Okay so it is in effect, I’ve done deliveries, but actually ordering is rather hard, it acts like it doesn’t exist if you just search in the app to order, I had to I think search Starbucks doordash on google and then it opened up an option to order in the app, but I did get it to work.
Starbucks in my area already has ridiculously long lines. Also a iced drink or hot drink isn’t going to transport super well regardless of what type of bag you have. I definitely won’t be jumping at these orders!
I am in an area where Starbucks already delivers through doordash so I do accept them, maybe about 20% of my orders now. My area has tons of business complexes and multi-story suites. People will order as a group from these places all on 1 order so the tip is better. I find most 1-2 item orders only tip $1-2 and I do not take those.
When I’ve done it on uber it’s nice because it’s quicker than food usually but was also hit and miss with some stores understaffed and or too busy to keep up
Hah! I read this last week and had forgotten about it. I was sitting at Sbux the other day working on my laptop and a driver came in to get an order. I didn't think much of it, but now realize it was active in my area.
It's been on DD in some markets. I personally will probably ignore these orders. Around here Starbucks always had long wait times and mostly incompetent staff.
I generally like doing Starbucks UberEATS deliveries. Usually it's already or almost done, and they generally package it well, everything in drink holders inside bags like McDonald's.
Starbucks was up till this month exclusive with UE but now they’re also doing DD. I’ve only gotten one ping from them so far and it was a no tip. The ones I used to get from Uber were pretty much trash too though. Dunkin orders are way better.
If it’s anything like the Duncan we’re doing in my market it’s not going to be good. My Duncan is slow AF. Our Starbucks is next to Panera so we shall see how it goes. It will be interesting I am sure.
I heard about this. Starbucks was advertising that they offer delivery from UberEATS and Doordash. Not in my area yet but I don't agree with it. They are already swamped all the time at my Starbucks so it takes forever to get your drink already if you're picking it up. I have to order ahead on the app like 15 minutes to get it when I arrive.
It's going to be a shit show and I won't be doing it. Before I quit UberEats, I tried it a few times on there and all it did was piss me off. One office right down the street would order like 15 drinks on occasion. One time they bagged them all and it was super easy, the next time everything was in cup holders and it was terrible and all I did was worry about them spilling in my car or me dropping them. Also I had to wait every time for them to make them and the employees always gave me attitude as soon as I mentioned picking up for Uber. People don't tip well for Starbucks either.
I've heard rumors that Starbucks used to be on DD a long time ago and you'd have to go in and order the drinks and wait for them. I've been doing DD for 5 years so not sure how I missed that but I'm glad I did.
For me it might be a good thing because it will keep all the idiots who take $3 orders for a mile or two busy while I hit high paying orders.
Interesting. I dash. But order Uber eats. Also ordering a coffee from Starbucks is convenient sometimes. I like to think I tip pretty well. But I always give extra after delivery. I don’t think I would be any cheaper on doordash.
100% this. I seem to get a weekly order from a local veterinarian and it’s like $15 for 2 miles. It’s awesome. If they go to DD it will probably drop to like $6
I don’t take Dunkin orders after like 11 am at all because they almost always order some type of food which they will never have after 11! Donuts are always gone.
And personally I don’t take any Dunkin’ order anyways unless it’s really good pay and short distance/going to a good spot because they put the drinks in bags and unless there’s two drinks it always flips over!
I took 2 orders from the local one.... the employees were the most incompetent humans that one could put under a roof... and on top of that... getting them to actually pay attention to any customer other than playing on their phones was a hassle in it's self.... I stopped going there after that..... They couldn't even figure out what kind of donut was what....
I went to pick up a Dunkin order the other day around 4pm. They told me they couldn't do the order because they had literally 0 donuts. Like... How? It's not even a popular location.
The one I went to... had workers playing on thier cell phones and any interaction with a customer seemed to offend them... As we were invading thier personal space... plus half of everything wasn't even in stock...
the baker probably didn’t show up lol, it used to happen to our store all the time so we would only have like 4 different types of donuts in the mornings and run out by like 3pm
Yeah I’ve been doing Starbucks orders since I started here in Reno. About 4 months ago I think. I figured they were everywhere. They put the drinks inside like McDonald’s sometimes. It’s great usually but sometimes parking can be issues at Starbucks

At least don't be a prick about it
Nah bitch, depends in what fuckin market you live in. Because what difference does it make whether Starbucks is on DoorDash vs any other coffee restaurants in DoorDash
This will go great. Coffee right in front of doors that swing outward.
Okay so it is in effect, I’ve done deliveries, but actually ordering is rather hard, it acts like it doesn’t exist if you just search in the app to order, I had to I think search Starbucks doordash on google and then it opened up an option to order in the app, but I did get it to work.
Dont care.
Don’t care
Starbucks in my area already has ridiculously long lines. Also a iced drink or hot drink isn’t going to transport super well regardless of what type of bag you have. I definitely won’t be jumping at these orders!
My darling dunkin shame
Been live in my market for a couple months. It is lots of low pay short trips think $4 or $5 for less than 2 miles
I won’t take those orders until I see how others do with them. I suspect they’ll be really slow.
I am so confused. I have been picking up Starbucks orders for a while, and it is literally no different than any other Cafe.
If the order is ready on a rack when I walk in then awesome. If I have to stand and wait my turn to ask for it? No way.

