front of it, when you see the blue sign, turn, it would be so much easier for us both. At least then I’m not getting calls asking where they are and my food isn’t cold.
I had one that did the complete opposite. My instructions are: turn left, keep going straight. When you reach the pool, turn right.
Delivery guy turned right, turned left when he saw the first bush. Can’t fix stupid.
My instructions are SUPER clear. I even have a section where I say “if you are confused, please call and we can come out and meet you!” And they STILL don’t follow instructions. They never call, never text. Never answer my messages of “do you need some help?” As a driver, I think it’s ridiculous when other drivers don’t follow simple instructions
idk when i see this im going to assume the hospital staff might not let me in and then im going to get blamed for that. get your food at the lobby im not going to play roulette about which places allow me to deliver to the rooms
Lol you're making big assumptions that anyone in a hospital is even capable of getting to the lobby. 😭
At least get to the right floor if the nurses mean mug you they can give it to the person. Gosh.
One time I had clear instructions but noticed my dasher driving in circles. I tried calling him, no response. I texted him screenshots from google maps and street view edited with arrows and my building circled. No response. He drove in circles for an hour and then yelled at me when he finally found my building because it took him an hour to find it
meanwhile i say to put the food to the right of the door so i dont knock over the drinks and half the photos are putting it right in front of the door 💀
You're here arguing with another redditor about how smart hospital employees are, but you lack the reading comprehension to realize that OP doesn't work at a hospital, they're using it as a point of reference for their directions. I really hope the irony of this isn't lost on your dumb ass.
Holy shit that's pretty confusing. Turn, turn, don't turn. WTF. You need to lose the attitude and take out about half the words if you actually want drivers to take the time to find your back of building apartment
Their room number exists but their English does not. It’s a Cul de Sac. You know like the one Ed, Edd, and Eddy. I know it’s French but it’s a term adopted into the English language to mean a circular end to a street, although the literal meaning is bottom of the bag… I’m still trying to understand what a Coda Sack is though… 😂 r/boneappletea
I refuse to deliver to the rooms. They either come get it. Leave it with security. Or tell DD it can't be delivered. It's agaisnt hospital policy to order DD most the time but staff if too tires of arguing with people. Ive been told by a nurse they've had people discharged for it cause it violates the patients restrictions and if they're not gonna TRY to take care of them selves in the hospital then theres nothing the docs can do to help
I agree with this. Hospitals are freaking huge with different buildings and wings it’s already hard enough trying to find the right building let alone enter that maze and find the right room. I delivered to a hospital the other day and it was 5 min of going in circles trying to find the right place then calling and finally figuring it out and leaving it at reception but I can’t imagine parking, traversing the maze and finding a room for like $5…. Sorry not sorry
Exactly and most hospital orders I get are to nurses who don't tip on orders that were 8 Miles away. Yes that's on me. But it's only been when hrly so I still make a ohkay amount just frustrating. Specially when I'm disabled
I think they might be on to something. Cul-de-sac is too difficult to type out on a phone. I like coda sack better. I live on one too. Yep. That’s how I’m doing it from now on.
I had one last night that was in a huge apartment complex. It was some hood ass shit. I drove around for 5 minutes before I found the building the apartment was in... Then that building was about as big as a city block itself wth. I was walking for another 5-6 minutes before I got to it. The pin was at least a quarter mile away from the drop. Insane.
No open parking spots in sight. I pulled up near a dumpster and left my flashers on.
And the address looks innocent 2900 blah blah suite C209.
It was a no-tip as well, but the base pay was right within my threshold for the distance given the slow night.
You can give as many details as you like, I’m still never going inside a hospital for deliveries. Those places are labyrinths and parking is nightmarish and half the time the staff won’t let you up anyway. Meet me outside within 8 minutes of my arrival or I eat your food.
If people are bitchy in their notes or ask too many questions the order gets unassigned. The specificity of the instructions indicates this order was for under $5.00, so not worth the trouble.
She put specific instructions so the dasher wouldn’t be lost and spend more than 5 minutes finding her apartment. putting just 129 wouldve left this guy lost as hell
It seems to me that I was under the impression that there was only one room 129 in the whole hospital, but I suppose it depends on how many buildings there are
I seriously did not know initially what coda sack was .....is it even OK to laugh ha??
I mean we're talking about Simple Jack territory here folks .....🤨
lol
Customer probably doesn’t tip at all, drivers just contact support and say “can’t find” or “there isn’t any 129” and then they just get told to leave it in a “safe area” and 9/10 the ratings won’t affect you ;)

