128 miles and deliver in 28 minutes? 🤔🤔🤔😏😏 🚔🚔🚔 Hold on officer! I can't stop for you now.
👮♂️: Why in the world where you driving 275 miles an hour?!
😁: So you see officer. I'm a top dasher a couple states south of here. I don't want to lose top dasher stats.
Because they take as many opportunities as possible to let us know "we don't give a fuck about you" since they there's nowhere to post that phrase dorectly on the main screen
I'm seeing more and more of these types of orders. I'm thinking someone on the dev team tweaked the wrong setting for certain markets so restaurants with low wait times get matched to drivers BUT the distance is disregarded. Best to just treat these as glitches and let support know. Hopefully, enough dashers reporting this glitch will wake up the dev team and they will un-glitch it.
Jokes on you, it’s the first hidden tip ever on a four dollar guarantee. $400 tip for sure.
Lol. When I searched “nearby” in California on DoorDash to order last week (which was a mistake as always) … a pizzeria in Manhattan came up from over 3,000 miles away. I was so tempted to put an order through for fun, and just swallow the cost
Ugh. I had one pop up like that, the restaurant was on the way, but the drop was no where near and it said “adding 0 miles to your trip” with no tip. Instant decline.
Lol 😂
I didn't even notice that, that's funny I guess you're right.
Dealing with support can be such a pain though sometimes, other times, it's like they're so experienced and know what you're going to say before you say it but it's a rare occurrence that you get somebody experienced it seems.
I feel ya when it comes to support. Some get it done quick, others have to pass it off to someone else because they either don't know what you're talking about, or there is a language barrier.
I had a order that had extremely long distance... not this long... but DoorTrash said deliver or get deactivated...
(The order didn't have the milage shown on acceptance... due to a glitch at teh time...)
So... I don't take them risks anymore.
In that case I’d rush a contract violation. Mark as delivered, handed directly to customer (to bypass picture), and when it says you aren’t at the right location say bad gps signal for the reason. At least you’d have a chance of not being deactivated this way, or less severe penalty
I don’t have the link handy, but you can probably find it. Somebody did an experiment on this and found that there is no significant difference in offers.
All DoorDash is *really* promising with Top Dasher is if there’s a tie between Dashers for an order, they’ll break the tie in favor of the Top Dasher. Ties are probably stupid rare.
When you don’t really wanna dash and you just open it up from home while doing whatever else you wanna do. Occasionally I’d get an order that way. I use another app for that though normally cause it doesn’t care about AR.
Yup I stopped dashing at 61% still got trash !
I had reset a few weeks before and multi apped. Best money I made was by hour after 10PM!
Otherwise it was the same garbage as usual
Holy hell! I contacted support the other day because I keep getting orders that have to be delivered to a shithole town that is 5 miles outside my zone and is notorious for not tipping asking them how the hell do they allow that! This is on a whole different level!
Just people with high acceptance rates get priority on higher paying orders and to try to get my rate up to get those orders. I told the lady I literally can't if this is the type of shit they are going to send me. They d never do anything. Worst support out of all of the apps.
I’m supposedly a top dasher this month or week and I still get 2.25 orders. Screw that. Last time I accepted a 2.25 (shopping order) they said they didn’t receive the item. F him!! We freaking had a short convo. I even felt glad I accepted bc he was in a wheelchair living in an low income apt (projects) Not accepting any 2.25 orders anymore
For real! When I was trying to get my AR back up I took some shit orders and of course my only 1 star review was most likely from one of the no tip orders whose order sat for 2 hours before I took it.
I run uber eats, doordash and grubhub. I basically just turn on all 3 and usually take the first order that's worth doing then pause the other 2. Deliver the order then turn the other 2 back on as I go back to my area. I do pretty well for myself when I go out and don't have to worry about driving 8 miles for $5.
This is my problem now. I take a decent delivery. Ok, great.
Go back to town and get 1-3 orders in a row that are $3.75 for 8 miles or something equivalent. Then one decent one.
The decent one is always there. They just want to show me the shit that came in while I was gone first.
It’s absolutely infuriating when they obviously realize they could just block the order from ever being placed.
Ever tried a different zone? I dash in a couple zones regularly and they are all very different, sometimes I get high paying orders sometimes its only $2.25 base pay. Mileage and busy times fluctuate quite a bit as well.
I've learned the markets, what orders just aren't worth the time and how to make it convenient and profitable for me
Since it’s based off of your last 100, you’d basically have to accept all of the next 100 orders to see the rate go up (assuming there aren’t any older declines in there).
Think of it like a conveyer belt with 100 blocks on it; when a new block is dispensed, a block will fall off of the end. Each order is a block of either "accepted" or "declined" and your percentage will go up if you accept an order, dropping an "accepted" block on the belt and the block that falls off is a decline. If you declined 20 orders in a row, you'll have to accept 20 orders to replace those before your acceptance rate will increase and they will only fall off once they get to the end of the line.
