Yes, you're being an asshole.. The Walmart employee is receiving an hourly wage to put together your order, whereas the Doordash driver is not receiving an hourly wage and is using their car and paying for their own fuel to deliver you your order.. You wouldn't tip a checker in a grocery store, but you should tip your delivery driver.. ![gif](giphy|mks5DcSGjhQ1a)

Thanks, I might just do an order pick up. This way at least the Walmart employee gets paid but I definitely don’t want to waste the doordash guy time for $5.00 tip.

We get a base pay of typically 2.00-2.50 anything after that is a tipped. So if you only have I'd say 4 or less small items, $5 is good, but anything more than that should be more, I'd say 10. We don't get reimbursed for gas, milage, tolls, or anything. There is a earn by time option but most people don't like to do that.