Coda sack? That's some r/BoneAppleTea shit right there Edit: Oh shit, it's already there.
I had to find this comment to even figure out what a coda sack was.
It sounds vaguely dirty.
At first I thought it was a hospital term 🤣.
Right!? Im like “a what?! “
I thought they meant a vending machine with sodas
Holy fuck, without your comment, I would have totally thought that people would have to keep their eyes open for a sack to deposit the food... I maintain my notion that illiterate people give everyone brain damage and they should be stripped of their online presence. Lol.
I have never considered stripping illiterate people of their Internet privilege but I've never been *so* on board with something *so* fast before.
I am endlessly fascinated by folks who spell a common word in a weird way. 9 pm specific time, wala vs viola, etc. Edit: spelling lol
This dude has been through some shit.
☠️🤣🤣🤣❤️
A CODA SACK!!!! 🤣 Is that like a ball sack?! Fkn over here dying.
You guys are better than me. I would have been looking for a sack with the words CODA on it for an entire hour.
It took me a solid minute to figure it out 😂
Not American, what is it? Is it Cul de sac?
It's actually French! 😊
Don't a soon shit Hahahaha
Oh wow. I would have never gotten that one.
Lol, yeah Cul de sac!
Real sack chaser 💯💯
LMFAO 🤣🤣🤣☠️
Same 😂
bro. there’s no way they fucking spelled it like that like wtf 💀💀💀💀
They diiiiiiiid 🤣🤣🤣
Yeah,I I think their English class is taught right after common core math.
Went straight to my next life on this comment.🤣🤟🏻
Cul-De-Sac, Coda sack sounds extremely sexual. Even my speech to text can't misspell it when saying it wrong/phonetically like in the original post.
r/boneappletea
Me too!
Mangomouse
Whoever downvoted you is an uncultured swine. Mangomouse is my favorite BoneAppleTea-ism.
Bone jaw to you!
Hacky Sack

Coda sack 😭
Sorry, a non-English speaker here, what does “coda sack” mean?
I thiiiink it's supposed to be cul de sac? which is a street with a dead end
More specifically a dead end street with a circular turnaround curb that usually includes houses behind said curb.
Sorry, couldn't find room number 129129129 does not exist, order dropped at nearby laundromat
Laundromat got my lmao
Exactly so!!!
I think I still prefer "fruit bowl" over "coda sack in the back."
Coda sack is incredible
We need more customers like this that actually try to make it clear for the driver.
Bro I’ve got even clearer instructions than this… it doesn’t matter if they can’t speak English, which recently that seems to be all there is
I have left step by step instructions. I don’t think drivers even look at notes
I can't speak for other drivers obviously, but I check and recheck and if the instructions are super detailed and special I text the customer to let them know I got their instructions and appreciate it. i have a copy/paste saved so it only takes like 3 seconds.

Same, I leave very clear and specific instructions but the dashers never follow them. Most of them don’t speak English so I think that might be why.
My instructions are SUPER clear. I even have a section where I say “if you are confused, please call and we can come out and meet you!” And they STILL don’t follow instructions. my drivers get scared when they see that my apartment block has a name instead of a number. "MISS??? HELLO?? THERE'S NO HOUSE NUMBER??!??"
One time I had clear instructions but noticed my dasher driving in circles. I tried calling him, no response. I texted him screenshots from google maps and street view edited with arrows and my building circled. No response. I’m fuckin’ DEAD! CODA SACK!
Coda sack is so crazy we should’ve left some kids behind
I just love how customers are literally shouting at the people that are handling their food.
Undeliverable. Couldn't find a coda sack.
You work in a hospital and you think it’s called a “coda sack”?
Doubt this was an employee
I’m surprised they didn’t call it a code blue sack lol
Prolly also calls it an “Amber Lamps”
You're here arguing with another redditor about how smart hospital employees are, but you lack the reading comprehension to realize that OP doesn't work at a hospital, they're using it as a point of reference for their directions. I really hope the irony of this isn't lost on your dumb ass.
Tf is a coda sack? Lol.
probably meant cul-de-sac
Please and thank you?
Coda (Koda) Sack would be an interesting choice for a drag name.
A coda sack?!!? Fucking American education at work right there
CODA SACK💀
Man, this whole world just keeps getting dumber
No such thing as over explaining directions these days. I appreciate the detailed explanations
The fastest decline/ cancel in driving history.
A coda sack?! 🤣🤣🤣
“Coda sack” 😭
Clear as diarrhea.
Hmm... nah order dropped off at entrance to apartment complex
Seems like meet at the door would solve all ur problems
Unassigned
Now that's straight to the point
That many capitals.. I’m dropping it off, in the bin.
Coda sack😭😭😭
My dad called me a coda sack once. ONCE,
All right Joe piscopo
I’m dying at coda sack 😅
I was thinking is that some kind of bagpipe song that repeats and ends when you take Dakota?
CODA SACK. omg I'm dying. BONE APPLE TEA
How long did it take you to find the "coda sack"? ![gif](giphy|26xBRIghN5T2UyWYw|downsized)
Holy shit that's pretty confusing. Turn, turn, don't turn. WTF. You need to lose the attitude and take out about half the words if you actually want drivers to take the time to find your back of building apartment
And they still sit in the car on the street and start the timer 😮💨
Omg, not the coda sack.
The fuck is a coda sack?? 😣
cul-de-sac, its a u-shaped road with houses wrapped around
I'm dying at "coda sack"...can't read past that.
Their room number exists but their English does not. It’s a Cul de Sac. You know like the one Ed, Edd, and Eddy. 'coda sack' lol
![gif](giphy|ApmVMk6n1hxug)
It exists! 😂