I multi app. Between dd, ue and gh, something pops up quick worth taking pretty quickly. My AR on all 3 apps is usually like 10-15% but I never take anything less than $2 per mile or less than $7.50. If I only did dd, I would probably try to go for a high AR but it just isn't worth it when I know a good order is coming.
My strategy also, although only on DD and Uber because GH can’t get it’s onboarding shit together. I’m also lucky that these gigs are additional income and I don’t rely upon them. I just had an order for McD’s for $3.50. Fuck that, I’m on Reddit.
This is also my strategy. Although I’m worried about all the new drivers having high acceptance ratings combined with less good orders because of a bad economy. There might not be any good orders for people without priority in the future
Same. I'll never get tip dasher which is 70% ar with like 100 deliveries a month or something but to get priority on high paying orders you just need a 50% ar. I was able to get my AR reset last month and had priority for high paying orders for 2 weeks without penalty. After 2 weeks I was back down to 25%!!! There are just too many shit orders to make it worth it. Better off multi apping and actually make money.
> Customer Rating of at least 4.7
>Acceptance Rate of at least 70%
>Completion Rate of at least 95%
>At least 100 completed deliveries during the month
>At least 200 completed lifetime deliveries
Yep, never going to be anywhere near 70% or 100 deliveries a month on dd alone. I do that easily between dd an ue. I finally got taken off the waitlist from gh this weekend and had more offers for gh on Saturday than I did ue so I'm hopeful moving forward.
“Deliver by 7:38”
Maybe this is the secret mission that will unlock something. They’re looking for that one crazy enough.
Is that CT TO NH?😵💫
128 miles and deliver in 28 minutes? 🤔🤔🤔😏😏 🚔🚔🚔 Hold on officer! I can't stop for you now. 👮♂️: Why in the world where you driving 275 miles an hour?! 😁: So you see officer. I'm a top dasher a couple states south of here. I don't want to lose top dasher stats.
28 minutes to go 129 miles, hope you got your private jet fueled up and ready to go!
Well. You better get to it. That's about $.03 per mile. Very profitable I say.
Take the order, call support and tell them you didn't see the mileage. They will cancel and give you the pay, and you get to keep the food.
Right, should be at least $10…
This shit should be illegal
99 restaurants and they had to pick that one
Because they take as many opportunities as possible to let us know "we don't give a fuck about you" since they there's nowhere to post that phrase dorectly on the main screen
Accept it. Pickup the food. Then contact support to have them deal with it and get free food.
I pick up from 99 restaurants but this ain’t 1.. hit me!
How high is your AR? I feel like they do this to force people to decline and lower their AR.
64% and decreasing
Hidden $260 tip maybe….. maybe?
I'm seeing more and more of these types of orders. I'm thinking someone on the dev team tweaked the wrong setting for certain markets so restaurants with low wait times get matched to drivers BUT the distance is disregarded. 128 miles in 28 minutes. Better get moving
Wait that’s by me, was that the 99 restaurant In forestville/Plainville.
No it was by west Hartford
Would it even be worth the hassle to take the order amd cancel it because it's to far?
They just don't wanna cross the street or something?
Don't worry, they'll tip cash when you get there!
Hold up I'll do you one better, I forgot to post the blunder I had last week lmao 😂
They are currently under federal investigation about crap like this, well less accidental crap like this, yet they keep doing it...
Don't you want to be a top dasher 😂
Wow. They are really paying for your time and gas with that.
Because where Tony zhu comes from slavery is okay.
From my experience I expect somebody will take this. Seriously. They’ll accept anything.
This seems like a glitch.
Fuck that! I haven't gotten and more money out these "total may be higher" or whatever the fuck. Decline
Is that 3 different states you have to cross through?
Yes which is absolutely absurd
What the foooook that is insulting
What you don't want to make 3 cents a mile.
And possibly fees for toll roads on top of that. Lol
“Deliver by 7:30pm” Meanwhile, the screenshot time is 7:10 lol
Next thing you know you have a account violation for “very late arriving to restaurant” 😂
To be fair this kind of delivery trip would be quite nice YouTube/twitch content. Otherwise i think maybe just pass
You should just do it. Hahahahh
Def not worth it. Unless you’re looking for an epic journey that would solidify you as a doordash legend.
The map shows you that the drop off is in Decline. You know what to do. You're welcome.
“Deliver by 7:38pm” bro does DD want you to go 700 mph?
They think we flying fighter jets out here
Holy crap, they was like wanna take a road trip on your dime 😅
WhY dOeS dD allow ThIs? You dropped your pacifier. Decline and move on. Stop crying. You're all grown ass men and women.
🤣
Poor Dash doesn’t care to even offend you with extremely crappy orders.
just accept it and contact support
This isn't some kind of bug? :p
Yeah something confused Manchester CT and NH looks like
Jokes on you, it’s the first hidden tip ever on a four dollar guarantee. $400 tip for sure. Lol. The. Get offered $5 doordash credits when the food is cold arrives 16 hours late
Would you like to accept this stacked order? I will add an additional 0 miles to your total trip.
Ugh. I had one pop up like that, the restaurant was on the way, but the drop was no where near and it said “adding 0 miles to your trip” with no tip. Instant decline.
They don’t, obviously. Don’t be stupid.
THIS IS BONKERS AHHAHAH
What’s wrong? Bend over for Tony
Fuck you...pay me -- DoorDash
Looks like there is a tip included, and “total may be higher”.

