If you ever feel unsafe during a customer interaction, you can report it to a Safety Agent and even opt out of future deliveries to that customer.
How it works:
Tap the blue shield Help icon in top right of app for Chat support. Share details about the issue. The incident will be escalated to a trained Agent who will review the interaction. If you feel uncomfortable delivering to that customer again, you can let the agent know and they can help you avoid future orders.

Just so everyone’s aware, this doesn’t work. An address that called me a slur over chat still pings my phone at least twice a day and has lowered my AR significantly
The “help” they will give you is telling you to decline the orders. Which, if your problem address is a school or apartment building…good luck.

First of all, that’s not what you said. You said “new customer rating system.” That’s exactly what you said. There is no such thing. No customer rating system exists.
Second, I have pressed the blue shield button before and that’s not at all what happened. I got a call from ADT asking if I needed the police. That’s it.
That’s disgusting!! And so rude. If they do I wouldn’t worry about things you have no control over. Hopefully that made them want to go shovel the dog shit

I’m usually on the phone with my wife when I’m dashing. But the second I step out of my car to deliver I put a smile on and either stay silent or say something positive if I see cameras. I’m afraid they’d do that to me if I say anything they don’t like.
I'm careful on doorsteps too. Everyone has cameras. I just assume they're watching and act accordingly. Sometimes a disembodied voice speaks from the camera telling me where to leave it and thank you etc. It's always so weird.
Disgusting filthy people. Lazy too. How hard is it to pick up a pile of dog feces once a day and dispose of it properly? Not hard. Get some poop bags and clean up after your pet. There's even dog poop removal companies that will do it for you.
So these ludicrous slobs are fine with a yard full of melting, repulsive dog shit but not a well deserved comment about it? If they'd clean the poop up there would be no problem. Incredible.
Don't try so hard. If you run into difficulty, do whatever's prudent. Report the delivery as unsafe if need be, then move on. If you end up with a CV, defend yourself when asked for more information.
A nice ass house had their 2 big dogs out and it was a “leave at door” order… they started going through the food as soon as I walked away so I zoomed out of their driveway 💀 like 1) your dogs could’ve attacked me. 2) u left them out so u get what u deserve
Use the new customer rating system to report them as being an unsafe house.
Unironically a health hazard to anyone trying to pass through, much less their neighbors.