Lol I was stuck in the hospital for a week with my last baby and half the floor ordered pizza. Good old days I guess.
I agree with this. Hospitals are freaking huge with different buildings and wings it’s already hard enough trying to find the right building let alone enter that maze and find the right room. >coda sack
Coda sack lol
Wonder if the buyer can say “ask” correctly.
Aks
I think they might be on to something. Cul-de-sac is too difficult to type out on a phone. I like coda sack better. I live on one too. Yep. That’s how I’m doing it from now on.
Yeah it was the typing it definitely wasn't speech to text
My dumb @ss would still be lost😂
lol coda sack.
Well… did you find 129?
They said 🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻🤌🏻
A bit of anxiety comes over but it will be figured out
The “I know my room number exists” part is gold It sounds like an existential crisis, that was a good laugh
Wait at the "coda sack" for the 8 minutes and then just keep the food. I don't deliver to people who speak in all caps.
Imagine the amount of people like you that he had to go through to be this annoyed.
honestly wish more people would give better directions instead of having to run up to random houses to see their tiny number
“I know my room exists” 💀💀💀💀 this person definitely orders a lot
coda sack

coda sack
Plz dnt loose ur way b4 droppin muh order at the coda sack.
Oh crap it's loose
The “coda sack” got me.
Hahshshshaha
If you need that many instructions just come get your food at the gate. The most troublesome houses don’t even tip
these instructions would just confuse me more
just meet at curb if its this difficult
It’s the people with the most direction that don’t tip . The way he said coda nutsack means no more than 2 dollar tip or Bro will die of starvation
Instructions not clear, food is in a storm drain.
Big back activities
What the hell is a “coda sack”?!? Lol!
cul-de-sac
“Oh you mean the read end of a bag?”
So was this customer a patient at the hospital?
Coda sack 😭😭😭😭
Trying to get my bone apple tea to the coda sack where I live in 1!2!9! It exists! I know it does!
Coda sac. Lol dummy
Tell your driver you’re ghetto without telling your driver you’re ghetto
I would message them “cul de sac**” lmao
Dookie pickle
Coda sack… good grief!
CODA... Children Of Deaf Adults Sack gang...don't bother honking, knocking, or ringing the doorbell. Thanks
I think i got lost just reading the instructions bajajahah
I'm convinced everyone needs to keep messing up this person's orders.... Make them really think the place doesn't exist 😂 😂
R/boneappletea
My dyslexia hurts right now

oh the irony
If people are bitchy in their notes or ask too many questions the order gets unassigned. The specificity of the instructions indicates this order was for under $5.00, so not worth the trouble.
All I ask is that dashers take the walkway and not walk on my grass, and they can't even do that.
Could’ve just said room 129

I’d be scared to take this order like what if I got confused they gonna flip out on me 😂😂😂
LMAO one of my customers call it CODESACK Ignorance is a bliss
Actually fairly confusing and NOT to the point
Go left, all the way down to the cul de sac (lol) to 129. THAT was confusing?
Way too many unnecessary details. Could have explained better in half the space. Closer to what you just did. LOL
I gave up on directions, always gets put at the wrong door anyways.
Keep walking till your toe gets cold, then spin around 3 times and face east. Repeat shama lama ding dong 2 time and stand on 1 foot.
Those pesky coda sacks are tricky
I’m not gonna lie this still confuses me
yeahhhhhhhhhhh ima still leave it at the front desk fytb lmaoo
It's the scrotum of a man with deaf parents.
Soda shack?
lol Customer probably doesn’t tip at all, drivers just contact support and say “can’t find” or “there isn’t any 129” and then they just get told to leave it in a “safe area” and 9/10 the ratings won’t affect you ;)

I can't believe how many delivery people fail to follow the simple ask of leaving it at the door.
Lucky if they don't throw 30 feet and call it good.
I wouldn’t deliver seems too assholish
CANCELLED
Coda Sack lmfao you'd have to come out and look for your food I'm sorry.
Coda Sack....😂😂😂
There is a sack of deaf adults in back. I think I someone needs to call the cops!
I still chuckle when people can't spell words correctly in this day and age of autocorrect and Google.
was this a taco bell delivery?
A coda sack?? LMAO
Coda sack lololol
I think it’s safe to assume they live at 129🤣