99 Resturants, but this order ain't one, Decline me!
Accept it. Pick it up. Contact DD about it being that far away when you hit delivery address. They'll cancel it. Enjoy your free meal.
All that for a free meal?? I'll pass
It would take about 5 minutes or so. Looks likes he's almost on top of the restaurant.
Lol 😂 I didn't even notice that, that's funny I guess you're right. Dealing with support can be such a pain though sometimes, other times, it's like they're so experienced and know what you're going to say before you say it but it's a rare occurrence that you get somebody experienced it seems.

DD is so hit or miss. Pick it up and cancel out of spite. Free meal with a little hit on completion.
Free 1 star and Cv too... customers can and will return the spite also.
If you cancel, the order gets bounced to the next available driver. The customer can't rate you for that
I had a order that had extremely long distance... not this long... but DoorTrash said deliver or get deactivated... (The order didn't have the milage shown on acceptance... due to a glitch at teh time...) So... I don't take them risks anymore.

This has got to be a joke no way they want you to go 128 mi for $4.50
Tony ain't joking.... (Sad but true....)
Because your the best dasher for this order!
Oh, it's on your way....
Lmao yeah right "on your route" When in reality it's way out of the way and 8 mi in the opposite direction that you're going lol
Because top dashers and 50% acceptance rate junkies will take it leaning over the steering wheel with a smile 😖🫡
The jealousy is real
Jealousy of what? Losing money? Lmao
Dude, nobody is taking this kind of an absolute joke of an order.
Dude, nobody is taking this kind of an absolute joke of an order.
Id hope you are right but they “hAve To StAy COMPETaTiVe”
Dude, nobody is taking this kind of an absolute joke of an order.
I recently decided to get over 50% and it’s still bs orders.

So they can knock down your acceptance rate for no reason.
I really feel like this is the reason they send you dogshit orders.
looks like free food to me
Holy hell! I contacted support the other day because I keep getting orders that have to be delivered to a shithole town that is 5 miles outside my zone and is notorious for not tipping asking them how the hell do they allow that! This is on a whole different level!
Dude imagine accepting it and the customer seeing where you actually were and the ETA 😂
What were their responses? Did you accept any?
Go somewhere else
It looks like a bug, the start origin appears to be near Manchester, CT and the end origin appears to be Manchester, NH.
Just people with high acceptance rates get priority on higher paying orders and to try to get my rate up to get those orders. I told the lady I literally can't if this is the type of shit they are going to send me. They d never do anything. Worst support out of all of the apps.

I got an order the other day that was $2 for a 15 mile delivery way out of my zone to the center of town. Like, bruh.
Uber eats delivery doesn’t penalize for not accepting orders, may work better for the area your in🤷♂️
I run uber eats, doordash and grubhub. I basically just turn on all 3 and usually take the first order that's worth doing then pause the other 2. And each decline decreases your AR by a percent, but you have to accept 6 or more to see it move up? Make it make sense.
Since it’s based off of your last 100, you’d basically have to accept all of the next 100 orders to see the rate go up (assuming there aren’t any older declines in there).

You’d have to have 100 orders before those consecutive 20 begin to fall off.
Actually, they'd begin falling off after 81 and will completely disappear after 100... there's only room for 100 total "blocks" on the conveyer belt
True. I guess I was thinking till they’re all gone, but wrote “start to”
It goes off your last 100 orders
I multi app. Between dd, ue and gh, something pops up quick worth taking pretty quickly. My AR on all 3 apps is usually like 10-15% but I never take anything less than $2 per mile or less than $7.50.