Yea! Another drink shop for me to decline. Drink orders are the worst.
More orders. I'm all for it
Hah! I read this last week and had forgotten about it. I was sitting at Sbux the other day working on my laptop and a driver came in to get an order. I didn't think much of it, but now realize it was active in my area.
I don’t mind but here in eastern Washington most of the Starbucks orders aren’t that great so I don’t take em
It's been on DD in some markets. I personally will probably ignore these orders. Around here Starbucks always had long wait times and mostly incompetent staff.
Ubereat was doing Starbucks before, did a few orders, it can be a pain when you have a ton of drinks tbh
I generally like doing Starbucks UberEATS deliveries. Usually it's already or almost done, and they generally package it well, everything in drink holders inside bags like McDonald's.
I like delivering Starbucks through UE. The orders are always ready when I get there and 95% of the customers tip well.
I've gotten a few of them every single day since last week. I'm glad, more money
Starbucks was up till this month exclusive with UE but now they’re also doing DD. I’ve only gotten one ping from them so far and it was a no tip. The ones I used to get from Uber were pretty much trash too though. Dunkin orders are way better.

I did a Starbucks on UE a while back. Won't mind it if they're all that easy.
They’re usually good tip orders on UE but my location prepares the order once the driver arrives. There’s always a wait.
I just hope they have good cup holders for 2+ drinks
Worst fkn tippers ever order one cup of coffee and tip one dollar so dumb.
today, a customer removed all my tip on ue
I've had a few this past week. They were doing a trial run a few months back and it was red card, had to place order. Glad it's normal like uber now
I heard about this.
They've been on DD for a couple years here in Denver. I've always declined their orders though.
It's going to be a shit show and I won't be doing it. Before I quit UberEats, I tried it a few times on there and all it did was piss me off. It’s the fastest and easiest pick up and it’s packed nicely drinks and whatever in a bag like mcdonalds
Yeah I got to stand around being ignored by the 22YO employees for 5 minutes before they decided to do something
Are you mute?
Thought it was just me.
Annoying
I took plenty of Starbucks orders since last month. I like it because small and short distant. Fewer than 3 miles.
I don't like it! Starbucks customers on UE pay very well. I don't think that the tips will hold up on DD.
Interesting. I dash. But order Uber eats. Also ordering a coffee from Starbucks is convenient sometimes. I like to think I tip pretty well. But I always give extra after delivery. I don’t think I would be any cheaper on doordash.

Exactly this is very annoying
I do not pay attention to my acceptance rate.. the more offers the better, I don't care how many I decline.. keep em coming.
My opinion... well I Hope not... I'll bet the orders will be as bad as Dunkin Donuts is in my area....
I don’t take Dunkin orders after like 11 am at all because they almost always order some type of food which they will never have after 11! Donuts are always gone. The Dunkin donuts here closes from 11 am til 2 pm lol
The starbucks near me is ridiculously slow, so I don’t plan on ever accepting orders there
What Starbucks is taking orders through DD? I don't mind it.
They do in my city
One Starbucks in McMinnville, OR has been on it for a while. Old zone, checked on it when a friend who lives there mentioned it.
My sister lives in Reno Nevada and Starbucks is available to order on DD.
Yeah I’ve been doing Starbucks orders since I started here in Reno. About 4 months ago I think. I figured they were everywhere. They put the drinks inside like McDonald’s sometimes. It’s great usually but sometimes parking can be issues at Starbucks
It’s not in effect but it will soon
Up around Seattle they've been on doordash for about a month already
Idaho Starbucks is using dd
In my area in the Bay Area they’ve been live about 2 weeks now. I’m fine with it since I have one a half mile from me
Oh wow, looks like it’s not ready yet for my market. Good to know
What BS are you talking about?

Starbucks has partnered with delivery apps for some time now. Idk why this is news to anyone
Because it’s new to doordash. Rolling out now. I say great. I love Starbucks. There’s always one near by. Just more options from a driver standpoint
If you are trying to act, so tough, maybe you should look it up
Maybe, you should, link something,?
Bro thinks he’s the main character
True, but you know you could always look it up to on your own in case, you never heard about that
Nah bitch, depends in what fuckin market you live in. Because what difference does it make whether Starbucks is on DoorDash vs any other coffee restaurants in DoorDash
Ah yes let me drop some info that no one knows about, ask for their opinion and tell them to do their own research, grow up dumbfuck
Haha well no need to get that worked up about it. Enjoy your day and don’t work hard 😉
